Need a special little boy to spoil and love? Meet Mozley! He is a handsome 4-year-old, 10.8 pound, white, Bishon / Poodle mix. He was brought to AFC as a stray. He had lots of foxtails and was taken to the vet immediately. The vet removed foxtails from his feet and ears. He is feeling so much better now! Mozley will need to be professionally groomed on a regular basis. He needs an experienced groomer as it appears to be a new experience for him. Mozley is a needy boy and wants to be your constant companion. His best placement is an adult only home or a family home with gentle teenagers. He is an excellent travel size and will be welcomed wherever you go. He may need some leash training. He may need some housetraining. Mozley is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. He is ready for his new life as a pampered pooch to begin. This little gem is a medical special needs pup. Sasha is a very sweet and easy going 3 year old Bichon mix; she is about 11 pounds. She loves all people and dogs and enamors everyone she meets. She walks well on leash, sleeps through the night in her crate, and does relatively well with her alone time. She has an adorable way of getting one's attention and loves to play with other dogs. Unfortunately Sasha was most likely hit by a car at some point and her spine is broken in her lower back. She has full use of all her legs, but she's completely incontinent. Her foster assists her to empty her bladder 3-4 times per day (easy to do, and a potential adopter could be taught to do it). If she is assisted to empty her bladder, her diaper stays dry and her fur stays clean. Due to her condition, Sasha is prone to UTIs, but helping her to empty her bladder regularly decreases this potential. Luckily she doesn't show any signs of pain and has a full life expectancy. Sasha will need to live with someone who is home most of the time. She'd probably do best in a home with a yard, so she doesn't always have to be in a diaper, but she would also be an easy dog for an apartment dweller as she doesn't necessarily have to be walked first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Since Sasha is "non-shedding, she will need regular grooming. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Sasha is $200. The jury is out on his exact breed mix - Havanese? Poodle? Bichon? - but there's a unanimous verdict on his cuteness. Kangaroo, a pepmobile with a penchant for adventure, is guilty of adorable in the first degree. He is also friendly and ready to frolic with dogs and humans, inside or out, definitely in the sunshine, and maybe in the rain, sleet or snow. So far, he's pretty much up for anything. Fun fact: He recently got a shave, so adoption comes with a sweet hairdo reveal!

Q is appx 4 to 5 yrs old bichon! He's calm and likes to snuggle, enjoys his daily walks outside. He weights about 16lbs and loves to eat! He does fine with other dogs and is great with people! His back right paw was amputated as he was hit in an accident, his family in China didn't want him after that incident. He's able to walk/run/jump just fine! He is house trained and potty trained. Dominic is the sweetest little guy you will ever meet. He's 8 lbs of pure love. After being found as a stray and being shaved, neutered, lots of teeth removed, top of head stitched up and lots of eye drops (forever), he still loves to go for walks, get hugged and kissed, hang out with his fosters other dogs, sit on your lap (all the time). He is super easy to bathe, quiet, uses the dog door 99% of the time, and sleeps through the night on top of the bed. 13-year-old Dominic has some hearing loss and will grab at food in your hand but doesn't bite. He likes tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden and shares his food with the other dogs. He will need eye medicine for tear production the rest of his life and is a good boy when putting the drops in. Dominic is good with other dogs and is an easygoing boy. His favorite forever home will be where he has a lap to sit on and someone home with him for much of the day.
