Story
Chandler is solid black with beautiful gold eyes, like Bombays. He plays hard with his buddy Mousetro for short periods of time and then seeks out affection and cuddles from the foster mom. He is sweet and laid back. He would do well with someone who is home a lot. He hasn't been around dogs or young children. He has been best buddies with Mousetro since they were only weeks old, so we'd like to see them go to the same home. Chandler is currently in a foster home. If you have any questions, please email cowtownpets@gmail.com. If you are interested in applying to adopt Chandler & Mousetro, please submit an online application at cowtownpets.org. Chandler has been neutered and microchipped, shots are up-to-date, had wormer and flea prevention. The adoption fee for the pair is $170 + tax.

Story
I was getting back from the store and then I spotted a black little kitten. So I got out and went to check it out, then I saw the mom all black identical to him and another black cat. All she did was look twice at me and left. She didn’t get defensive about the kitten or mad. She just left him with me. He’s just a little baby, and he already has his eyes open and has teeth and speaks a lot.

Story
Bubba was born on February 6th he is about 4 months old. Me and my family took his mom in when she was pregnant. She had her kittens and unfortunately passed away a week after their birth . We took her babies in completely and bottle fed them and have continued to care for him and his other 4 sisters and brothers since then. He is very playful and calm. Very good with kids and with his littermates.

Story
A neighbor moved and left a sweet young black female cat abandoned on property. Within a couple of weeks she had babies. I can not find anyone who can adopt mama or the babies. They are all very gentle and do not have a feral nature. I feel like mama is less than a year old and the babies are starting to ween. They are very good with children. All five are very social.

Story
In August 2024, my mother-in-law realized the cat she had taken in from a person who helps with trap/neuter/vaccinate/release had been spayed at TCAP. She 5 kittens on 8/21/24. We kept her in our bathroom while she weened the kittens. Two male kittens were adopted by a coworker the other three are with me. We would keep them all if we did not already have a house over-flowing with cats and ferrets. Piace plays with her brother, Poste. He is adlso up for adoption and if interested in both, I will discount the adoption fee. Typicallyvcat, she likes to be petted when SHE asks for pets. She is extremely playful and loves to play with my younger ferrets. She is a beautiful brown tabby who loves to use the litter box as you clean it! She may be more of a cuddler when she does not have all the distractions of cats and ferrets, but for now, she is more of a just play with me kitten. She hasn't learned to be a lapcat yet like her brother

Poste (pronounced post-ay) is a male tabby who enjoys sitting on your lap to be petted after he has run off his energy. He is not a picky eater and LOVES Stella & Chewy freeze-dried raw. Throw a piece down the hall and watch him play before he eats it! His coat is really unique. It's almost like he is a patchwork kitten with stripped legs, speckled back and spotted belly. Adoption fee is to help offset the cost of vet expenses. He has never been outside and is good with our cats and ferrets. I will discount fee if adopted with his sister Piace
