PLEASE HELP MILEY — FOSTER TO ADOPT  Found on the side of the road in Douglas County, Miley was tiny, starving, and sick with coccidia when a kind-hearted couple stopped, scooped her up, and rushed her to the vet. Sadly, they couldn’t keep her—but thanks to them, and now our rescue, Miley is safe. Miley is a 3-month-old, TINY 4-pound kitten with 20 pounds of personality! She is ADORABLE in every sense of the word—a little talker, devoted lap-sitter, and a neck-cuddling lovebug. She absolutely adores people and is not shy about it. Right now, Miley is very lonely, which breaks our hearts—she should be growing up with a mom cat and siblings. Our rescue does not currently have other kittens, so we are urgently seeking a FOSTER-TO-ADOPT home WITH another kitten who can be her companion. Meet Texas Pete (Action Superstar) Texas Pete — The Spicy Superstar! 5 months old - Silky & shiny fur - Brave, brilliant, and full of heart Meet Texas Pete, the little cowboy with a big personality and a heart of gold. He and his siblings found themselves, through no fault of their own, in a rural shelter facing euthanasia. But fate (and a quick rescue mission!) had other plans. We pulled them just in time, and Texas Pete has been showing everyone what it means to make the most of a second chance. At first, he and his siblings were shy, unsure of what to make of humans. But Pete, ever the brave one, was the first to decide that people aren’t so bad after all. His confidence helped the others come out of their shells, too, he’s that natural leader everyone loves to follow. Now, Texas Pete is a certified superstar. He’s playful, energetic, and the first to come running the moment you pick up a feather toy. He’s always ready to show off his ninja jumps — yes, the kind that defy gravity — and he’s convinced he should be working as a professional action model. I took her in when we discovered she was pregnant. Since then, I have had the joy of watching them grow into loving kittens. Black - The Purr Machine! I found this little guy on my porch 2 years ago when he was a kitten, about 8 weeks out. Someone had just let him out so we had to take him in, obviously. He's been a good companion. Loves to sleep on your lap, in bed, and is generally outgoing and curious. He likes other cats as well, and wants to play. I am taking a new job in a couple of months that involves a deployment for 2-4 years. And as a result, I can't take him with me to the base. I don't have any friends or family who can take him in either. So I just want to make sure he ends up in a good home before I leave. Preferably with at least one more cat for him to play with.
