Story
This is Jade! Jade is a silly little boy who's had an interesting life! As a kitten he was raised by my cousin as her first ever cat! While she meant well, that means he grew up to be a little skittish. But that just adds to his black cat mysterious persona! Eventually Jade grew up and my cousin decided to give him to our grandmother, who was a lover of all critters. Jade then got to live with his cousin cats and dogs, who he got along well with, despite being notoriously shy. Eventually the longer Jade stayed in his new home, the more he began to come out his shell. Eventually, if you were a calm and relaxed guest of the house he'd come out to sniff your hand, and if you had ice cream he wouldn't mind sitting by to see if he might earn some as well. I have heard from grandmother, Sherry, that he would even come out to sit with her or in her lap from time to time. He's truly a sweet and special lil cat, still pretty young, and will be a genuinely rewarding guy to spend life with.

Story
Meet Essex born February 2022. Essex and his siblings were found abandoned in a box at a construction site. Now they're ready for adoption! He's a Bombay mix.Essex is a beautiful and soulful boy. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he is comfortable he is very loving. Essex will rub on his human's legs to let them know he needs attention, he loves being petted. His special skill is playing fetch!! He will often play for 20+ minutes before losing interest. Essex loves wand toys and will chase the feathers at full speed. He loves his cat tree with fake leaves! When he wants to wind down, he snuggles next to his human or will curl up with another kitty. He'd do well in a home with a friendly cat with proper introductions. He is litter box trained. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://webportalapp.com/sp/login/savinghopeanimalrescue-catapplicationportal It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Fee is $150 which includes vaccinations, combo testing, spay/neuter and microchip.
