DESPITE WHAT THE BANNER ON THIS PROFILE SAYS, EDEN DOES NOT LEGALLY NEED TO BE SPAYED WITHIN 30 DAYS. Caring for an unspayed dog is very easy. She has 1 heat cycle that last 1-2 weeks every 6-8 months. She has worn dog diapers during this time to keep everything clean. Hi my name is Eden. I am very loving and sweet. I am gentle with babies and children. I get along with cats. I love my walks and I am very protective of those I love. I have medium to low energy. I love Raw Hides, running around the back yard, going for walks and snuggling with my humans. I know how to sit and shake. I am potty trained.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX. DOGS ARE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org 🎩🐾 Meet Mr. Banks — Proper Gentleman by Day, Professional Cuddle Enthusiast by Night! 🐾🎩 Yes, that Mr. Banks. Named after the famously structured and dignified character from Mary Poppins… and much like his namesake, this Mr. Banks appreciates a well-run household and a predictable schedule. At approximately 3 years old (DOB 3/17/2023) and a dashing 95 pounds, Mr. Banks runs a tight ship. 6:01 — Enter the room. 6:02 — Dinner, belly rubs, cuddles. He does want to clarify that while punctuality is appreciated, he is willing to accept those three items in any order. He’s reasonable like that. Mr. Banks has that “lovin’ life” mentality that turns everyday moments into grand events. A walk isn’t just a walk — it’s a parade. A car ride isn’t just transportation — it’s a red-carpet appearance. A trip to the coffee shop? Obviously he’ll take a puppaccino. He has standards. Despite his impressive 95-pound presence, Mr. Banks is all manners and charm: • House trained ✔ • Crate trained ✔ • Knows his basic commands ✔ • Does not jump on people ✔ • Does not get on furniture ✔ • Does not scratch at doors ✔ • Up to date on vet care ✔ • Accepts brushing like the distinguished gentleman he is ✔ He is extremely treat-oriented. You’ve never seen focus until you’ve seen Mr. Banks lock eyes with a Milk-Bone. NASA could study that level of concentration. He’s fantastic with people — tall, small, and everyone in between. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys a good romp in the yard or toy session. A home with two-legged or four-legged siblings? That would be, in his professional opinion, “the bomb.” And let’s talk adventure size. At 95 lbs, he is: • Perfect for nature hikes (nose engaged the entire time) • Excellent for camping trips (will supervise the campsite) • River-ready (cool water = happy Banks) • Large enough for elite-level cuddle sessions • Big enough to make you feel safe • Just small enough to still try to be a lap dog Mr. Banks would thrive in a home that appreciates: • Consistency (he loves routine) • A little daily activity • A dog who follows the rules • A companion who is equal parts adventure buddy and couch confidant He truly wants to be part of your life — the everyday errands, the weekend fun, the quiet evenings at home. Everything is an adventure to him. Even taking the trash out could be a bonding moment. If you’re looking for a well-mannered, treat-motivated, adventure-ready, schedule-appreciating best friend with a big body and an even bigger heart… Mr. Banks may very well be your boy. 👉 Fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org and let’s see if this distinguished gentleman is ready to clock into your life forever 🐾✨

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💙🌊 Meet Glacier — The Sweetest Sidekick on Four Paws 🌊💙 (1 year • 50 lbs • Male • Professional Belly-Up Specialist) Glacier has officially blossomed — and oh, what a glow-up it’s been. At 1 year old and around 50 pounds, this handsome boy has really come into his own. The shy youngster we once knew has grown into a confident, happy, tail-wagging social butterfly… as long as he has a dog buddy by his side. And that’s important: Glacier needs another friendly, confident dog in his forever home. He absolutely adores Cindy Lou and thrives when he has a canine role model and playmate. He’s not an alpha, not a bossy boots, not a “let me run the meeting” type. He’s more of a “you lead, I’ll happily follow and bring snacks” kind of guy. 🐾 Glacier’s Personality Highlights: • Super sweet and incredibly loving • Big fan of belly scratches (will roll over at impressive speeds) • Great with all other dogs • Loves the river — part dog, part happy little otter • Not a jumper (your countertops are safe) • Likely fine with cats — he’s never bothered the barn cats • Should do well with kids 4+ Glacier walks beautifully and naturally checks in with his person. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be near you — not in a clingy way, just in that soft, loyal, “you’re my safe place” way. And the river? Oh, the river is his happy place. Splashing, wading, exploring — he lives his best life with a little water and a lot of tail wagging. If you’ve ever wanted your own personal adventure buddy who also doubles as a cuddle puddle, congratulations. You’ve found him. He’s playful without being wild, affectionate without being overwhelming, and at the end of the day, he’s perfectly content to flop over dramatically for belly rubs like he’s auditioning for a soap opera titled As the Tail Wags. Glacier has spent too much of his young life waiting. But through it all, he has stayed gentle, joyful, and full of love. Now he just needs a forever home — one with another friendly dog, some outdoor adventures, and humans who appreciate a soft-hearted, water-loving goofball. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will splash beside you, nap beside you, and roll over for belly rubs at the speed of light… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Glacier is ready to melt right into your heart. 💙🐾

Apollo is great with dogs & loves people. He's a typical pyr who likes to play but is just as content being a couch potato. Apollo requires a tall, secure wood fence. He sails over a 4 ft fence & climbs anything taller if its a wire fence. He's very intent on seeing what's on the other side or visiting the other side :) You can't blame him, he is named after the Greek God for healing or all the spaceships we have sent into space??? I like adventure :) just take me with you when you go!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Mater is a sweet guy who has very typical breed traits from his Great Pyrenees/Aussie Shepherd mix. Since a new home will be a big change for him and we want to be sure he settles and shows his family his best self we would recommend fostering to adopt for Mater. Mater came to his foster home after almost two years of being bounced around between various homes and boarding. He has also always used his size to get his way. In the past year we have worked with a professional trainer, established a routine and gotten Mater on medication to manage his anxiety (Fluoxetine). All of this has helped Mater be his best self. Mater also has some backup trazodone that he takes when foster mom knows his anxiety will be higher due to storms or fireworks. In his foster home Mater has learned that humans are in charge and he doesn't need to be the leader, sit and wait to be released for meals, how to relax and stay in place, that furniture is invitation only, and is working on re-crate training to learn crate is a safe space not punishment. Mater lives with two female dogs, a 45lb dominant female and a 75lb submissive female. He also does fine with my sister's 45lb male dog when they come to visit. Mater does sometimes resource guard toys. So, when my dominant female and Mater are together toys are put away. Other times he loves to play with toys and my submissive dog defers to his toy preferences so they play with toys well together. Mater does not like small dogs (under 15lbs) or cats. I also recently had a 27lb male puppy foster who caused Mater's anxiety to go through the roof. I think it was because this foster had no fear of Mater. He would literally run under Mater if Mater was in his way. Mater has done well when my sister has come over but does bark loudly at new people at first. He has done okay meeting people on a leash at adoption events. However, we would not recommend Mater be in a busy household with lots of visitors due to his anxiety Mater has made incredible strides in his foster home and is looking for his best fit family who will continue to support his progress. He is waiting for his perfect forever family to find him!March 7, 2026, 3:29 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🤎🐾 Meet Joy — 80 Pounds of Fluff, Love & Classic Bernese Goofiness 🐾🤎 6 Years Old • 80 lbs • Bernese Mountain Dog If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a real-life teddy bear who occasionally trips over her own feet… Joy is your girl. At 6 years old and 80 pounds, Joy is everything people adore about Bernese Mountain Dogs — sweet, gentle, loyal, and just the right amount of goofy. She has that classic “Berner heart” that leans into you for pets, follows you from room to room, and looks at you like you personally invented sunshine. Joy is calm and affectionate, but don’t let that fool you — she absolutely has her silly moments. The famous “Bernese bounce” makes regular appearances, usually when she’s excited to see you or when she remembers she has legs and should use them. She’s wonderful with other dogs and friendly with everyone she meets. Truly, she’s a social butterfly wrapped in 80 pounds of fluff. And let’s talk about her love language: brushing. Spa day? Best day. Brushing session? Yes please. Extra brushing session? Also yes. She will happily stand (or lean dramatically) while you brush her and tell her how beautiful she is. She agrees, by the way. Because of her size and joyful enthusiasm, we’d recommend a home without very little kids. She would never mean to, but during one of her happy-go-lucky moments she could accidentally knock over a tiny human. Older kids who understand “big fluffy dog incoming!” would be just fine. Joy’s Highlights: • 6 years old — past the puppy chaos, fully into the sweet spot • 80 lbs of fluffy devotion • Typical gentle, loving Bernese personality • Good with other dogs • Friendly with people • Professional-level brushing enthusiast • Goofy in the most endearing way If you’re looking for a big, beautiful best friend who will warm your feet, fill your home with love, and occasionally make you laugh with her adorable clumsiness, Joy is ready to bring exactly what her name promises — pure joy. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let this fluffy sweetheart start her forever chapter with you. 🐾🤎

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Denali! Denali is a 3.5-month-old, 35 lb. Anatolian Shepherd mix with the most unique look — a large-breed pup in a low-rider, long body (we suspect he may be mixed with something like a Basset Hound!). He’s truly one of a kind. Denali loves being part of a pack. He absolutely enjoys playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with active canine companions and kids to grow up with. He’s fun-loving, playful, and full of personality. He responds well to correction and can be redirected easily. He would do best with an experienced owner who understands how to appropriately correct and guide Denali. In just two weeks, Denali has made incredible progress — it’s truly night and day from where he started. Any minor behaviors we’ve seen are already improving and are expected to continue fading with time, consistency, and structure. Denali was found as a stray, but you’d never guess it from his adventurous spirit. He isn’t afraid to explore new environments and has already learned to use the stairs in just a day! He uses pee pads and is picking up house training quickly. He is crate trained, though he does have a little separation anxiety likely due to his early circumstances. With patience and reassurance, he continues to gain confidence. His superpowers include epic puppy zoomies, bouncing all over the house, and bringing nonstop joy with his playful energy. He loves teething toys, tennis balls, and anything that squeaks. Despite loving other dogs, Denali is very human-oriented. He adores his people and just wants to please them. He thinks he’s a lap dog and would happily snuggle up on the couch to watch TV with you after a day of adventures. Denali is happiest when he’s learning new tricks, exploring with his humans, or cuddling close. He needs a patient, confident handler who can continue to help him grow into the loyal, devoted companion he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a unique dog with a huge personality, playful spirit, and endless love to give, Denali may just be your perfect match. Denali is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
