Story
Chandler is solid black with beautiful gold eyes, like Bombays. He plays hard with his buddy Mousetro for short periods of time and then seeks out affection and cuddles from the foster mom. He is sweet and laid back. He would do well with someone who is home a lot. He hasn't been around dogs or young children. He has been best buddies with Mousetro since they were only weeks old, so we'd like to see them go to the same home. Chandler is currently in a foster home. If you have any questions, please email cowtownpets@gmail.com. If you are interested in applying to adopt Chandler & Mousetro, please submit an online application at cowtownpets.org. Chandler has been neutered and microchipped, shots are up-to-date, had wormer and flea prevention. The adoption fee for the pair is $170 + tax.

Story
I picked up Charley outside of my apartments about a year and a half ago. He was a stray but was immediately super friendly. I let him live with me and I got him neutered and chipped. Since then, I have gotten married and now my wife and I live together with her cat. Charley and her cat do not get along at all. Charley is the aggressor in the situations, and we have not been able to fix the situation. We tried the Jackson Galaxy method but it has not worked. He is an amazing and loveable cat…just not with other cats. He comes up and will snuggle with any human though. He is a big foodie and enjoys a variety of foods. You will also need to be comfortable with Charley cuddling with you constantly. He loves to be on you or near you as well. We would love for Charley to find an amazing person or family that can appreciate him the way we do, but ideally not have other animals. That is unless you are very experienced. We think Charley is about 3 years old.

Story
This sweet girl's name is Voodoo. I got her when she was just a tiny kitten. She will be 8 years old in March. She's a very sweet girl but living in a house with other animals has caused her to be very stressed out. I feel that she will do better in a home with no other dogs, cats or small children. She makes the perfect lap cat and will take all the attention she can get!

Story
Leah is a petite, loving girl who would make the perfect companion. She is about 6 months old (as of January) and 10 pounds. After spending a few months living on the streets, she was lovingly rescued and has fully embraced the cozy indoor cat life she always deserved. Leah is calm, cuddly, and affectionate. She spends much of her day curled up in her foster momâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s lap while she works, happily soaking up attention. Leah loves to be held and doted on, and she greets her people right away with the cutest little chirps whenever they enter the room. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, fully litter box trained, and respectful of furniture. Leah even often comes when you call her! She does great with children and is learning to feel more comfortable around other pets. While she mostly keeps to herself, she would do best as an only pet or with calm, respectful furry siblings who will give her time to warm up. Leah is truly a gentle soul who just wants love, comfort, and a family of her own. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ready to find her forever home. Story
Tres is a sleek, shiny black panther that loves to race across the room, chasing anything from a piece of lint to jumping in a box or leaping in the air to catch a shadow. He's very shy with people but is curious, affectionate and ready for back scratching when he sees me. Tres would do well in most homes, but his new people need to allow him time to adjust. He also might be more comfortable with another cat or small, friendly dog buddy. He is very independent, active and likes to interact with our rat terrier. He puts up with the periodic grooming sessions that the dog believes are needed (the dog thinks she's his groomer). Tres knows when it's chow time and races to the feeding line. He hasn't been exposed to children but would do well as long as they give him time to adjust. I believe he will be a cherished and beautiful pet for a family. Born 5/3/2024 Tres, his siblings and mama were discovered on a patio when the kittens were only a few weeks old. Water and food were put out for them but they were worried the dogs would kill them. They were trapped, neutered and socialized over a few weeks. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
Meet Harlee & Twylite — a bonded pair ready for a lifetime together Harlee is a stunning Bombay/Tortoiseshell sweetheart with a playful spirit and a heart made for connection — and she shares that heart with her best friend, Twylite. At just 1½ years old, Harlee offers the perfect balance of youthful energy and thoughtful affection. She isn’t a cat who immediately seeks attention from everyone — she chooses her people carefully, and once she does, that bond becomes something truly special. Twylite is her steady companion, her comfort, and her constant — and these two are happiest side by side. Harlee’s love language is play. Interactive toys, especially feather wands, are her favorite. Playtime is how she communicates and builds trust; she becomes focused, engaged, and happily animated, showing off her intelligence and curious nature. Twylite is often close by, ready to join in or simply cheer her on. These girls are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. They groom one another, rest together, and find confidence in each other’s presence. Keeping them as a pair ensures they continue to thrive emotionally and socially. Because of Harlee’s gentle temperament, she would do best with a respectful, cat-savvy older child or tween who understands boundaries and enjoys interactive play. They are not a good fit for homes with toddlers or very young children. Harlee and Twylite are indoor-only cats and will thrive in a calm, stable home where they can feel safe and loved. With patience, consistency, and daily interaction, they become loyal and deeply rewarding companions. Harlee is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, FeLV/FIV negative, and has excellent litter box manners. (Twylite is also fully vetted and ready for her forever home.) Their adoption fee is $200 for the pair. Every adoption fee directly supports the lifesaving work of Hill County Paw Pals, a volunteer-run rescue. These funds help provide veterinary care, spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, microchipping, treatment for illness and injury, food, supplies, and foster care for animals in need. Adoption fees also allow Paw Pals to continue rescuing and preparing other cats and kittens for safe, permanent homes. Harlee and Twylite aren’t looking for just any home — they’re looking for a shared future filled with safety, play, and connection. Apply to meet them here: https://hcpawpals.org/cat-adoption-form/ Sometimes the best stories come in pairs — and this one is ready to begin. ** Veterinary references and, in some cases, home checks are part of our adoption process. Paw Pals maintains a firm no-declaw policy, and all cats are placed in loving homes where they can stay safe, healthy, and happy. Paw Pals will consider adoptions outside our immediate area, but we require in-person pick-up to ensure every match begins with a meaningful connection.
