Story
Duke is a loving guy who weighs just under 70lbs.  He is a sweetheart.  Shy at first but once he opens his heart, he will totally capture yours! His playfulness and energy does not show his age.  He's still got all the pep in his step and loves to play!  Tug of War is his favorite game.  He loves to chase balls and zoom around the yard like a puppy at times.  Duke loves sunbathing, walks great on a leash and does well in the car.  Snacks are definately one of his favoritest things ever. Duke is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands and even does well getting his nails done and visiting the vet.He is very treat and toy motivated and it brings him much joy to make his humans happy! NO CATS or small animals for Duke please.  He does well with other, friendly dogs with slow introduction.  He can have intense, playful energy but for the right dog, would make a great companion.  Duke would also be more than happy being the only pet in the home.  Duke prefers older (if any) children.  The "chaos" that sometimes comes with smaller children in a home, make him nervous and he will try to get away from them.  He does great with older or more experienced children. He loves to share the bed with his people, and will always let you know if there is a stranger at the gate or someone at the door!  Duke is big, strong and often clumsy, but he is also a love and a joy to spend time with. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.  Duke is heartworm negative and on ProHeart 12 for heartworm prevention. He is totally set until November 2025! Story
Suzy is the best dog we’ve ever had and it hurts our hearts to be looking for a new home. Our son has developed severe allergies and it is no longer healthy to have her in the same home. She is 2.5 years old and a great family dog. She loves playing with our 2 year old and lets him climb all over her. She is crate trained and would do best in a home with a large fenced yard and lots of exercise. Suzy is friendly - she’s never met a person she didn’t like, and energetic. Once she gets her energy out she’ll sleep for hours and snuggle up to you! She would make the best addition to any home or without kids. She can be a bit territorial (only with my husband and I) near her food but has no problem with our son or other dogs. She has experience being boarded and got along great on a home of more than 4 or 5 dogs for extended periods of time.

Meet Baker!! Baker is an 8 year old tri-pawd, but don’t let that fool you! He still has plenty of energy and loves to play! Baker originally came to us from a local animal shelter after being hit by a car and sustaining an injury to his front leg, causing it to be amputated. He has fully healed from his ordeal and doesn’t even miss his leg! Baker still has a good amount of energy and LOVES to use his brain for training. He can be pushy if he thinks he could get away with it, so an owner that can be a strong leader that sets boundaries is a must. Otherwise, he is like a kid and will try to run the show:)! Baker gets along great with other dogs and has lived well with cats. Baker is VERY smart, and knows all his basic commands, such a good boy! He is a big snuggle bug, too! He loves to get his belly rubbed and says “thank you” with the sweetest puppy dog eyes! He is crate trained and potty trained as well. Baker is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. Izzie is a very sweet, smart, and active girl. She is a medium girl who would benefit from a family committed to taking her on long daily walks (she walks very well on a leash), playing fetch and other games, teaching her commands, and training her to be her best self. She currently lives in a foster home with a much smaller dog, and does well with him, but any small dog home should be discussed because of their size difference. She hasn’t been around cats but I think she’d see them like she sees bunnies - as something to chase.
