Story
Lucky to Love Clover They say three-leaf clovers are a sign of simple, everyday luck… and our Clover is living proof that sometimes three is pure magic. This fun-sized tripod may only have three legs, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. Clover zooms, plays, and prances through life with the biggest smile and the brightest spirit. She’s proof that you don’t need four leaves — or four legs — to be extraordinary.Clover’s favorite things? Belly rubs that last forever, cozy cuddles on the couch, and sticking close to her people. She loves being part of the action and will happily be your little shadow, soaking up attention and giving it right back. All Clover needs now is her lucky charm — a family to call her own. And honestly? The real luck will belong to whoever gets to love this sweet girl every day. Adopt Clover and add a little extra luck to your life.History: Clover was originally adopted from OHAR in 2022, and for a while, she was living her happily-ever-after. When her family welcomed a new baby, Clover welcomed that tiny human with her whole heart. True to her loyal nature, she became very protective. She adored her little sibling so much that she simply couldn’t understand why other people needed to get so close. In Clover’s mind, she was just doing her job — keeping her precious baby safe from all those “suspicious” hands reaching in.Unfortunately, that protective instinct became a little too much for the growing family’s needs. And so, through no fault of her own, sweet Clover made her way back to OHAR.She didn’t lose her loving heart — she just needs the right environment where she can thrive and feel secure. Clover is still the same cuddly, belly-rub-loving, fun-sized tripod who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. Now she’s waiting for her next lucky chapter… one that understands her loyalty is one of her very best qualities.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess

Story
🐾 Meet Ruby! 🐾 Ruby is an adorable 8-week-old puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This little girl is full of puppy energy and loves to play, explore, and soak up attention from her people. Ruby is great with kids and other dogs and would thrive in an active home where she can run, play, and continue learning about the world. Like most puppies her age, she’s curious, playful, and ready to be someone’s best friend. Ruby isn’t particularly fond of cats, so she would do best in a cat-free home. She is still a baby and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and lots of love as she grows. In return, Ruby promises endless puppy kisses, zoomies, and a lifetime of loyalty. 💜 If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion to grow up with your family, Ruby might be your perfect match! Please fill out an adoption application to meet Ruby! https://form.jotform.com/leosfriendsrescue/adoption-application

Story
Meet Vincent – Your One-and-Only Adventure Buddy Vincent is an approximately 1-year-old Catahoula mix weighing 56 lbs who is ready to trade shelter life for a home of his own. After spending 173 days waiting as of 05/14/26, he's now one of our Diamond Dogs, and his adoption fee has been reduced to just $75- but what he really wants is a family to call his own. This handsome boy has the looks that turn heads and a personality that keeps life fun. Vincent is still very much a puppy at heart- full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. He's smart, playful, and thrives on interaction, making him a great match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to continue his training and development. Vincent does well with other dogs but can be a bit dominant with other males- he's truly a ladies' man and tends to prefer female canine companions. A meet and greet is always recommended to ensure the best fit. He would also do best in a home without cats. He was originally found near Corporate Crossing in Rockwall and, although microchipped, was never reclaimed. Since then, he's been patiently waiting for someone to see his potential- and he's more than ready to meet them. Vincent is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his rabies, DAPPV, and Bordetella vaccinations. If you're looking for a smart, energetic dog who will keep you on your toes and be your constant companion, Vincent may be the perfect match. Story
Meet Rupert – Ready to Finally Belong Rupert is a 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur/Whippet mix weighing approximately 63 lbs who is more than ready to find the loving home he's been waiting for. After spending 142 days in the shelter as of 04/10/26, he's now one of our Diamond Dogs, and his adoption fee has been reduced to just $75. Rupert's story started with heartbreak- he was found by Rockwall Adoptions staff after being dumped over the front gate overnight. Despite that, he has remained incredibly loving, resilient, and eager to trust again. This handsome boy is friendly, expressive, and loves being around people. He's smart, attentive, and eager to learn, making him a wonderful companion for a family willing to continue building his confidence and routine. Rupert has a playful side and enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who can match his energy. He tends to do best with female dogs or non-dominant companions- he's truly a ladies' man- and a meet and greet is recommended to ensure a good fit. Rupert does not do dominant males of any kind. Rupert is still young and would thrive in a home that can provide structure, activity, and companionship. Whether it's playtime, walks, or just relaxing with his people, he's ready to be a loyal and loving addition to the right family. Rupert is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and heartworm negative- fully ready to go home. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate dog who has overcome a tough start and is ready for a fresh beginning, Rupert may be the perfect match. Story
Meet Tucker. Tucker is an approximately 2 to 3 year old Shepherd mix weighing around 60 pounds who is now available for adoption after never being reclaimed. He was originally found near I 30 by Lakeside Vet Clinic in Rockwall on 05/18/26 and is now looking for a fresh start with a loving forever family. Tucker is still very new to Rockwall Adoptions and staff members are continuing to learn more about his personality and preferences. So far, he has shown himself to be a shy but very sweet natured dog who can be a little reserved in new surroundings. Once he begins to feel comfortable, Tucker quickly forms strong attachments to his people and enjoys staying close by their side. He is the type of dog who will happily follow his person from room to room and simply enjoy being near them. Tucker is house trained and appears to enjoy the comfort and routine of a home environment. Because he is still settling in, we do not yet know how he does with other dogs or cats. If there are other dogs in the home, a meet and greet is highly encouraged prior to adoption to ensure a good fit. Tucker's adoption fee is $125 and includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, boosters to date, and heartworm test. He will need to return to Rockwall Adoptions on Wednesday 05/27/26 for his scheduled heartworm test and rabies vaccination appointment. If you are interested in adopting Tucker, please complete an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
