Story
Buddy is a 3 year old male border collie/black labrador mix. Buddy was abused in his first home and then abandoned with WAR but under WARs care and attention, he has learned that not all humans hurt. He is listed as special needs because he is not good with children and would be best suited in a family without children and in a home where he has space to boogie! If you are interested in adopting Buddy, please visit the Wilton Animal Rescue and complete an adoption application,https://wiltonanimalrescue.com/adoption-application/ ##2372286##

Story
I acquired my pet through a friends friend. They asked us to dog sit while they went on vacation, but they never came back for him. We have had him for about a year now, and we truly love him to death. Unfortunately, we are moving to Texas to stay with family, and we won’t be able to accommodate our beautiful Blue the way he deserves. Blue just turned 1 on 1/7 and is fully vaccinated. He loves being outside, but he doesn’t like being out there alone too long unless you’re with him. He is very affectionate and loves cuddles and snacks. He is also super social and will even talk to you if you talk to him. Blue is friendly with other dogs, loves going to the dog park, and has a fun, energetic personality. I would like to see him go to someone who has the same energy or a family that will love him the way we have and has the time and attention to give to him.

Story
My wife and I rehomed a 3-1/2-yr-old male, neutered Border Collie (Archie) a couple of months ago. Things were fine at first, or as fine as one would expect for a dog that lived outside most of its life and was being rehomed. We picked him up due to a neighbor dispute where he would otherwise have had to be put down. He has bonded well with me, but unfortunately has on several occasions shown some aggression towards both my wife and 13-yr-old daughter. In any normal circumstances, I would deal with this with training and such, but our situation is rather chaotic at the moment, involving an urgent move and some family drama that has made things very difficult and unsettled. I have no doubt this contributes to the dog's difficulties, but unfortunately we are unable to deal with everything at this time and my wife and daughter are feeling unsafe; this naturally exacerbates the situation with the dog. He is generally good-natured but we aren't able to deal with everything right now.

Story
A stray gave birth on my lawn to 11 puppies back in May 2025. 10 survived. Rehomed 7 through friends and family . I have 3 boys left. Unfortunately i can’t keep them due to lease agreement with my landlord and city ordinance but she has been patient and allowing me to find a home for the pups. This one here is Rufus. He’s very playful and affectionate . Gets along well with the pack and indoor dogs here at home but he is of a work breed. I tried to rehome with a private rescue unfortunately the Rescue Owner at that time wasn’t comfortable with how tense Rufus became. Rufus did nip and bark at another dog. Being introduced to 14 different dogs can be overwhelming and that’s okay. Nothing escalated . All was calm and over it pretty quick. Neither dog was neutered . Prefer a rancher, hunter or experienced dog owner for adoption as I mentioned he is of a work breed but all are welcomed. As long as you promise to love and care for him til the end… Thanks for reading! 🙏🏽
