Story
About AstroAstro is a handsome, high-energy three-year-old Belgian Malinois with a strong and intelligent presence. While he’s considered relatively mellow for his breed, he still shows the classic Malinois traits—active, alert, and eager to engage. Astro is friendly with people and is reportedly housebroken, with at least basic training, including how to sit.He would do best in a home without cats and with children over the age of 8. Astro is looking for a dog-savvy family familiar with the needs of the Malinois breed—someone who can provide structure, exercise, and mental stimulation to help him thrive. We estimate his weight to be between 60–65 pounds. With the right environment and guidance, Astro has the potential to be a loyal and rewarding companion. No kids under 8No cats

Story
Meet Velma, your next adventure buddy! 🐾 Velma is a beautiful Malinois, believed to be about three years old, and she’s a smart, sweet girl with plenty of personality. She may be a little shy when you first meet, but give her a little time to warm up, and you’ll quickly see her affectionate side shine through. This clever girl already knows how to sit and is happy to show off her good manners—especially when there’s a tasty treat involved! Of course, Velma also has a mischievous streak. She’s quite the little “Houdini” and has discovered that fences can be more of a suggestion than a boundary. 😉 Because of her impressive climbing skills, she’ll need a securely enclosed yard with a minimum 6-foot fence. Velma would do best in a home without cats and with someone who will give her the patience, structure, and guidance she needs to thrive. In return, you’ll have a smart, affectionate, and engaging companion who is ready to become your very best adventure partner! Considerations No cats 6-foot fence No dogs

Story
Amber aka Skittles is the dog you have been waiting for! She is smart, sassy, confident, drivey, curious, loving, great with people and dogs! She is the total package who you can mold into whatever you could dream of!  She's a fast learner and has mastered crate and potty training, is doing great with obedience training and is learning to be neutral around dogs and calm in the home. She has great food and toy drive which will make training a blast! She is still a Malinois so be prepared for some prey drive, teeth fencing sessions and parkour!  We hope that her forever human can put her to work - this could be serious or for fun as long as it stimulates her brain! If you are into scent work, detection, agility or even bite sports, she is your girl! She would enjoy adventures and road trips as she is great in the car and loves to be outdoors. She loves having playmates so a furry sibling would be great! She is untested with kids but we recommend older kids. No cats at this point due to her prey drive. Will you be her human? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application! Story
Fenyx is a total love bug with his human and just wants to please! He is the best weighted blanket, the best dancer and hugger! He has the sweetest face that you can't resist! He wants to just be near you - total Velcro dog - he does the best contact heel, gives the best kisses and hugs!He is super smart but such a wiggle butt when learning, so eager, such a puppy with high energy - it's adorable and hilarious! He learns quickly and it's really fun to watch him grow and thrive! What he knows: Name House manners Potty trained Sit, Down, Place, Crate, Stay, Bed, Here, Stand, Front, Middle, Leave it, Roo and Sit Pretty [last two are fun little standing on hind leg tricks] - all in progress vs prooved. He has high food drive! He's being trained in German mostly but once dogs learn the behavior it's not that hard to change the language. Heeling on both sides and Loose Leash Walking Traveling downs Touch command [in progress] Recall / Off leash work - doing well but at this time he can only go where he won't run into stranger dogs, however he can recall from prey unless he's 100% committed.   Ecollar conditioned Thresholds Crate trained What he is actively working on Calm behavior and reducing impulsivity and reactivity [ask us about this!] Settling Trusting new handlers Independence Muzzle Training Who he is good with and Where he needs more work Dogs: He is great with his foster sisters! With proper, slow introductions, he CAN integrate into a home with dogs. He is not really a playmate though.  Stranger Dogs: He is reactive to dogs he doesn't know. He has been working on this through board and train and ongoing training. He has been part of group training to work on being ok around dogs and has done very well. He will need continued work and exposure.  People: He LOVES them but he cannot be trusted when he is overstimulated! When he is too triggered he can panic bite [never punctured skin]. He has been working on this in Board and Train and his foster has continued the work. He has been able to be handled by others and has NEVER touched his foster mom, which tells us that once he trusts, he trusts and loves forever! He is a dog that his human has to read well, manage his arousal level while also continuing to work on it via exposure.  Ideal Home Dedicated and Experienced home: He would love someone who is excited about training sessions, sets good boundaries and can build confidence. Active home: We hope his forever human likes to take him running or go on adventures in the forest vs the city! He is not a party boy, family dog or Golden Retriever-type dog. He is more like a soldier who needs instructions and wants to work or he becomes dysregualated! He really just needs someone who is willing to put in the time! Less humans in the home would be ideal but he never had an issue with foster's partner He would thrive in a place with property to run and explore. He requires more work to be able to frequent busy trails No children or cats, small dogs or prey animals in the home  His foster experiences him as the sweetest, most affectionate and cuddly dog there is BUT he just doesn't know what to do when he's overwhelmed. He can be that for you once he fully trust.  He is currently doing Tracking with his foster mom and excepping - the trainers say he has amazing focus!! He might also enjoy scent work, NASDA or agility.  He will need a human who really gets the Malinois mind in an insecure body! He needs someone who understands a rescue Malinois! He needs someone who is willing to take on a challenge and run with it because it will make a difference in this dog's life! He needs a lot of boundaries, structure, confidence building and proper introduction to the world. What you get in return is everlasting love and loyalty! He will do anything you ask, trust you and be your die hard partner in crime Cute Anectodes from Foster Mom "Fenyx thinks he is a lap dog and will find a way to make it work""He loves being touched and will seek out my hand, just putting his muzzle in it, holding it there gently [sometimes less gentle]""Sometimes, he just nuzzles into my chest, lets out a big sigh and just looks at peace being so close and comforted, it just melts my heart""He at times looks like a deer hopping through tall grass which is the cutest thing in a 65# boy" Fenyx has so much LOVE to give and is just waiting for his furever match! Would that be you?   We really hope YOU are out there!  Check him out: Here ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application! Story
Sola is settling into her foster home really well so far! She has not met a human or dog she doesn't like. She has a fun personality - she can switch between complete Velcro dog to being completely independent! She is smart and is learning basic obedience really quickly, showing she is eager to work and please. She will get a great foundation with her foster parent who is a professional trainer - she is even going to go to CGC training! What she's been learning: Place/stay, heeling with lure, nose touch, retrieve, down, away, learning to go in the lake and she's mastered recall! So far she is doing well with big and small dogs but is showing some prey drive so we recommend no cats in the home. She can be exuberant and super playful. She's been learning to enjoy toys and had fun picking her very own stuffy at Tractor Supply..and she is learning how fun tug is!  She has medium food drive and works well for treats! This girl is gaining confidence and loves to go on adventures! She loves room to roam and a lap to sit on! She enjoys furry friends and would love to have a friend of her own. We can imagine her having a ton of fun going to the lake and on hikes or runs! She will make a wonderful companion and adventure buddy for someone!  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application!
