Story
Meet Carter! Carter is a 3-year-old, 53lb pitbull mix with the sweetest heart and the silliest smile. This excited, loving boy has been waiting for over a year for someone to notice him—and he is so ready to finally find his forever person. Carter is the kind of dog who just wants to be someone’s best friend. He loves treats, hugs, toys, and anyone willing to appreciate his goofy, playful personality. He does great with other dogs (we recommend slow introductions) and would love a doggy sibling to romp around with—but he’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only. It’s hard to believe no one has scooped him up yet, but that just means his perfect match is still out there. Carter is located in Houston, TX, and transport is included in his adoption fee—so he can travel straight to you! If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will shower you with unconditional love, Carter is your guy.

Story
IDGSR Welcomes NOVA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Nova and I'm a sweet 4-6yr old female Malinois mix gal. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 4-6yrs old Kids - will do fine with older kids (10+) Dogs - good with large male dogs Cats - NO cats Training - needs standard obedience training 1. My story is pretty sad. I was chained to a tree with no interaction and used for breeding. I had my last litter of puppies (all have been adopted) and now it's my turn! 2. My foster mom estimates my age to be about 4-6yrs old. We aren't quite sure but because of my hard upbringing, I have a little more gray on my face. 3. I enjoy taking walks, exploring in the backyard, playing with other large breed dogs, and resting with my foster mom. 4. I would love to find a person/family who will take me on walks, tell me I'm the bestest girl in the world, and show me what a loving family really is. 5. I could benefit from obedience training. I'm a cross between two very intelligent breeds so I'll catch on super quick. Also, training will help us bond! 6. If you are looking for a resilient, loving, friendly, sweet, and loyal new companion - I'm your girl! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt? Story
Rescued: 11/9/2025 Age at the time of rescue: 3 months Current weight: 31.5 pounds Sweet Scooby has been patiently watching his friends find their forever homes, and now it’s his turn to shine. This medium-sized pup has so much love to give…he just needs the right home to help him feel safe and confident. 🐾 About Scooby: ✅House & crate trained ✅Walks nicely on a leash with positive reinforcement ✅Food motivated (which makes training a breeze!) ✅Loves other dogs and would thrive with a calm, older dog to show him the ropes ❤️Total love bug once he feels comfortable Scooby can be a little unsure of the world at first. Loud environments and young children can be overwhelming for him, so he’s looking for an adult-only home where he can relax and truly be himself. Cats aren’t his thing either - but give him a canine companion and he’ll be one happy pup. This boy doesn’t need perfection, just patience, understanding, and someone willing to let him blossom at his own pace. And when he does? You’ll have the most loyal, loving companion by your side. 🐶💙 Thank you for considering a dog in need! Please go to our website at www.satoheartrescue.org to download our application. The adoption fee is $500.00 which can be paid in cash or check. We look forward to working with you! PLEASE DO NOT send an INQUIRY THROUGH Adopt-A-Pet. Story
Train (approximately 59 pounds) and his brother Automobile were transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. They are listed as Belgian Malinois mixes and we definitely support that theory! The boys are extremely friendly, social, and outgoing - however, they are NOT starter dogs. They are highly intelligent and very driven to do a job, which means that we are looking for adopters with some type of Shepherd experience or a life-long dream of having a genius of a dog for a companion and a plan to help him be mentally & physically active so that he can be his best self. Train is gorgeous both inside & out, and with the right person or family who enjoys working with this type of dog, he is going to be an absolute dreamboat. He is high energy and smarter than most people, and he is extremely responsive to training. Train loves other dogs and did very well in doggie play groups at his previous shelter, although his play style may be too much for a more sedate canine friend. If you've always wanted an athletic mastermind as your best friend & adventure buddy, you must come meet Train today - he's waiting for you!If you'd like to meet Train and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: Black Weight: 26.8 Age: 1yrs 2mths 1wks

Story
I had Lucy for about a year now. Her house caught on fire and the family couldn’t keep her. My sister took her in and could no longer keep her as well as she barked too much being in a condo and left alone. My mother said she would take her but she is not nice to one of my mothers dogs. Not soon after she said yes to keeping her my family moved in with my mother. Which we now have four dogs and two cats and four kids. We tried making it work for a over.Lucy is a great dog with all the other animals besides our only male German shepherd. She is constantly barking in his face and we can no longer deal with it. Lucy is great with all people and has never given an issue with our cats. I think she would thrive in a household that can give her the attention she deserves. Some one who can be home with her would be ideal but I kno that’s not always realistic. If the tv is left on she will bark a lot less when she hears people outside but I wouldnt recommend her going to an apartment building.
