PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hello, peasants. I'm Prince. Yes, the name fits. At just 4 months old, I'm already tipping the scales at around 50 pounds, and rumor has it I'm still growing. A lot. If you're looking for a tiny lap dog, keep scrolling. If you're looking for a larger-than-life best friend, we should talk. I'm an energetic, fun-loving puppy who is always ready for the next adventure. Hiking? Let's go. Exploring? Absolutely. Swimming? Even better! I LOVE water, and with my webbed feet, you could say I was built for making a splash. I'm a friendly guy who enjoys meeting people and playing with other dogs. My play style is a little enthusiasticokay, very enthusiasticbut I mean well and just get excited about life. Everything is fun when you're Prince. As a growing puppy, I'm still learning my manners, but I'm smart, eager, and ready to take on the world with my future family by my side. I'll need a home that appreciates my size, energy, and adventurous spirit, and in return, you'll get a loyal companion who is always up for whatever comes next. If your idea of a perfect day includes muddy paws, outdoor adventures, and a giant dog grinning beside you, I might just be your Prince Charming. Let's go make some memories. Love, Prince

Story
Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hey there — I’m Astro 🚀💙 I’m a 7-week-old Great Pyrenees/Aussie/Lab mix with fluffy cream-colored fur, dreamy blue eyes, and a face that apparently makes humans immediately start talking in baby voices. I don’t really understand it yet, but I’m rolling with it. My siblings and I were rescued from a rural area outside of Bastrop, Texas after being found as strays with our mama. She was extremely skinny when we came into rescue, but she still took such good care of us. Now we’re safe, loved, and discovering that life is pretty great when you have soft blankets, full bellies, and people who adore you. I’m a sweet and curious little guy with a gentle personality and just enough puppy confidence to make exploring fun. I love waddling around investigating new things, soaking up attention, and giving my best serious “tiny polar bear” expression when people take my picture. With my mix, I’ll probably grow into a beautiful medium-to-large dog around 60–70 lbs full grown — loyal, smart, affectionate, and ready for adventures with my future family. What I’m really looking for is a home where I can grow up feeling safe, loved, and included in all the little moments of life. Someone to teach me things, cuddle me after long puppy days, and remind me that I’ll never have to survive on my own again. Until then, I’ll just keep being the fluffy blue-eyed heartbreaker of the litter. 🩵🐾

Story
Meet Ghost, a 2-year-old, 91 lb Great Pyrenees with a big personality to match his size. He walks well on a leash—though he may pull at times, he settles in nicely with a confident handler. Ghost would do best in a fenced yard where he can roam and satisfy his love for exploring. True to his breed, Ghost will naturally become protective once he feels comfortable and understands his space. He does come when called (as much as a Pyrenees typically will!) and thrives on attention—especially head scratches. If he’s not getting enough, don’t be surprised when he reminds you with the classic “Pyr paw.” Ghost isn’t just a fluffy dog—he’s a big, cloud-like companion full of attitude, playfulness, and charm. He’s eager to learn, wants to please, and would make a wonderful match for someone who can give him purpose or simply plenty of time and companionship. At 91 pounds, he’s all heart, fluff, and a big voice to go with it. Ghost is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Duke is a wonderful dog. He is smart, protective, and very sweet. He is eight years old but still runs around like a puppy. He is well-trained and can do walks both on and off leash. He would do very well in a home with only adults, as he tends to get scared of young children who can be unpredictable.

Story
July 2024: Noah is growing more confident. He still needs another dog to play with and follow. He is crate trained and needs a 6' fence. He is walking on a leash and had his first outing to Lowes this week and did great. Feb 2024: Noah is a happy high stepping 11 month old pup. He evens smiles. That being said he will need an experienced adopter, secure 6' fence, and an active playmate. He will adjust so much better with a playful dog to follow. He is totally crate trained and loves being outside playing with toys. He has been fearful since he was 2 months old Found alone in a road in Eastern KY. He walks fine on a leash and is very friendly at our public events at Petsmart. At the foster home, he is afraid of strangers. He will just need time and patience and will be an outstanding friendly playful pet. Update 9/5/23 His DNA is in and the picture included. He is a happy pup who high steps with happiness. He will do much better with a playmate and dog to follow. He is crate trained. Update 8/15/23 Noah is growing! he is doing well, getting used to being handled. He loves other dogs and needs a companion to follow and play with. He is doing great with crate training and needs to be gotten out quickly in the morning to avoid accidents. He smiles and high steps in excitement when you talk to him now! So cute. Probably going to be around 30-35 lbs. He is 6 months old and 25 lbs. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs. Application: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app

Story
Welcome Sadie! She is a 25 lb, 3 month old, hound/great pyr mix. She was surrended with her sister to the shelter after wreaking havoc on the chicken population at the first home, and we brought them to SAAP this week.   This girl has some BIG paws and is likely to be a pretty large dog once full grown.   I just think this girl is SO stinking cute (those puppy eyes!!) and she's your typical happy and playful puppy that loves toys, playing, and running around. She was quiet in her kennel overnight, but is not housebroken. Sadie is also spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines and heartworm/flea prevention.    Apply to #AdoptSadie at www.adoptastray.com, reply to your approval email, or come meet her at an adoption event.  June 24, 2026, 8:10 pm

Story
Mater is a sweet guy who has very typical breed traits from his Great Pyrenees/Aussie Shepherd mix. Since a new home will be a big change for him and we want to be sure he settles and shows his family his best self we would recommend fostering to adopt for Mater. Mater came to his foster home after almost two years of being bounced around between various homes and boarding. He has also always used his size to get his way. In the past year we have worked with a professional trainer, established a routine and gotten Mater on medication to manage his anxiety (Fluoxetine). All of this has helped Mater be his best self. Mater also has some backup trazodone that he takes when foster mom knows his anxiety will be higher due to storms or fireworks. In his foster home Mater has learned that humans are in charge and he doesn't need to be the leader, sit and wait to be released for meals, how to relax and stay in place, that furniture is invitation only, and is working on re-crate training to learn crate is a safe space not punishment. Mater lives with two female dogs, a 45lb dominant female and a 75lb submissive female. He also does fine with my sister's 45lb male dog when they come to visit. Mater does sometimes resource guard toys. So, when my dominant female and Mater are together toys are put away. Other times he loves to play with toys and my submissive dog defers to his toy preferences so they play with toys well together. Mater does not like small dogs (under 15lbs) or cats. I also recently had a 27lb male puppy foster who caused Mater's anxiety to go through the roof. I think it was because this foster had no fear of Mater. He would literally run under Mater if Mater was in his way. Mater has done well when my sister has come over but does bark loudly at new people at first. He has done okay meeting people on a leash at adoption events. However, we would not recommend Mater be in a busy household with lots of visitors due to his anxiety Mater has made incredible strides in his foster home and is looking for his best fit family who will continue to support his progress. He is waiting for his perfect forever family to find him!March 7, 2026, 3:29 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet HollyBerry ✨🍓 4 years old | 65 lbs | Certified Goofball | Professional Best Friend If joy had a mascot, it would be HollyBerry — and she would be sprinting toward you at full speed with a toy in her mouth and zero personal space boundaries. 😄 💖 THE GOOD STUFF (aka: Why You’ll Fall in Love Instantly) ✅ Sweet as pie (like… the kind your grandma brags about) ✅ Professional goofball — laughs guaranteed ✅ Endless energy — always ready for an adventure ✅ Elite-level cuddler — snuggles are her superpower ✅ Social butterfly — LOVES people ✅ Confidence: 100/10 ✅ Eager to please — truly wants to be a good girl ✅ Fetch champion — seriously, she lives for it 😅 THE “LET’S BE HONEST” SECTION ❌ Thinks chain-link fences are more of a suggestion than a rule ❌ Can have a little too much fabulousness for some dogs ❌ Too big + enthusiastic for small kids and cats ❌ Likes to gently hold your hand… with her mouth (it’s weirdly sweet, we promise) 🐾 THE HEARTBEAT BEHIND THE GOOBER Holly’s story is one of second chances and big hope. Over a year ago, she was just moments away from being euthanized in a rural Texas shelter. She was saved in the nick of time and moved to what was supposed to be a temporary outdoor setup. But temporary turned into a long wait. And Holly? She’s still waiting. Despite it all, she is overflowing with love. She adores people, lives for affection, and will happily melt into you for belly rubs. She’s smart, playful, eager to learn, and wants nothing more than to belong to someone. Fetch is her jam. Cuddles are her currency. Love is her whole personality. She dreams of: 🏡 A secure, tall-fenced yard 🛋️ A couch (or your lap… or both) 💛 A human who chooses her forever Holly isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees her big heart, her goofy grin, and her unstoppable love, and says “You’re mine.” ✨ If you’re ready for laughter, loyalty, and a dog who will adore you with her entire soul, HollyBerry is waiting. Apply now at haydudeequine.org and give this girl the happy ending she’s been dreaming of. 💖
