Peach is a sweet, protective girl who loves running around the yard with a favorite stick, but is also very chill in the house. Enjoys her daily walk, sleeps most of the day; likes to play tug of war with a toy or chew her favorite bone; loves being in her crate when were away. She does well with our 2 young kids but would thrive best in a house where people are not coming or going. We rescued her 9 months ago; she definitely gets startled easily if someone sneaks up on her, which is why we cant keep her. She has bit three people who have startled her, we believe protecting us, but we have a lot of foot traffic & cant have the liability. She went through rigorous training this summer with Sit Means Sit, is very well mannered, doesn't pull on walks (we use a beep collar to correct behaviors & she's been great with it). House broken, not destructive to furniture, not anxious, rarely barks, not scared of fireworks/lightning. Peach is a great dog - we'd love to see her rehomed!

She wants to be loved and give love in return. Layne lives with other dogs, kids and a baby. She is a sweetheart and a quiet girl—she is the only dog in the house who does not bark at the mailman! Layne loves to run in the yard and watch the birds fly by so a fenced yard is preferred. She adores loves playing fetch and treat time. She loves romping around the yard with her four-legged foster brothers and would love a canine companion! Layne does well with senior dogs as well. Layne also has a foster brother, Puddles, who is her very best buddy so if an adopter was potentially looking for two dogs they would be a perfect pair! adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs Age 8 months dob. 1/10/25 Jade is an adorable mixed breed pup who seems to be some kind of black mouth cur mix. . She is a gentle and sweet and loving girl who is just a delight. Jade and her sisters Josie and Journey were part of a group of puppies that were sadly being given away for free at a local Walmart in Mississippi. The woman who runs the rescue Wags of Monroe County couldn’t bear to see these puppies going to people with no vetting and so she scooped up the remaining three girls. Since then, the puppies have thrived, they love to run and play with all the dogs at the rescue and then cuddle up together in a puppy pile to nap. They have all been spayed and have their vaccinations and are all healthy happy girls. Jaden and her sisters are still in Mississippi, but ready to come up to the northeast in mid October on the transport truck that leaves every Friday from Tupelo. We know these girls will all make wonderful family dogs, but are fine to consider a foster to adopt. Jade is such a gentle, calm girl, we know she will be a loving member of the family. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! KENNEL ID #18804 Rudy was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Rudy was a stray and was so pitiful in the shelter. Rudy weighs approx. 30lbs. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend?
