READY TO PERK UP YOUR DAY WITH HER LIVELINESS  DOB 4/17/26 Hey there, everyone! I am Java, a gentle, outgoing, and affectionate Bombay mix gal who got my name because my dark coloring resembles coffee and because of my lively personality. I thrive on being held, cuddled, and stroked by all ages of my hooman family. I curl up on Foster Daddy‘s chest while we watch YouTube videos on his phone. When Foster Meowmy opens the door, I scamper up to greet her in hopes that it is time to play or be petted. When she is in bed, I cuddle on top of her wherever I can find a cozy spot. Plus I am mellow enough to play gently with the 5- and 7-year-old kids in the family. My busy foster home includes an adult male cat and a small senior dog, and I get along great with them too. I am so confident, easygoing, and adaptable that I have already had a blast on a family road trip to San Antonio, where I quickly settled into my new accommodations. My feral momma birthed my twin brother Joe and me on an apartment balcony, but -- thank heavens -- Foster Meowmy trapped our momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home when I was about two weeks old. About a week later, an orphaned ticked-tabby fella who was a week younger than Joe and me was introduced to our momma, and she lovingly accepted him as one of her own. Suddenly I had a new brother named Mocha! The three of us have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I am ready to become your affectionate best friend who will provide endless cuddles and playtime antics to brighten my forever home. Although we are available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if Joe could be adopted with me. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you are at work or on vacation. Remember that there is nothing like a little “java” to perk up your day!  Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 26-0529-M052 Java’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Java will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
LOVES CHASING WAND TOYS AND SLURPING CHURUS!  DOB 4/29/26 Hey there, everyone! Named for being itsy-bitsy with a sleek, shiny black coat, I’m Ant, an affectionate, cuddly, and playful Bombay mix fella who enjoys curling up beside Foster Meowmy for naps and rewards her gentle pets with loud, happy purrs. As the runt of my litter, I’m still building my confidence, but I’ve come a long way since I first arrived in my foster home. Foster Mom knew that it would take time and patience for me to learn to trust her. With her gentle voice and affectionate touch, she showed me that I was securely loved, and --voilà! -- now my sweet personality is shining through! You see, I had a rough start in life. My feral momma birthed my siblings, Ladybug and Caterpillar, and me in the patio closet of a vacant apartment where Foster Meowmy feeds a colony of community cats. When we were just five weeks old, she trapped Momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home. Once we were weaned and eating on our own, Momma was spayed and returned to her outdoor home. This ensures that she will never raise another litter in the summer heat. At first I felt very tiny and vulnerable in my new indoor domain, but Foster Meowmy endeared herself by teasing me with string toys and rewarding me with Churus treats! I’ve been raised with young children (ages 5 and 7), other cats, and a small senior dog, and I’ve done well with everyone. The dog never bothered me at all! Of course, I have a blast with Ladybug and Caterpillar, a.k.a. the #kloset-kittens, as we tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and then collapse in a kitten puddle when we’re exhausted. Now I’m ready to share my gentle, loving disposition, playful spirit, and “purr-full” cuddling expertise with my forever family – including well-behaved dogs, cats, and kids. Just keep in mind that in my new domain I may need your gentle patience by allowing me to settle in at my own pace. With time, I’m sure to blossom into my best self – Bombay cats are renown for being Velcro cats who stick close to their hoomans. Although we’re available separately, it’d be the cat’s meow if you’d adopt me with Caterpillar so we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart! HOPE ID 26-0701-G121                                                                                 Ant’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Meet Nibbles—one of the Bellaire Backyard Bumpkittens! I'm a snuggle bunny and calm monkey. Found in a Bellaire backyard during a rainstorm with my siblings, we've happily traded rakes for cat toys, cozy naps, endless food, and lots of love. I adore people and furry friends. I am an expert in blanket biscuits and soothing purrs. I am known for my lap snuggles/naps, but can still hold my own during playtime. I wear the cutest white bib that keeps me clean during mealtime and shine with sophistication during relaxation. And I frequently fall asleep on my foster mom, so happy that my cute little tongue will stick out ;)D. Check out my siblings—Nugget, Beanie, and Pipsqueak! We'd love to be adopted in pairs, or I'd be happy to join a home with another friendly fur-ball. -Reach out ASAP to meet one (or two!) of us. -Visit us at PetSmart (2902 S Shepherd Dr), Sat & Sun, 11:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

BIG PERSONALITY AND GIGANTIC LOVE OF CUDDLES  DOB 4/17/26 Hey there, everyone! I am Joe, an outgoing and playful Bombay mix fella who got my name because my dark coat resembles coffee and because of my lively temperament. I have a big personality and an even bigger love for snuggles. My loud purr lets everyone know just how happy I am when they cuddle and pet me. I curl up on Foster Daddy‘s chest while we watch YouTube videos on his phone. When Foster Meowmy opens the door, I scamper up to greet her in hopes that it is time to play or to petted. When she is in bed, I climb all over her for attention before I settle down to snuggle on top of her wherever I can find a cozy spot. My busy foster home includes 5- and 7- year old kids, an adult male cat, and a small senior dog, and I get along great with all of them. True confessions: like most kittens, I can get a little carried away during playtime, so I may overwhelm very young children or anyone unfamiliar with normal kitten antics. I am so confident, easygoing, and adaptable that I have already had a blast on a family road trip to San Antonio, where I quickly settled into my new accommodations. My feral momma birthed my twin sister Java and me on an apartment balcony, but -- thank heavens -- Foster Meowmy trapped our momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home when I was about two weeks old. About a week later, an orphaned ticked-tabby fella, who was a week younger than Java and me, was introduced to our momma, and she lovingly accepted him as one of her own. Suddenly I had a new brother named Mocha! The three of us have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I am ready to become your energetic best friend who is equal parts affectionate and playful, and I assure you that I will bring both love and laughter to my forever home. Although we are available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if Java could be adopted with me. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you are at work or on vacation. Remember that there is nothing like a little “morning joe” to perk up your day! Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 26-0529-M053 Joe’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. LOVES TO GIVE FACE KISSES AND SLEEP BETWEEN YOUR LEGS  DOB 9/21/24        Hey there, everyone! Named after Daphne Blake of the Mystery Gang in Scooby Do, I’m Daphne, a sweet, petite, cuddly, and playful Bombay mix gal who enjoys giving face kisses and sleeping between people’s legs as well as playing chase with other kitties. As Foster Meowmy testifies -- I’m the perfect mix of snuggly affection and kinetic energy! I love all animals – dogs and cats – as long as we’ve been properly introduced. I’m initially shy when I first meet people, but then I become very talkative and friendly once we get acquainted. When I’m not running around the house, in my solitary moments I love to perch in the front window so that I can observe people passing before me. Foster Meowmy trapped my pregnant feral momma and brought her to the safe haven of Meowmy’s home, where Momma birthed my sister Velma and me. Unfortunately Momma had ringworm, which she passed onto Velma and me, and it spread to all of the pets and hoomans in the whole house. Since it took months and months for everyone to get clear of the ringworm, Velma and I got a late start getting ready to be adopted. Now I’m ready to bring my beautiful, tiny, and snuggly self to sprinkle my forever family with joy and laughter. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Although we’re available separately, Velma and I think that it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together as a legacy to Scooby Do's Mystery Gang. That way we could be playmates and snuggle buddies while you're at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 24-1109-C129 Daphne’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. FEARLESS AND RELENTLESS  DOB 3/14/26  Hey there, everyone! I’m Dumpling, an affectionate, friendly, and playful Bombay mix fella with a pale, feathery “locket” at my neck and fluffy wisps of silver hairs on my legs. I tend to be the fearless, energetic, mischievous leader of my pack , a.k.a. the #Bellaire-quartet. A Good Samaritan called Foster Meowmy for help after she found my litter only one day after our feral momma, whom she’d been feeding, had birthed us. Foster Meowmy ended up trapping our nursing momma and bringing all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of her home. Momma doted on us and passed on good manners to all of us for six weeks, but, because she never “tamed up” to hoomans, Foster Meowmy got her spayed and released her to rejoin her cat mates at her old stomping grounds. Our hooman family had handled us from the beginning, and the three resident cats became our surrogate aunts and uncles, so, since we were weaned, we were not devastated to tell Momma goodbye – only happy that she is happy again. Foster Meowmy describes me as “brave and relentless” because I have so much confidence and stamina. I’m curious, so when I find myself in a new environment, I sniff it out and then scamper off the play with my siblings. Sake, Tini, Tuna, and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I’m ready to display my bravado and swagger to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise that we’ll fall head over paws in love with each other the instant we meet! Although we’re available separately, please consider adopting the #Bellaire-quartet in pairs so that we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID# 26-0711-A045 Dumpling’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
