Needs the Right Home) Foxy is a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old Border Collie who has been raised on a ranch her entire life. She is incredibly loving, people-oriented, and does very well with kids and other dogs in normal settings. She has a gentle, friendly personality and forms strong bonds with her people. Foxy thrives outdoors and is used to having space to run. She would do best in a home with land, an active lifestyle, or someone experienced with working/high-drive dogs. She has not been an indoor dog, so she would need patience if transitioning into a home environment. It’s important to note that Foxy is not safe with livestock. When in a group setting with other dogs, she has engaged in chasing and killing goats. Because of this, she must go to a home without livestock or small animals, or with an experienced handler who understands how to manage this behavior. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family—we’ve had Foxy since she was a baby.

Buddy is a 3 year old male border collie/black labrador mix. Buddy was abused in his first home and then abandoned with WAR but under WARs care and attention, he has learned that not all humans hurt. Meet Russell Russell is an absolute sweetheart with a calm, loving personality and wonderful house manners. He enjoys playing with the other dogs each morning and evening, and during the workday he’s perfectly content to relax quietly at your feet. On days when his foster works in the office, Russell settles comfortably in his crate for a full workday and does very well. He is fully housebroken and sleeps peacefully either in his crate or cuddled up on the bed. Russell especially loves curling up beside you at night and will happily snuggle close—sometimes climbing on top of you in the morning when he’s ready to start the day. Russell is neutral and appropriate with other dogs. He shows curiosity toward cats and squirrels, but he is responsive to redirection and continues to improve his focus on walks. He walks nicely on a loose leash and responds well to gentle guidance that helps set a calm tone at the start of the walk. This confident (but not pushy) boy has lovely manners around the home. He sits quietly at the door, waits to be invited inside by name, and is learning to maintain his doorway boundaries even when visitors arrive. He may give a brief alert bark if someone approaches the fence or rings the doorbell, but he is otherwise quiet and relaxed indoors. Russell already understands sit, down, and stay with hand signals and is beginning to learn verbal cues. He is a smart, eager dog who will continue to blossom with consistency and love. Courtesy post for rehoming. Patti or Patti Melt and Patti Cake asa her foster lights to call her is a loyal and affectionate beauty. Her favorite activities are catching the ball playing frisbee and snuggling up on the couch with her person. She is food motivated and will do almost anything for treats her stunningly, beautiful ice blue eyes are real showstopper. She is a petite girl at about 45 pounds. She is making progress on leash and is eager to please. She would make an excellent running partner or would simply love to be with her person wherever as long as she is by their side. Patti can be left alone, but needs to feel secure in the area that she is left. She does not like to be in a secluded small space. It takes her a while to warm up to new people so she will require some patience with that. She also enjoys playing with other dogs, but needs close monitoring as she doesn’t have all of the proper social skills yet. She would likely do well with another doggy sibling as long as intros are properly done. Her unwavering and fierce loyalty are her greatest attributes.
