Story
🎾🐾 MEET COCO — AKA “ACE”! 🐾🎾 I’m Coco, but you can call me Ace. I was found by the tennis courts, looking for a practice buddy. Lucky for me, a girl came along, tucked me into her tennis bag, and then rode home with me snuggled in her lap. 🎾👜💕 I’m a super sweet, friendly little girl—not shy at all! I’ll run right up to you, happily let you pick me up, and settle in for some serious cuddles. I have the cutest little chirps when I want attention. I am also a total purr-master—purring up a storm when being held and petted. Sometimes I even purr when I play or you even look my way. 🥰 But when I play? Watch out! I’ve got court coverage like Coco Gauff and a backhand mouse toss that’s second to none. 🐭🎾 My court antics are worth the price of admission! Tennis fan? Looking for a practice partner for life? 🎾 Game. Set. Adopt! Reach out now for your new best doubles partner! See me at Petsmart 2902 S Shepherd Dr Sat and Sun 1130-4p.

READY TO PERK UP YOUR DAY WITH HER LIVELINESS  DOB 4/17/26 Hey there, everyone! I am Java, a gentle, outgoing, and affectionate Bombay mix gal who got my name because my dark coloring resembles coffee and because of my lively personality. I thrive on being held, cuddled, and stroked by all ages of my hooman family. I curl up on Foster Daddy‘s chest while we watch YouTube videos on his phone. When Foster Meowmy opens the door, I scamper up to greet her in hopes that it is time to play or be petted. When she is in bed, I cuddle on top of her wherever I can find a cozy spot. Plus I am mellow enough to play gently with the 5- and 7-year-old kids in the family. My busy foster home includes an adult male cat and a small senior dog, and I get along great with them too. I am so confident, easygoing, and adaptable that I have already had a blast on a family road trip to San Antonio, where I quickly settled into my new accommodations. My feral momma birthed my twin brother Joe and me on an apartment balcony, but -- thank heavens -- Foster Meowmy trapped our momma and brought our little family to the safe haven of her home when I was about two weeks old. About a week later, an orphaned ticked-tabby fella who was a week younger than Joe and me was introduced to our momma, and she lovingly accepted him as one of her own. Suddenly I had a new brother named Mocha! The three of us have so much fun tumbling and pouncing, climbing and wrestling, and when we are exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. Now I am ready to become your affectionate best friend who will provide endless cuddles and playtime antics to brighten my forever home. Although we are available separately, it would be the cat’s meow if Joe could be adopted with me. We could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you are at work or on vacation. Remember that there is nothing like a little “java” to perk up your day!  Arrange to meet me today! HOPE ID 26-0529-M052 Java’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Java will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
Meet the Magical Menagerie Six spectacularly magical kittens were discovered living in an abandoned house. All black or mostly black, these little whiskered wizards have proven that you don't need a Hogwarts letter to possess a little magic. Fun, cuddly, curious, and positively enchanting, their soothing purrs are powerful enough to heal even the darkest of souls. Make no mistake: these six are Purrwart students in their own right. Sirius — black M. The goofball. Expect couch cuddles and the cutest kitten hops during play. Percy — black M. A tad shy at first, but once you hold or pet me, I melt—and purrminate my way straight into your heart. Potter — tuxedo M. Brave little leader. Social, adventurous, and somehow always at the center of the action and attention. Hermione — tortie F. Adopted! Lovegood — dignified, playful, wonderfully snuggly, purrful motor. I have it all! Minerva — the sweet and dreamy one. I am the shyest at first but one of the sweetest. Enough purr-magic to brighten any home. So skip the Sorting Hat and adopt your very own whiskered wizard today! Reach out now! Or see us at Petsmart (2902 S Shepherd Dr) Sat & Sun 1130-4p.

Meet Lovegood, a super sweet kitten with magical charm, cuddly spirit, and fabulous purr! Found with my siblings in an abandoned, rickety old house, I never let the rough start dim my sparkle. I am more mellow compared to my rowdy brothers, but I can still hold my own at play. Just be ready for couch cuddles and make room for me to crawl in your chest to rest. Playful? Absolutely. Spunky? You bet. Chin and cheek rubs? Listen to my soul soothing purr! Wrestling with my siblings? Bring it! I love pets, play and couch cuddles. I am popular with everyone and would be a fabulous companion for both humans and furry friends. I am wise beyond my years — hence the white whiskers! I also know how to work the room. Let my little Luna Lovegood magical purr and fun sprinkle your heart and home for years to come. Come find your new magical sidekick. I will be waiting by the front door! -Reach out ASAP. -See me at Petsmart (2902 S Shepherd) Sat & Sun 1130-4p.

LOVES TO GIVE FACE KISSES AND SLEEP BETWEEN YOUR LEGS  DOB 9/21/24        Hey there, everyone! Named after Daphne Blake of the Mystery Gang in Scooby Do, I’m Daphne, a sweet, petite, cuddly, and playful Bombay mix gal who enjoys giving face kisses and sleeping between people’s legs as well as playing chase with other kitties. As Foster Meowmy testifies -- I’m the perfect mix of snuggly affection and kinetic energy! I love all animals – dogs and cats – as long as we’ve been properly introduced. I’m initially shy when I first meet people, but then I become very talkative and friendly once we get acquainted. When I’m not running around the house, in my solitary moments I love to perch in the front window so that I can observe people passing before me. Foster Meowmy trapped my pregnant feral momma and brought her to the safe haven of Meowmy’s home, where Momma birthed my sister Velma and me. Unfortunately Momma had ringworm, which she passed onto Velma and me, and it spread to all of the pets and hoomans in the whole house. Since it took months and months for everyone to get clear of the ringworm, Velma and I got a late start getting ready to be adopted. Now I’m ready to bring my beautiful, tiny, and snuggly self to sprinkle my forever family with joy and laughter. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave tiny paw prints all over your heart. Although we’re available separately, Velma and I think that it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together as a legacy to Scooby Do's Mystery Gang. That way we could be playmates and snuggle buddies while you're at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 24-1109-C129 Daphne’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. THE LITTLE TEDDY BEAR WITH THE BIG HEART  DOB 4/6/26 Hey there, everyone! I’m Peluchin, an affectionate and cuddly yet outgoing and energetic Bombay mix fella with a pale feathery “locket” at my neck and with soulful eyes that have a way of making you stop and smile. Peluchin means "stuffed animal" in Spanish, and my moniker couldn't be more perfect. With my incredibly soft, fluffy coat and sweet face, I’m like a little teddy bear whom you can hug, kiss, cuddle, and keep curled up in your lap for hours. I’m a “Velcro cat” who loves people and likes to stick close to you – whether I’m in your lap receiving head massages and belly rubs or if I’m following you around wherever you go. I’ll gently paw at your leg if I need to ask for your attention. But don't let all my cuddling fool you—this little teddy bear has plenty of energy!  I love playing with toys – and carrying them around in my mouth – as well as running, jumping, and exploring.  My momma Noche birthed my brother Pepe and me in the bushes of the apartment complex where Foster Meowmy lives. Pepe and I were only a few days old when Meowmy found my little family and brought all of us, including momma Noche, into the safe haven of her home. I get along great with the other cats in my foster home. I guess you’re wondering why I have special needs. I have an unsteady gait in my back legs as well as occasional difficulties with bladder and bowel control. My vets suspect that I may have a congenital neurological condition that affects my hind quarters. I use the litter box most of the time, but I have occasional accidents that are neurological, not behavioral, in origin. I can also be prone to constipation, but this is managed with an appropriate diet. The vets are still evaluating my condition and recommend ongoing monitoring. I also have a heart murmur. In young kittens, some murmurs can disappear as they grow, while others may remain. An echocardiogram and a cardiology consultation are recommended when I’m 6 to 8 months of age to better understand the cause of the murmur and to determine whether any treatment or special care is needed. Despite all this, I don’t see myself as “special needs.” I see myself as a happy, active, playful, and affectionate kitten who’s full of life and love. I’m looking for a special forever family who will see me as the incredible lap cat, teddy bear, and professional cuddle buddy that I am. I will happily soak up your every hug, kiss, belly rub -- and as much love as you can give me. In return, I’ll bless you with a lifetime of love right back! Some kittens are cute, some are cuddly, and some are playful.  The good news is that I’m all three—and so much more. HOPE ID 26-0701-G117 Peluchin’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. To apply online: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site that Peluchin will be this weekend, email us at sfenicle1@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you.
