Story
Peach is a sweet, protective girl who loves running around the yard with a favorite stick, but is also very calm in the house. Enjoys her daily walk, sleeps most of the day; likes to play tug of war with a toy or chew her favorite bone; loves being in her crate when we’re away. She does well with our 2 young kids but would thrive best in a house where people are not coming or going. We rescued her 12 months ago; she definitely gets startled easily if someone sneaks up on her (maybe her eyesight?). She has bit three people who have startled her, we believe protecting us, but we have a lot of foot traffic and cant have the liability. She went through rigorous training this summer with Sit Means Sit, is very well mannered, doesn't pull on walks (we use a beep collar to correct behaviors & she's been great with it). House broken, not destructive to furniture, not anxious, rarely barks, not scared of fireworks/lightning. Peach is a great dog - we'd love to see her rehomed!

Story
Meka was found on the streets of Philadelphia and taken in by the SPCA. My husband found her online and rescued her 5 years ago. We have loved having Meka as apart of our family. However, with our family soon growing, we are looking to find her a new home so we can focus solely on raising our child. We would love to find meka a new home where she can run around and enjoy the outdoors. Meka is VERY trained. She walks without a leash. If you say heel, she will walk right by your side until you say break. If you say “bed” she will go right to her bed and stay there until you break her off. She is trained to not go on couches or beds. She sleeps in her crate every night!

Hey everyone, meet JoJo! Do you love snacks? Then look no further, because this girl right here, was meant for you. Breakfast, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, dinner, midnight snacks are always welcome. This sweet girl has been in a loving home but due to a loss in the family and change in living circumstances, Miss JoJo finds herself looking for another one. She has not been around cats of small children, but has a naturally sweet disposition and gentle temperament. As a predominantly inside dog, JoJo is house trained but is used to spending time outside in a fenced yard. She has a playful personality and has played well with the other small dog that has lived with her. Please consider giving Miss JoJo a forever home to live out the best years of her life. Story
Brynn’s story could have hardened her — but instead, it made her extraordinary. This beautiful girl joins us alongside four of her puppies, the Royals Litter, after being brought into a southern shelter by animal control. She was missing half of her rear leg and needed a proper amputation. X-rays also revealed she is covered head to toe in BBs and buckshot — heartbreaking reminders of a past she never deserved. And yet… Brynn remains one of the sweetest, softest souls you will ever meet. She is the definition of gentle. Brynn is wonderful with dogs of all sizes and meets new dogs beautifully. She is ultimately very submissive and reads other dogs well, making her an easy addition to a respectful canine home. She’s quiet and shy at first and needs time to feel safe, but once she knows she’s okay, her affectionate nature shines through. This girl is not made for busy city living. She is currently adjusting to the sights and sounds of a quiet neighborhood and would thrive in a laid back, calm home with a secure, fenced yard. Brynn is quite street smart and capable — she’s learned how to survive and navigates the world carefully — but she feels safest in a peaceful environment. As a tripod, she gets around beautifully. Don’t let the missing leg fool you — she can move, explore, and enjoy life just like any other dog. She doesn’t see herself as different, and neither should you. At home, Brynn is an expert snuggler. She melts into you on the couch and gives the sweetest little kisses — the kind that feel like thank-yous. Brynn has already raised her babies and survived an uncertain past. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. To be seen and loved for the wonderful girl she is.  ♥ Brynn is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment. Please don’t let that discourage you from opening your heart and home to her. Heartworm disease is treatable, and it cannot be transmitted directly to humans or other dogs. We will provide all necessary medication, along with guidance and support throughout her treatment. Brynn is fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania and is available to head home with a family. Brynn is in our Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best.
