She's currently decided that her foster parents' bedroom on the 2nd floor is a good place to chill, and is just beginning to get comfortable hanging out on the 1st floor. Her foster family is going to be working diligently on helping her get adjusted to home life. She is fearful of men and as a result is very cautious around them. Whoever decides to make Gabby their forever friend will need to be patient and dedicated in continuing her training. She will reward your efforts with her attention and lots of sniffs. In many ways, Reggee is a cat in a dogs body. Shes an incredible leaper who likes high places, she will curl up and nap on your lap for hours, and she loves the comfort of home and her humans. Reggee has plenty of dog in her too. She is eager to play with other pups, enjoys running at the dog park, and loves a good chew toy. Reggee is a one-year-old black mouth cur/boxer mix (we think) looking for a quieter home away from the hustle and bustle of the city. She is an excellent coworker who is content spending much of the day swapping naps at your feet with naps on her bed. Reggee has been professionally trained and knows touch, sit, lie down, stay, and come. She is house trained, crate trained, and comfortable with boarding. Reggee is currently on an SSRI and comes with a large supply of medication. This may be unnecessary in the country or suburbs. Reggee could thrive with another dog, but we only recommend a multi-dog household with an experienced owner.

Roo is a stray found in Raymond, Mississippi when she was about 4 months old. She has the most beautiful blue eyes and softest coat ever! She is golden brown in color with the long legs and ears of a hound. Roo is dog, people, and children friendly. She loves to play and is super sweet. Roo loves to run and play. She needs plenty of room to play, as she is a high energy dog; however, once she plays and expends her energy, she does settle down nicely. At one time, she was with a foster family who had 3 children and several dogs. She loved the children and dogs and played with them well. Roo is now boarding, and she desperately needs a forever home! Roo is being cared for in Mississippi but we do transport. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Someone dropped these two sweet brothers off and just drove away, leaving them to fend for themselves. At 10 pounds and 2 months old! A kind neighbor called the rescue and, of course we had to say yes. Now both of them are looking to be adopted into their own forever homes. They are just as sweet as pie, playful, love play time with each other and other dogs and are just as silly and goofy as a puppy should be. These boys will need love and guidance, but we are positive that they are destined to be great dogs! They are current on all shots, have been neutered and microchipped and are ready to join their new families. This beautiful, easy-going girl is Harper. She’s looking for the perfect home to settle into and watch the Phillies (check out her hat)! Her foster family has taught her all about being a good girl and using her manners. She is around 2-3 years old and weighs 65 pounds. She is not a big girl, just muscular and healthy.  Her favorite things (other than her people) are laying in the sun, looking out the door, and taking walks. She is great on leash, but can be strong at times. She loves to cuddle up on the couch for a good movie and relaxing. She is the perfect girl indoors and can be left out without messing with anything. She is crate training too if needed and house trained. She is great in the car and listens well to commands. She is so smart and will learn routines quickly. She is not picky with her treats or toys. She is happy to play fetch in the yard or chew on a bone inside. She will bark if someone comes to the door. She will fit perfectly in any home that’s looking for a sweet dog. She is amazing with kids. While she is not aggressive with other dogs, we think she does prefer to have the house to herself. weight 25 lbs age: 4 months as of 4/25/24 adoption donation $599     Mckenzie is a sweet, friendly and mellow black mouth cur puppy who will make a wonderful family dog.  She is part of a litter of 8 who were left in a cardboard box in the driveway of the Wags founder outside of Tupelo, Mississippi. The pups certainly hit the jackpot, they spend their days romping and playing with their siblings and then snuggling into a big puppy pile to nap. Mackenzie has had her puppy shots, is microchipped and was recently spayed. She is ready for a loving home of her own. McKenzie loves to play with the other dogs at the rescue, she's fine with cats. She rides well in the car and loves everyone she meets. Black mouth curs are known to be wonderful family dogs, they are mellow and medium size, friendly and loving. Like any puppy McKenzie  needs someone who will be around for her and give her the structure and training she needs to grow up to be the very good girl we know she can be.
