Story
Affectionate, gentle, big and tall, friendlyEstimated date of birth 5/15/2015 I am big and tall boy; a gentle giant that gets along with other cats at my foster home. I like attention, am used to human kisses and hugs and purr a lot in return to human affection. I was left behind after Hurricane Harvey, nobody claimed me as their pet, so I was taken to a foster home where I live while looking for a lovable family that appreciate me. By the way, I also have a girlfriend that is big and tall too. Check out Alexa in this website too. We both get a long well and like to groom each other before bed time. Contact my foster mom by email to Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com if you want more information about me.March 26, 2024, 3:12 pm

INDEPENDENT & INQUISITIVE  DOB 8/25/21 Hello everyone! I’m Elsa, a sweet, stunningly beautiful black DSH/ Bombay mix with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. I’m independent and very inquisitive. I’m initially shy but am so food-driven that I always nudge closer to my foster meowmy for a good treat. I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. I can also entertain myself because I love balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys. Plus I’m very comfortable around the dogs and other cats in my foster home. Hopefully you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, 'A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere.' I’m so grateful that I was rescued into a foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I’d like nothing better than for you to open your heart and home to me. I’ll need patience and time to come out of my shell in my new digs, but it will be worth the effort! I’m one little black panther who’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart HOPE ID 22-0219-G022 If you are interested in Elsa and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net and a volunteer will get back to you. EASY-GOING LOVEBUG  DOB 9/1/21 Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/ Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My mom Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful. My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds. I hope you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere." I’m so glad that I came to my HOPE foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability. Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station! https://photos.app.goo.gl/9LhdD26NmAhzMUtGA HOPE ID 21-1204-C089 If you are interested in Indy and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. LOVES TO PLAY FETCH  DOB: 7/9/22 You there! You!  I'm Trudy!  I'm the life of the party! This house will be BORING without me. Explore my awesomeness. I LOVE to fetch! I NEED fetch play time. I'll bring you my toys to get you to play fetch. Right now I'm at a 100% launch rate to go get it. I'm currently at a 90% retrieval rate on the little yellow moon and 70% on the fruit mice. I have a toy budget of $8 a month, so you'll need to keep my toy money in the black in order to adopt me. Sometimes I like to get crazy and try to take a shower with you. I like the clear vinyl shower curtain liners so I can see why in the world you're in the water! Then I might need to climb the outer cloth shower curtain just because I'm entertaining like that. Either way you need a sturdy shower curtain. I'm absolutely delightful, and everything I do is cute. I love people, but I'm especially good at pestering the older cats. They hate it, but I don't care! I make them play with me. I can be a little talker when it comes to play time or food; other than that I'm pretty quiet.     HOPE ID 22-0827-A036 If you are interested in Trudy and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you. SHY ROMANTIC GUY  DOB 9/10/22 Looking for a bedfellow? One who won't take all the blankets or infringe on your personal space? Bagheera, which is Hindi for "panther," may be the guy for you. He's extremely shy and will take time to adjust to your home, but once he does, he'll be your constant companion. He won't ask for much but will want to be with you and occasionally sit in your lap. His second favorite place to rest is on an ottoman or in a cardboard box. Are you a patient, caring person? Bagheera would love to meet you. SHY, AFFECTIONATE GUY  DOB 9/10/22 Looking for a low-maintenance kitty? One who doesn't ask for much, but gives so much in return? Then Mowgli's your guy. This sweetheart loves any and all cat toys. In fact he can turn anything into a toy...a paper bag, a cardboard box, a balled up piece of paper, or a bottle cap. You get the idea. Mowgli also is a shadow cat who will follow you from room to room, not necessarily needing attention, but just loves to be with his person. Mowgli doesn't necessarily like to be picked up, but he will come over and sit in your lap. Come meet Mowgli soon. Story
We found her sheltering from the cold back in November when she was about 4 months old. She’s a beautiful, sweet, and loving cat. We simply couldn’t get our two older cats to get along with her so we are looking for a new home for her where she can flourish. Thank you for your time and let me know if you have any questions.
