Story

Kenzie (female) is about 14 years old and a very calm dog (we always called her the Zen dog). She loves going for walks, still walks really well, and does her potty outside. However, because she is old, I put a doggie diaper on her just in case she has any incontinence with peeing (sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't). She is VERY loveable and likes to sleep a lot. She would be great for a one pet household with no kids (small kids/babies can startle her and she can react if caught off guard). She’s not an aggressive dog but can get territorial if there are other dogs in the house (she's fine with cats). She has early kidney disease so she’s on a special diet (Royal Canin Renal Support), and has mild back pain but still can jump up and down from furniture. I can no longer take care of her as I have moved to a senior apartment. I love her so much and hope to rehome her vs euthanasia.

Buddy is a male Shih Tzu mix who was brought to our shelter on 4/9/24 after being found in Dublin. He hasn't been claimed by his previous person, so he's now looking for a new home! Buddy is 11 years old, and currently weighs 8.8 lbs. He has been vaccinated, and is already neutered and micro-chipped. Buddy qualifies for Senior Sunday! Adoptions are sponsored each Sunday for pets aged 7-years and older!

Bubbles is a sibling to Blossom and Buttercup. All 3 were dumped in parking lot. She was adopted mid March but just returned due to family allergies. She is gentle and very sweet. Social and friendly. Bubbles is doing great at her foster home and playing with 3 other small dogs. She is calmer than the other dogs. More info. to come. Bubbles is doing great at her foster home with another small dog. Alone she is nervous but once with another dog she is happy. Learning and doing well on house-training.
