MEET LIONELLionel would do best in a very active teen / adult only home, he is very high energy but sometimes does not know when to take breaks and would need a more structured routine! He would enjoy creative ways to get his energy out like long hikes/runs, lots of play time with breaks in-between, and possibly dog sports if you were interested in that route! Examples could be agility or dock diving, although he would likely need to work on his routine and basic training before attempting this if it`s something you are looking for. He can be mouthy / jumpy while playing and will need some help working on his manners and is very food motivated , loves to play, and is doing well with and enjoys positive reinforcement training. Lionel can be dog selective so slow introductions to other dogs are important. Lionel is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays.For information about our adoption process click here

Augustus was found as stray by a good Samaritan. He is 3-4 yrs old and weighs 65lbs. Very sweet demeanor, gets along well with other dogs, is crate and house trained and loves to hang out with people. Coco is a very friendly dog. 5 year old. Always excited to meet new people. House trained.She was attacked by dogs at a dog park before so gets defensive with other dogs. Sent her for training and she was fine with dogs when I'm not around. I have to rehome her as I'm moving to a different country where I won't be able to provide care for her. Would like to find a loving home for her.

At only 12 weeks old, Shrew is already learning commands and working hard on house training - and she seems to pick things up twice as fast as the average puppy!Shrew doesn't have the intense energy you might expect from a full Malinois, but she definitely has plenty of typical puppy playfulness. She would love having another playful, active pup or dog in the home to be her buddy!She can be a little shy when first meeting new people or dogs, simply because she hasn't had much exposure yet, but she warms up quickly. Once she knows you, she is incredibly friendly, social, affectionate, and loves being part of whatever is going on.Shrew is great with kids, does well with cats, and absolutely loves a good snuggle when playtime is over. She also travels well and would be happiest with an active, on-the-go family that wants a dog they can take along on adventures.Shrew is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find her forever family! ❤️
