Story
LONGEST RESIDENT!  Hi! I'm Mustard. I don't know how much you know about Florida curs - but 2/3 of every litter of true Florida Cur Dogs are born with a bobbed tail, just like mine! People seem to love my nubbin wags! Florida Curs are a very special, active, working line dog - I come with a lot of energy, but am also an amazingly fun and silly class clown. If you're looking for an active companion to hike, adventure and train with - I'm your guy! Mustard is a 2-year-old, 58 lb, Black Mouth Cur mix looking for his forever family. He is UTD, neutered, microchipped, house trained, and walks well on leash. He is crate trained, and is not destructive when left loose in the house. Mustard is very energetic and would love a family to cuddle and go on adventures with. He is not good with cats and needs work on his social skills with other dogs but has a lot of potential to do great with them. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body but is A LOT of dog and needs firm boundaries or he plays too rough, for this reason we are recommedning him to an adult only home with handlers who are physically strong and set good boundaries.  Mustard will receive free professional training support FOR LIFE through our organization. Adoption fee REDUCED: $75 ##1518452##

Story
Copper (5 year old cur mix) and Nala (3 year old pit bull) are a bonded pair and need to find a forever home together. If you are looking to fill your home with twice the love and twice the kisses, please consider this pair. They are well behaved house pets. They were abandoned at a boarding kennel together and have only each other in this world. They are housebroken and good, well behaved family pets. Copper is great with other dogs, Nala is a little more standoffish with new dogs - ideally, with Nala's nervousness with new dogs and the stress of adding two dogs to the home, we would love to see them be the only dogs in their new home. No cats.  Because they are a bonded pair, they are available for a single adoption fee of $150. Both dogs are spayed/neutered and current on their vaccines. ##2138078##

Story
Senior dogs make such great house guests. They are typically more relaxed and already know household rules. If this is the type of dog that might fit in your household, then we believe Hope is for you. Hope is confident on her own but thoroughly enjoys affection from people she trusts and would prefer to be a lap dog. She's an 10-year-old senior black mouth cur who weighs around 53 pounds. Hope enjoys other dogs that have an independent personality, another senior would be ideal. If you think Hope would make a great addition to your family and you own your home in either Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Lake, or Osceola county FL, then please read over our adoption process and fill out an adoption screening form here: https://mettarescuefamily.org/adoptable-dogs   ##1193524##

Story
I found Dee on the side of road 3 yrs ago. Shes at grandpas, he is not able to properly care for her. I am desperate for help. I cannot keep her there anymore. She needs a home where she can have a life, people with her throughout the day, walks, and activity. I take her to park, but she needs more exercise. She loves to snuggle, play, run, explore. She does good with my mom’s dogs but cautious around new ones since it’s been a while since she’s been around them. A meet and greet is needed with you and your babies. Do not know her history. I don’t think she understands what cats are, she tries to chase them. I think she would prefer human kids. We got her spayed. Sweet girl is terrified of storms, we give calm treat. I looked for family, I think she was abandoned . I will always love and help her with anything, feel free to reach out to me if you ever needed help with her. Looking for unconditional endless love for her, a furever loving home/family, as she and all animals deserve that.

Story
Huckleberry is the sweetest girl. She will lick you to death! While she is great around kids and other pets I think she would thrive in a quieter home. She can be anxious and prefers a calm environment. We are devastated to re-home her but we simply cannot provide her with what she needs.
