Despite having been outdoors for the first year or two of her life, Tofu was the first to really enjoy the luxuries of an indoor life. She immediately started purring every time she saw Her Humans walk by, and it was obvious that she wanted nothing but love and a lap to snuggle on!Per her finder/foster: We suspect she didn't have the easiest life prior to being rescued, and she likely had many, many litters of kittens before Bean and Edamame. She is extremely affectionate with humans and is always seeking out attention (and food of course). EASY-GOING LOVEBUG  DOB 9/1/21 Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/ Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My momma Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful. My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. WHAT AN ADORABLE MINI-PANTHER!  DOB 4/2/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Frankie, and I’m a sweet, friendly, easygoing, and gentle Bombay mix fella who knows my name and comes when Foster Meowmy calls me! I like it when Foster Meowmy holds me when she’s sitting down, but, like a lot of kitties, I’m not crazy about being picked up and carried around. Of course I luxuriate when she scratches my ears, cheeks, and chin. Like most Bombay mixes, I look like a little panther with my sleek, shiny black patent-leather coat and my copper-penny eyes. Foster Meowmy trapped my foster buddy Sweet Peach and me because she thought we were feral kittens, but we ended up being friendly enough for her to keep us inside to try to socialize us instead of releasing us back outdoors. Her efforts panned out, and we tamed up nicely after about a month. Although Sweet Peach and I are not littermates, we are very bonded to each other. We both love to play interactively with Foster Meowmy when she waves the wand toy over our heads or wiggles it around the room like a snake for us to chase. I’m a dominant male, and whereas Sweet Peach thinks I’m wonderful, there’s a good deal of tension when I’m around Foster Meowmy’s resident cats. THRIVES ON HOOMAN & FELINE INTERACTION  DOB 1/1/20 Hey there, everyone! I’m Salem, an easygoing, calm, and very friendly Bombay mix fella who thrives on hooman attention and affection. My very outgoing personality allows me to play host when visitors come over as I insist on interacting with everyone. My attentiveness surprises and flatters them, so not surprisingly, I'm a bit hit at parties. I can be somewhat of a Velcro cat as I love being near my foster pawrents, so I can often be found snuggling in someone’s lap or next to them on their bed. I was a friendly neighborhood stray who "came with the house" that Foster Meowmy’s daughter bought. She figured I’d been someone’s pet who’d been abandoned when my owner moved away. Someone had neutered and released me (hence, my clipped left ear), but when she invited me inside, I graciously accepted and assimilated easily with her resident cats. Unfortunately a few years later she needed to move and couldn’t take me with her. Thankfully Foster Meowmy stepped up to foster me until I could find a new home through HOPE. Again, I fit in comfortably with her other foster kitties, and we have a grand time playing and sleeping together. Now I’m in the market for a forever family who, in turn, is looking for an outgoing, laid-back, and handsome gent with a shiny, patent-leather coat on the outside and lots of love to go around on the inside. Meet Scoobie!! This handsome guy and his best bud Jimmy Jr. are searching for their forever home in the new year!!! He loves to play with toys and foster siblings. He is a huge fan of sleeping in dog beds or large cat beds with his best buddy Jimmy Jr.. When the mood strikes him, he will zip up and down the halls chasing balls or other rolling toys. At night both boys will join their people on the bed for cuddles. If you are looking for a cat who truly adores people, Chester is you guy.
