Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I am a bundle of joy!UPDATE:I was adopted out in the beginning of May.  I thought everything was good.  I was loving and I behaved greatly.  Suddenly one day almost two months later the lady I called mom, stuffed me in a carrier and took me to a pet store that I never been to and she dumped me.   Threw me outside the store like I was trash and left me loose to fend for myself.  I was sooo scared.  I couldn't figure out why.   I was a good girl.   That witch just left me to die.  I've never had to look for food before.  OMG I was frightened.  I found my way to the back of the store area.  I found they the store puts opened food in the trash.  I ate some of that.  I also ate bugs.  There were terrible storms. I found cover and did my best to stay dry.  Why did this heartless person do this to me? My first mom found out I was loose after I'd been out a couple of days.   The ladies in the group I was from began to come out daily at different hours.  My mom went out three nights.  I came out one night and a store employee saw me and they called and said I was sighted. But alas, I heard them out that night but I was too scared.  Wait 2 of  these crazy ladies came back the next night.. they were there for hours.  Silly me, I had moved down to another store to get shelter in.   Wait, this time they saw me.  One of the nice ladies called my name I was too scared to let her get me.  The other nice lady called my name repeatedly.  Finally I gave in.  I cried out, I'm here!  I was up in a hole in the building at a loading dock.  That lady climbed under a trailer and reached in that hole and scooped me up.  I did not resist.  I was finally safe and I knew it.. after a cry fest because we were all happy, they took me to get scanned..ITS ME, ITS REALLY ME!They called my mom at 12:30 and she cried with happy tears!  I was going back to my foster home!I am back home in the house I got started it.  I still love laying in a sink while Mom gets ready for work.  I still love climbing up in moms lap. My foster mom waited a bit before writing my story.  She wanted to make sure I'm good, and I am.  But Mom is gonna be extra scrutinizing on the next person looking to adopt me.   BUT I'M WORTH IT. Hi my name is Xena! I showed up at the vet's clinic one day with a really bad upper respiratory infection. Docs that took me in gave me lots of love and medicine and made me all better.I made it to my foster home and there are lots of kittens and cats to play with. I'm kind of shy so I have to get used to all of this. My mommy makes sure that I have a friend staying with me every night so I don't sleep by myself. This helps me to get out of my shell. I am a super sweet girl. I love to purr. I am curious I love to play. In the mornings when my mom is getting ready for work, I love to play in the sink next to her. Please consider giving me an opportunity and adopt one of my friends with me too so I'm not all by myself!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 7, 2025, 4:54 pm

Story
Meet Heidy, a kitten that's a bundle of joy! Her personality is a delightful mix of sweet, friendly, curious, and playful. She's known to charm everyone she meets with her endearing antics. Heidy gets along wonderfully with other cats, making her a great addition if you have other feline friends at home. However, she prefers to keep her paws on the ground and isn't too fond of being picked up. Despite this, she's always up for a good play session or a friendly chat. Heidy is waiting for a loving home where she can continue to explore, play, and make new friends. Adopting Heidy means gaining a loyal companion who will fill your home with happiness and warmth.

Story
Affectionate, friendly, lap catVery sweet and affectionate boy. Milo is quiet, calm and enjoy being loved by his human. He likes lap time, hungs and kisses. The best napping buddy A little timid towards new people but gets along well with sweet cats. Milo was adopted and loved as kitten. Unfortunately, his human dad had to return Milo to the rescue group because of allergies of his new partner. The world has turned upside-down for poor Milo, sadly also also struggles to adjust to a foster home with other cats. Contact us to Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com if you feel could help Milo to find his forever family.February 3, 2025, 8:06 pm

Story
Hi, I am Juan Camilo, very lovely and affectionate young boy. I love human attention, purring and chirping when I am happy. I was living as stray cat and showed at a nice lady's front door few weeks ago. She thought I was a feral cat and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Retun) me. I kept coming to her door for food every night until the cold weather and the storm forced me to show my sweet personality. The nice lady brought me inside when saw I was shivering cold. It turned out, I am a friendly cat when I feel safe and loved. Now I follow her everywhere and I even let her put a sweater on me . Do I look adorable on my red sweater? Aren't my eyes asking for love and cuddles? I could definitely be your Valentine for life! contact my human at Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com for more information about me. I am neutered and vaccinated and now ready to find a forever home. I don't plan to come back to the street life. Let me know if you are interested on giving me a permanent home indoors. Sadly nobody in the neighborhood has claimed me as theirs yet.March 13, 2025, 8:25 pm

Story
Playful, funny, kittenHi, my name is Marcel! I am a young beautiful house panther with lots of love to give. I enjoy the company of humans but I prefer playing with my foster siblings. I will make a fantastic companion cat and a family member. I am fully vetted: spayed, FeLV&FIV negative, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I was dumped at a colony of stray cats as a kitten, I am little nervous of new humans sometimes and then play 'catch me if you can' with the human but when they catch me, then I melt in their arms. If you are interested in adopting me, please contact my foster family at Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.comFebruary 3, 2025, 8:06 pm
