Meet Rupert &#194&#150 A Resilient, Loving Boy Ready for a Fresh Start Rupert's journey to the Rockwall Adoption Center was not an easy one, but despite everything, this sweet boy has proven himself to be incredibly resilient and full of gentle affection. Now that his stray hold has expired, Rupert is officially ready to find a forever home where he will be valued, safe, and loved for life. Rupert is an approximately 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur/Whippet mix who weighs under 50 lbs. He is friendly, expressive, and eager to bond with people. Though we don't have any background information on him, Rupert has shown us that he is smart, attentive, and ready to learn. With structure, patience, and kindness, he will blossom into a loyal companion. His adoption fee is $125. Rupert is neutered, current on his rabies vaccination, boosters to date, microchipped and heartworm negative. Rupert deserves a soft landing after a tough start, and he's ready to begin his new chapter with a family who will give him the love and stability he has been missing. Jack had been part of an abandoned liter with mother in the country. The farm he was abandoned at believed the mother was a Plott Hound, and the vet we brought him to believes him to be a Black Mouth Cur mix. We brought him home in August 2022 so he is approximately 3 years old. He has grown jealous of several of my children and I do not have the time to train him correctly.
