Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link. Story
Meet Jump Start! This handsome border collie mix (maybe, who knows!) is a lovable 65lb beefcake with a heart of gold.  This goofy guy is sure to keep you laughing and entertained.  Jumpstart has met other dogs at the shelter and LOVES to play, but would probably do best with dogs who also have a rough and rowdy play style.  Interested in adopting? Visit our shelter during open hours and ask about Jump Start A051922April 14, 2024, 6:04 pm

Story
3.5 years old. Bought him from a local person on face book market when he was 7 weeks old. Charlie is raised mostly indoor and is very energetic. He love walking hiking, river, waterfall and stream. He love being around with people and can eat mostly everything. Very smart dog and I take him for a walked at least 3 times a week. He also love the snow and I took him on a medium hike every month or so. My parents are getting old in their late 70 and couldn't take care of him. I have been in the military for over 10 years and requires a lot of traveling for work. I will take care of the food for a whole year.

Story
Coco is an 11 month old 50 lb. mixed breed. She was a stray and taken in when she was 3 moths old. She needs an owner good with border collie personalities. She requires daily running or long walks to remain a happy and loving dog! She's done well in training classes. Does not like to ride in the car. She gets car sick. Maybe a crate would help with this. She sleeps in her bed at night and is never left alone long. Loves the company of people! We are ready for Coco to find a home with lots of opportunities to run, walk and continue her training.
