Story
Moose is a big, goofy sweetheart looking for his forever family! He’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly — he loves fetch, puzzle toys, car rides, and being part of whatever you’re doing. And when the adventures wind down, he turns into a full-on snuggle marshmallow. Moose is super smart and already knows sit, down, paw, touch, stay, and wait. He’s food-motivated, house-trained, and always eager to learn something new. He walks nicely on leash, though he can get a little unsure around cars or other dogs. Since he’s still in his “teenage phase,” Moose would thrive with someone experienced with active working breeds who can keep his brain busy and his routine consistent. Moose is looking for a special kind of home — one where he can really shine. He’d love a calm, adult-only household with no other pets, where he can soak up all the attention for himself. And this big boy dreams of a yard to stretch those legs, so apartment life just isn’t his style. ⭐️ Training Support A generous donor is offering $500 toward a professional training package for Moose’s future adopter to help set him up for success. If you want a loyal adventure buddy who will make you laugh daily and curl up with you every night, Moose might just be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Violet! 🐾Violet is a spunky 1-year-old Malinois/Shepherd mix currently living in New Hampshire. Her litter was sadly dumped on the streets shortly after being born in mid-September, and she came into care on December 21, 2024. Now a healthy, happy 44-pound girl, Violet has recently been spayed (October 27, 2025) and is up to date on her 3-year rabies vaccine.Violet loves to play, whether on her own or with other dogs, and would likely thrive in a home with male dogs only. She may do best in a home without small children, as she doesn’t have experience with them yet. She has some basic training but will need a patient adopter to continue teaching her. This sweet girl is also a big snuggler and enjoys spending time outside whenever she can. She's a great traveler in cars so would be an amazing partner if you like to go to go to fun places to hike! The Malinois breeds are not for everyone - even mix breedsTemperament & Behavior: • Intelligent & trainable: Learns quickly and thrives on challenges. • High energy: Needs 1–2+ hours of daily exercise. • Loyal & protective: Forms strong bonds with family. • Sensitive: Responds best to gentle guidance. • Strong prey drive: May chase moving objects, including other animals. • Social: Early socialization is key to confidence and calm.Name: VioletBreed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 1 year (estimated)Weight45 lbs : Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Youngins’ make her nervous! Story
Hello world. Our names are Demi (F) and Russell (M). We are barely over a year, nearly did not survive as younger pups, and then given the gift of love and kindness. So, here we are today. Our mom did not survive the cruel owner. But dad was his pride and joy, a large Belgian Malinois. Our owner did not care if we lived or died. At one point our littermates were coming down with parvo. This person did not care that our littermates were suffering. This very kind lady was persistent (all 5 feet tall). She came day after day until one day she told them she wasn't going to stand by and let us die too. Demi had all but given up. She was too weak to walk. The owner surrendering them loaded us up in her minivan. After a lot of TLC (tender loving care), medicine, and time, we came back to life. Today (08/13/2024), we do not slow down for pictures. We slow down enough for treats, dinner, and getting into our playard. We love all sizes of other dogs, we have been exposed to cats but have too much energy and love of life to say we are cat social. We love people, sort of leash trained, crate trained and for the most part house trained. We do get in a whole lot of playing and forget to go to the door. Our ideal home is active. Older children would be good. Have time to make us a part of your family. We want to please you. We are not a bonded pair. We would do great with or without another dog as company. Please request an application alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. Once you have received your application please fill out in full including your references email addresses. Next step is to submit your deposit to reserve me for your adoption.  See you soon Demi Female Spayed Breed Belgian Malinois mix Color Black and White Age 17 months old (As of 08/13/2024) Weight 49lbs Great with people, older children, dogs Adoption donation $525 Carlton Rescue- Operation Puppy Love 501c(3) (Like us on Facebook)
