And I am not sure WHY, except I am a smart and busy boy. I would do best in a single dog home...one great thing about me is...you don't have to trudge me to the dog park.... i prefer to be at home with YOU. I am good with cats too!! Now, if you know the Belgian Malinois breed you will know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain- that is the way to wear me out ;) Doggy puzzles, wearing a weighted backpack, all kinds of ways to do that! I love to be challenged and to LEARN what you want me to do to be your new bestest friend!! I want a really nice family who will hike, bike, run, swim with me too! 🐾 Meet Waffles! 🐾 Age: 3 years old Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Status: Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions Waffles is a stunning, smart, and athletic Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family! At 3 years old, she’s past the puppy stage but still full of energy and enthusiasm. This girl is incredibly sweet and eager to please, but she will thrive best with a breed knowledgeable owner who understands both the mental and physical needs of a Malinois. Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training. Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, and intelligent companion who will love adventure as much as she loves downtime with her people, Waffles could be the perfect match. 💌 Could Waffles be your new best friend? Apply today and give this amazing girl the home she deserves! $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transportation to your area)

Story
Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Animal Profile: Looking for a partner in crime? Meet Felon! He's a neutered male Belgian Malinois that is around 18 months old, 55 lbs, and is ready for a person to call his own. Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but will be best in a cat-free home. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. With this foundation he's ready to shine with a family dedicated to providing ongoing mental and physical stimulation, structure and leadership.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Adopter Profile: Large breed dog experience required Working breed dog experience preferred Other dogs of similar size OK No small dogs or cats Secure fenced yard preferred Interest in training/dog sports  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, and microchip with lifetime registration. Felon's adoption will include a go-home training session to set his future family up for success. The adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 non profit organization. Animal History: Felon was rescued from a chain in Baton Rouge Louisana by Trample Dog Rescue and taken in by The Good Dog, who relocated to Bellingham. He is currently being fostered by The Good Dog Way in Bellingham and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. Potential adopters will need to be available to meet Felon in Bellingham, WA.March 7, 2026, 12:47 pm

Story
aAnimal Information: Waffles is a 1yr old neutered male Malinois mix who currently weighs 70lbs, but does need to lose a little weight! He and his littermates were left in a parking lot at Devore shelter when they were just 8 weeks old. Unfortunately the shelter was full so one of our rescue partners took the puppies home to vet them and find them families. Waffles is the last of the litter many months later, and he has been living in a trailer park with other dogs and people. We look forward to meeting him! Foster Profile:  Waffles is such a big love! He loves all people and other dogs and is quite a “leaner” so be prepared for lots of affection from this sweet boy. Waffles is crate and potty trained. He can be a little vocal when he is first settling in, so we are not considering apartments for him at this time. He’d love a home with a fence yard and a bit of room to run and play. We think Waffles  would do best  in a home with a balanced dog friend but will consider active applicants, especially with large breed experience, without another dog. Waffles is an energetic boy and would make a great running/hiking partner, but he does have a good off switch when inside and it’s time to chill. Waffles recently spent time with some younger kids and was very gentle with them. He has not lived with young kids and given his age and activity level slightly older kids, 7 and up, will likely be best. With appropriate supervision of his puppy energy and a commitment to continued training, we believe he'll make a great family dog. He's making great progress with this already! Overall Waffles is a sweet boy with lots of love to give to a lucky PNW family. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from CA via Wiggle Butts, arriving to foster care on 12/13/2025 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.March 7, 2026, 12:47 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾🌟 Meet Nash — Your Co-Pilot for Life’s Next Adventure 🌟🐾 Male • 4 Months Old • Shepherd Blend • ~15 lbs (for now!) If you’ve been searching for a handsome, happy, life-loving puppy who wakes up every morning ready to take on the world… Nash would like to submit his application. At just 4 months old and around 15 pounds, Nash is currently in the very important stage of puppyhood known as “Everything Is Amazing and I Must Investigate It Immediately.” Leaf blowing across the yard? Investigation required. Toy on the floor? Time for a wrestling match. Another dog nearby? Instant best friend. Nash is a sweet, playful, active pup who absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playmate for backyard zoomies, wrestling matches, and the occasional “who can run faster” competition. He’s also wonderful with people and brings that classic happy puppy energy wherever he goes. Of course, like most pups his age, Nash does come equipped with tiny puppy shark teeth and sharp little nails — mainly used for enthusiastic kisses, toy battles, and the occasional investigation of shoelaces. Cats are currently unknown, but since Nash is still so young, with proper introductions he should adapt just fine. One thing is certain: Nash is a full-time bringer of puppy joy and laughter. Life with him will include plenty of silly moments, wiggly greetings, surprise zoomies, and all the goofy puppy shenanigans that make raising a dog so much fun. And when he grows up? Nash is expected to be that perfect medium size — big enough for adventures but still compact enough to fit perfectly into everyday life. That means he’s ready to sign up for things like: • Hiking and weekend adventures • Neighborhood walks • Camping trips • Backyard playtime • Co-piloting all errand runs (he takes this job very seriously) • Couch snuggles after a long day of fun If you’re looking for a pup who will bring laughter, adventure, and a whole lot of love into your life, Nash is ready to jump into the passenger seat and start the journey. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Nash bring the puppy fun, the zoomies, and the lifelong friendship home. 🐶💛

Story
Sheeba is my name and I am quite the celebrity around here :) Let me tell you all about it... have a seat and grab some tea. I was living on the streets with a gang of friends... found by a rescuer we were being fed but there was no room to put all of us. Of course, I was pregnant and after I gave birth the rescuers were afraid with all the storms that my babies wouldn't survive out there. So the pound was called, and let me tell you....I WOULD HAVE PROTECTED MY PUPS WITH MY LIFE........ of course, that is deemed "aggressive" and after my two day stray hold I was going to be euthanized and my puppies sent to rescues to bottle feed and raise up :( But MY rescue said, UH UH... She comes with the pups.... and they MADE IT HAPPEN! Now, it wasn't easy but I settled in to the routine and learned my caregiver's names and soon enough I was eating out of their hands. And they learned some neat but sad things about me.... I belonged to someone who trained me....... it is sad because no one has any idea where that person is nor why I was living on the streets :( Also, I am a very smart girl so I am also very sensitive to change....but, with my pups grown and adopted, I am now a model citizen at the rescue. Look at my video....I had JUST met the trainer that day and she absolutely fell head over heels for me. Now I am ready for you, I will complete your family. I am still working on my other dog skills and would probably be best where I can be the only dog and give you all my love. I am a gorgeous girl, my coat resembles a Belgian Shepherd's and I have GSD face and mannerisms. So if you want to adopt me, you must love and understand the working breeds. We need an outlet for our drive and you have to provide that to give me a great balanced life. I am ready, I hope you are too!! Local adoption only, $200 (in TX) (or if you want to drive down to meet and take her home that is cool too :)

Story
Meet Kanga! 🐶💛 Breed: Large Shepard/Mix Personality: Gentle, Cautious, Extremely Loving Kanga may be a big dog, but he has an even bigger heart — once he feels safe. This sweet guy can be fearful around new people and will often bark to let you know he’s unsure. But with slow, respectful introductions, Kanga starts to show his true colors: affectionate, loyal, and irresistibly cuddly. He knows some basic commands like sit, come, down etc. Once you’re part of his circle, Kanga becomes a total lovebug who just wants to be close, soak up attention, and share quiet moments with his trusted humans. He thrives in a calm, patient home where people understand that trust takes time — but it’s worth every second. Kanga would do best with dog-savvy adults in a low-traffic home where he can settle in at his own pace. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you deeply once he knows you, Kanga is ready to meet you — slowly. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX)

Story
Ruger is a special boy who needed a special name!! In German my name stands for "spearman" or famous warrior..... guess what?? I am a LOVER, not a FIGHTER!! Now, I have had a ruff start to my life, but my life's prospects are so SO much better now that I am rescued and loved and safe! I was found by a nice guy on the streets of Austin, TX so SO skinny and so SO scared! Now, he did the best he could but when he ended up in drug rehab I was taken to the rescue here and my life has REALLY begun now! I am still skinny but nothing like I was before, I am a nervous fella and burn through some calories every day. I have a sweet and scared personality when you first meet me, but I get over that fairly quickly. i need a breed knowledgeable owner and. strong leader to help me build up my confidence too. I am worth the time and effort, promise! I am ready for you, are you ready for me?????? Local adoption fee is $200 (in Texas only)
