Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi!! I’m Aggie 🐾🤍 I’m a 7-week-old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix puppy with fluffy white fur, puppy-dog eyes, and a very important job: stealing hearts everywhere I go. Right now I’m just a tiny little guy, but one day I’ll probably grow into a big handsome boy around 60–70 lbs full grown. My siblings and I were found as strays in a rural area outside of Bastrop, Texas. Our mama was very, very skinny when we were rescued, but she still took such good care of us. Now we’re safe, loved, and learning that full bellies, soft blankets, and kind people are pretty amazing. I’m a sweet, gentle puppy who loves cuddles, exploring new things, and looking adorable without even trying. I’m still little, so I’m figuring out the whole “being a dog” thing, but I already know I love people and being close to my humans. I’d love a family that will help me grow into the loyal best friend I’m meant to be. Someone to teach me, play with me, let me nap beside them, and remind me every day that I’ll never have to fend for myself again. Until then, I’ll just be over here being fluffy and perfect. 🩵

Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hey there — I’m Astro 🚀💙 I’m a 7-week-old Great Pyrenees/Aussie/Lab mix with fluffy cream-colored fur, dreamy blue eyes, and a face that apparently makes humans immediately start talking in baby voices. I don’t really understand it yet, but I’m rolling with it. My siblings and I were rescued from a rural area outside of Bastrop, Texas after being found as strays with our mama. She was extremely skinny when we came into rescue, but she still took such good care of us. Now we’re safe, loved, and discovering that life is pretty great when you have soft blankets, full bellies, and people who adore you. I’m a sweet and curious little guy with a gentle personality and just enough puppy confidence to make exploring fun. I love waddling around investigating new things, soaking up attention, and giving my best serious “tiny polar bear” expression when people take my picture. With my mix, I’ll probably grow into a beautiful medium-to-large dog around 60–70 lbs full grown — loyal, smart, affectionate, and ready for adventures with my future family. What I’m really looking for is a home where I can grow up feeling safe, loved, and included in all the little moments of life. Someone to teach me things, cuddle me after long puppy days, and remind me that I’ll never have to survive on my own again. Until then, I’ll just keep being the fluffy blue-eyed heartbreaker of the litter. 🩵🐾

HAWAII anyone?? I mean, VACATION anyone?? We are the Hawaii girls and we would LOVE to give you a private tour of the most dynamic group of islands in the world!! So do you like pineapple and SPAM?? We do!! We think so anyway, I mean we are not even 8 weeks old yet....so no we haven't tried either yet but being named after the islands put us in an adventurous mood! So you can see how adorable we are and our story is one of love, a LOT of work- a LOT of lost sleep of multiple bottle baby fosters! There were 10 of us, all 2 days old- and born under a house and our mom was hit by a car. Lucky for us people KNEW we were there and saved us.....and the rescuers saved us ALL! Now we are ready for adoption into our forever homes!! We are sweet girls, looking for sweet and adventurous families...We are "shepherd/boxer" mixes with gorgeous markings, likely will be 50+ pounds full grown- we have fairly substantial paws :) We can't wait to meet you!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Mater is a sweet guy who has very typical breed traits from his Great Pyrenees/Aussie Shepherd mix. Since a new home will be a big change for him and we want to be sure he settles and shows his family his best self we would recommend fostering to adopt for Mater. Mater came to his foster home after almost two years of being bounced around between various homes and boarding. He has also always used his size to get his way. In the past year we have worked with a professional trainer, established a routine and gotten Mater on medication to manage his anxiety (Fluoxetine). All of this has helped Mater be his best self. Mater also has some backup trazodone that he takes when foster mom knows his anxiety will be higher due to storms or fireworks. In his foster home Mater has learned that humans are in charge and he doesn't need to be the leader, sit and wait to be released for meals, how to relax and stay in place, that furniture is invitation only, and is working on re-crate training to learn crate is a safe space not punishment. Mater lives with two female dogs, a 45lb dominant female and a 75lb submissive female. He also does fine with my sister's 45lb male dog when they come to visit. Mater does sometimes resource guard toys. So, when my dominant female and Mater are together toys are put away. Other times he loves to play with toys and my submissive dog defers to his toy preferences so they play with toys well together. Mater does not like small dogs (under 15lbs) or cats. I also recently had a 27lb male puppy foster who caused Mater's anxiety to go through the roof. I think it was because this foster had no fear of Mater. He would literally run under Mater if Mater was in his way. Mater has done well when my sister has come over but does bark loudly at new people at first. He has done okay meeting people on a leash at adoption events. However, we would not recommend Mater be in a busy household with lots of visitors due to his anxiety Mater has made incredible strides in his foster home and is looking for his best fit family who will continue to support his progress. He is waiting for his perfect forever family to find him!March 7, 2026, 3:29 pm

Story
Meet Maggie! ❤️ Maggie is a sweet and gentle 3-year-old, 48-pound Bernedoodle who is learning that life as a beloved family companion can be pretty wonderful. With her calm nature and affectionate personality, she's ready to find a patient family who will help her continue to blossom. Maggie enjoys spending her days relaxing on the couch, soaking up ear scratches, and keeping her people company. While she isn't overly active, she has recently started engaging in daily play with her 40-pound foster dog sibling and is discovering just how much fun being a dog can be. She could thrive as an only dog or with a calm canine companion, though another confident dog may help her continue building confidence. This lovely girl is house-trained when kept on a regular schedule and walks nicely on a leash. She currently prefers shorter walks as she builds her endurance. Maggie has also done well around children, remaining calm and accepting of gentle affection and activity around her. Like many dogs adjusting to a new life, Maggie is still learning that it's okay to be home without her people. She may howl briefly when left alone but takes comfort from the example of calm canine companions. Maggie can be a little reserved when meeting new people and tends to warm up to women more quickly, but with patience and kindness she forms trusting bonds with everyone in her circle. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who would rather cuddle on the couch than run a marathon, Maggie may be the perfect match. All she asks for is a loving home, a little patience, and the chance to continue discovering how wonderful life can be. Maggie is fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet HollyBerry ✨🍓 4 years old | 65 lbs | Certified Goofball | Professional Best Friend If joy had a mascot, it would be HollyBerry — and she would be sprinting toward you at full speed with a toy in her mouth and zero personal space boundaries. 😄 💖 THE GOOD STUFF (aka: Why You’ll Fall in Love Instantly) ✅ Sweet as pie (like… the kind your grandma brags about) ✅ Professional goofball — laughs guaranteed ✅ Endless energy — always ready for an adventure ✅ Elite-level cuddler — snuggles are her superpower ✅ Social butterfly — LOVES people ✅ Confidence: 100/10 ✅ Eager to please — truly wants to be a good girl ✅ Fetch champion — seriously, she lives for it 😅 THE “LET’S BE HONEST” SECTION ❌ Thinks chain-link fences are more of a suggestion than a rule ❌ Can have a little too much fabulousness for some dogs ❌ Too big + enthusiastic for small kids and cats ❌ Likes to gently hold your hand… with her mouth (it’s weirdly sweet, we promise) 🐾 THE HEARTBEAT BEHIND THE GOOBER Holly’s story is one of second chances and big hope. Over a year ago, she was just moments away from being euthanized in a rural Texas shelter. She was saved in the nick of time and moved to what was supposed to be a temporary outdoor setup. But temporary turned into a long wait. And Holly? She’s still waiting. Despite it all, she is overflowing with love. She adores people, lives for affection, and will happily melt into you for belly rubs. She’s smart, playful, eager to learn, and wants nothing more than to belong to someone. Fetch is her jam. Cuddles are her currency. Love is her whole personality. She dreams of: 🏡 A secure, tall-fenced yard 🛋️ A couch (or your lap… or both) 💛 A human who chooses her forever Holly isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees her big heart, her goofy grin, and her unstoppable love, and says “You’re mine.” ✨ If you’re ready for laughter, loyalty, and a dog who will adore you with her entire soul, HollyBerry is waiting. Apply now at haydudeequine.org and give this girl the happy ending she’s been dreaming of. 💖
