Lilly the Mixed Breed 's Story
Arriving January 30th!
Lily is a devoted mama dog whose journey to safety began after a difficult change in her life. Following the deterioration of a relationship, Lily was forced out of her home and left to survive on her own. While living outdoors, she became pregnant and later gave birth to her puppies in the woods, doing everything she could to keep them safe.
A kind Good Samaritan noticed Lily repeatedly stopping by their home to eat food left out for stray cats. Curious and concerned, they followed her and discovered her puppies hidden nearby. Thanks to their compassion and quick action, they reached out to our rescue partner in Texas, and Lily and her entire family were brought to safety. Lily has proven to be a loving, resilient mother, and she is now ready to begin her next chapter — one filled with stability, care, and the love she has always deserved.
She enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs.
She is working on her potty training in Texas, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home.
She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.
She will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, January 30th, and will be available to meet, and take home if she is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below.
Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday January 30th. If upon meeting, she is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable.
We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding his forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog.
