Looking for a confident, charming companion to brighten your days? Meet Star, a handsome 4-year-old cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart.Adoption Application:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatStar came to Roses Rescue after his owner fell on hard times and made the difficult, selfless decision to prioritize Star's well-being. While that change was hard, Star has adjusted beautifully and is ready to find a new family to call his own. This friendly guy loves to explore his surroundings and is always curious about what's happening around him. Whether he's chasing a laser pointer, batting at an automatic toy, or perched high above the room keeping an eye on things, Star likes to stay involved. In fact, he considers himself the household manager and takes his supervisory duties very seriously!Star loves enjoying his outdoor time. He walks wonderfully on a leash (check out his video!) and enjoys safely exploring the world alongside his people.Star has previously lived with both dogs and cats and is comfortable sharing his home with other respectful pets. He enjoys companionship but also appreciates having a high perch to oversee the daily operations of the household. If you're looking for a confident, affectionate cat who will keep you company on adventures and then supervise your activities from the highest spot in the house, Star is the perfect addition for your family.Apply to meet Star today and let this shining star light up your home! Star does great with kids, dogs, and other cats. He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and has great litterbox habits._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _Location & TransportStar is currently in Houston, Texas, but can be transported to the Northeast and Pacific Northwest, or cities along the route.Adoption Application:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Story
Meet Tofu, a chunky little cuddle bug who deserves the BEST life indoors with lots of love!IMPORTANT INFO:- Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat- ROSES Rescues is located in Houston, TX. We transport our kitties to adopters in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest! **Cost is included in Adoption Fee.**- Tofu's adoption fee is $315.- With proper introductions Tofu may do well with another cat (better with males than females) or a calm and respectful pup. She would be fantastic as an only cat or if adopted with one of her kittens.---Tofu was found on the streets of Houston with her two kittens (Bean and Edamame, also adoptable). They were all initially supposed to be trapped, fixed, and returned to their outdoor colony, but Tofu and her babies were way too friendly to be put back out on the street! Despite having been outdoors for the first year or two of her life, Tofu was the first to really enjoy the luxuries of an indoor life. She immediately started purring every time she saw Her Humans walk by, and it was obvious that she wanted nothing but love and a lap to snuggle on!Per her finder/foster: We suspect she didn't have the easiest life prior to being rescued, and she likely had many, many litters of kittens before Bean and Edamame. We're just glad to help be part of Tofu's journey to a forever home in a much better place!!Tofu is a pretty big cat at almost 13 lbs, but that just means there is more of her to love. She is extremely affectionate with humans and is always seeking out attention (and food of course). We haven't tried it yet, but given how food-motivated she is, you might even be able to train her to do a few tricks!---Tofu is ~1.5-3 years old (it's very hard to pin down an exact age!), in great health, spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home!Adopt Tofu (and maybe one of her adorable kittens!), and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun.---The adoption application can be found here:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatTofu and her kittens are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes (cost is included in adoption fee).———ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. Story
Larry (Moe, Curly)'s Story Meet Curly, Moe & Larry 🖤🖤🖤 These handsome boys were found alone at an apartment complex — hungry, covered in fleas, and trying to survive on their own. Thankfully, someone noticed how sweet and social they were and reached out for help. Now they’re safe in foster care and getting ready for the next chapter of their lives. At about 4 months old, Curly, Moe, and Larry are playful, affectionate, and full of kitten energy. They love attention, enjoy being around people, and are always ready for fun and adventure. Despite their rough start, they have remained incredibly loving little guys. They will be ready for their forever homes in early June, and ideally we would love to see them adopted in pairs so they can continue growing up together. They also have a female kitten (Brisa) friend the same age who isn’t part of the litter but has become part of their foster family and will be available as well. If you’re looking for sweet, social kittens to add joy and entertainment to your home, these boys may be the perfect match. Story
LOVES TO BE HELD AND SLEEP WITH HIS HOOMANS  DOB 3/15/26 Hey there, everyone! I’m Mochi, a very outgoing, cute, and cuddly Bombay mix fella who loves to be held and to sleep in bed with Foster Meowmy. Bombay mixes are often called Velcro cats because we like to stick so close to our people. When I’m not soaking up attention from my hoomans or playing with my siblings, I like to crawl in a nice cardboard box or climb up on the top of the cat tree to watch the world go by. As the solo big brother of my litter, I’m curious and fearless, so I love to explore around the house. Foster Meowmy first encountered me huddled in a box in the PetSmart Pearland parking lot when she met a lady who was trying to give away my sisters, Miso and Mango, and me for free. Knowing how vulnerable to danger we were if we ended up in the wrong hands – especially me as a black cat -- Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate and brought us to the safe haven of her home. We have so much fun living the carefree kitten life by tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling with each other. Plus I’m ecstatic at the plethora of toys at my disposal. I take my playing seriously and get so excited with my toys that I often growl at them. I get along great with the other foster kittens and resident cats, and I’m still acclimating to the friendly dogs by mostly ignoring them. Now I’m ready to bring my swarthy good looks, i.e. sleek, shiny coat and copper-penny eyes, and my winsome personality to enliven my forever home. Could that be you? Although we’re available separately, consider adopting me with Miso or Mango. It’d be the cat’s meow if we could be energetic playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today so you can experience my sweet, friendly temperament for yourself. HOPE ID 26-0502-C024 Mochi’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Mochi will be this weekend, email us at nancy.e.kline@hotmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
EASY-GOING LOVEBUG  DOB 9/1/21 Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/ Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My momma Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful. My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds.  Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station! https://photos.app.goo.gl/9LhdD26NmAhzMUtGA HOPE ID 21-1204-C089 Indy's $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
Ozzy is a sweet, shy cat who has recently developed some behavioral issues with our female cat and now female dog. He isnt one to be held much or look for attention but he has his moments. Unfortunately his attacks on the female cat is leaving her without a safe space of her own and scared to come out from a corner in our living room. We will provide toys that he plays with, a laser automatic toy, and his food bowl as well.
