Story
Zebbie found us in a parking lot during a snow day. She had a bad scar on her back where hair no longer grows, but vets have insured us that it is a clean, painless, and “healthy” scar. Zebbie clearly had a hard life out in the wild as a kitten, and it shows with how easily she can get spooked. Zebbie lovesss to cuddle and could all day. She gets along with dogs but definitely prefers all the attention be on her, only. Zebbie will scratch if she is approached at the wrong angle or just not in the mood, but that doesn’t make her less lovable. Zebbie is a beautiful cat that needs kid-free love and attention.

Story
Affectionate, gentle, big and tall, friendlyEstimated date of birth 5/15/2015 I am big and tall boy; a gentle giant that gets along with other cats at my foster home. I like attention, am used to human kisses and hugs and purr a lot in return to human affection. I was left behind after Hurricane Harvey, nobody claimed me as their pet, so I was taken to a foster home where I live while looking for a lovable family that appreciate me. By the way, I also have a girlfriend that is big and tall too. Check out Alexa in this website too. We both get a long well and like to groom each other before bed time. Contact my foster mom by email to Adoptablecatshouston@gmail.com if you want more information about me.May 18, 2024, 1:11 pm

INDEPENDENT & INQUISITIVE  DOB 8/25/21 Hello everyone! I’m Elsa, a sweet, stunningly beautiful black DSH/ Bombay mix with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. I’m independent and very inquisitive. I’m initially shy but am so food-driven that I always nudge closer to my foster meowmy for a good treat. I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. I can also entertain myself because I love balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys. Plus I’m very comfortable around the dogs and other cats in my foster home. Hopefully you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, 'A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere.' I’m so grateful that I was rescued into a foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I’d like nothing better than for you to open your heart and home to me. I’ll need patience and time to come out of my shell in my new digs, but it will be worth the effort! I’m one little black panther who’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart HOPE ID 22-0219-G022 If you are interested in Elsa and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net and a volunteer will get back to you. EASY-GOING LOVEBUG  DOB 9/1/21 Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/ Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My mom Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful. My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds. I hope you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere." I’m so glad that I came to my HOPE foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability. Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station! https://photos.app.goo.gl/9LhdD26NmAhzMUtGA HOPE ID 21-1204-C089 If you are interested in Indy and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php.
