Story
💚 Bori is searching for his Furever Family 💚 Name: Bori Age: Birth- Dec.17 2024 Gender: Male Weight: 19kg Breed: Jindo collie mix Vaccinations / Neuter: Fully vaccinated, neutered, and healthy 🐾 About Bori Bori is a calm and gentle soul — a quiet boy with the look of a mid-century movie star. His soft mane and one folded ear are his signature look. He’s not a cuddler or a dog who constantly demands attention. In fact, Bori prefers to observe from a little distance until he decides it’s time to say hello. When he does, he’ll approach with a gentle nose boop — his quiet way of saying, “I trust you.” He doesn’t crave affection, but he always accepts it with patience and grace. 💛 Relationships with People & Children Bori is friendly with everyone but not overly excitable. He’s calm around adults and completely unbothered by children — he’ll look, sniff politely, and move on. There’s no aggression, no overexcitement, just quiet understanding. 🐶 Relationships with Other Dogs Bori loves dogs. Since he was 3 months old, he’s been a regular at a large dog park, where he learned great manners. He greets all kinds of dogs respectfully, avoids conflict, and even rolls onto his back to show he means no harm. He’s never been in a fight — not even close. 🐱 Relationships with Cats He’s curious about cats but gentle. He lives peacefully with his foster cats — he lets them groom him and accepts headbutts calmly. Outdoors, he may want to sniff or follow cats, but he listens and stops when told. 🚶‍♂️ Walks & Leash Manners In familiar places, Bori walks nicely without pulling. In exciting new areas or at the dog park, his enthusiasm sometimes shows, and he may pull a little — but it’s manageable. He listens well and settles once his initial excitement passes. 💩 Potty Habits Bori is fully pad-trained indoors (100%). Interestingly, he seems to prefer indoor potty time. During short walks, he often waits to go home and use the pad. But on long outdoor days, he’s happy to go outside as well. 🏡 Kennel Training He hasn’t had kennel experience, but based on his calm temperament, he’s expected to adjust well if introduced properly. ⚡ Energy Level Indoors: very low (2–3/10) Outdoors: moderate in familiar areas (around 5/10), but when he’s free at a dog park — he’s full of life! Watching him run, you might think he could lift off and fly. 🧸 Handling & Grooming Bori is comfortable with most handling — tooth brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning are all fine. He dislikes having the fur between his paw pads trimmed with an electric trimmer, but scissors are fine. Bath time isn’t his favorite activity, but he tolerates it without fuss. 🍗 Food & Toys Bori enjoys his meals but isn’t possessive at all. If another dog steals his food, he simply lets it go. 🐕 Prey Drive / Escape / Destruction He sometimes gets excited and tries to follow birds or cats outdoors, but he stops easily when corrected. He shows no escape tendencies. As a puppy, he used to chew cushions or wallpaper, but he has outgrown that phase. Since he’s never been left alone for long periods, it’s unclear how he would behave solo, but overall, he’s a calm and well-mannered boy. 🌷 Rescue Story Bori was born in a group kennel and came to his foster home with his mother shortly after birth due to a parvovirus risk. He’s been with his foster family ever since. He has never known cruelty or neglect — only kindness — which shows in his gentle nature and calm trust in people. Among his siblings, Bori grew the biggest, the healthiest, and perhaps the wisest. He is currently in S. Korea and ready to meet a forever family who will love him just as he is — quietly loyal, endlessly patient, and steady as a rock.

Story
Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 ♡ 🧡 Meet Ma-eum A gentle soul learning to love again Ma-eum spent his early years tied outside on a farm, living in fear. He was abused by a male owner and frightened by children who threw balls at him. Because of that, he is still afraid of men, loud playground sounds, and the sight of bouncing toys. But despite all this, Ma-eum has the gentlest heart. For the past two years, he has been living in a patient and loving foster home. He has made slow, steady progress — on his terms — and is now ready for the next chapter of his life. 🧬 Personality Ma-eum is a quiet, thoughtful boy with a soft energy. He feels safest around gentle women with warm voices, and he truly thrives in calm, peaceful homes. He may keep his distance from men indoors, but sometimes shows more courage when outdoors. He isn’t the kind of dog who will run into your arms — but with time and patience, he’ll follow you anywhere. He enjoys peaceful walks, nosework games, gentle pets, and long naps by your side. He doesn't bark much, and he waits quietly when left alone after a short adjustment. 🏡 At Home ✅ House-trained (prefers peeing on vertical surfaces — his foster can provide wall-to-floor pads) ✅ Good with calm dogs (interested and social but may growl at overly excited dogs) ✅ Neutral to cats (no strong prey drive) ✅ Tolerates children (nervous around fast movements but never aggressive) ✅ Excellent in the car ✅ Loves brushing and gentle touch 🚫 Afraid of balls and squeaky toys — he prefers games with treats instead 💛 Ma-eum is looking for… A family who will let him set the pace. Someone who doesn’t expect instant cuddles but understands how meaningful it is when a shy dog chooses to stay close. Ideally, a female adopter or a quiet household with gentle energy. 📦 Foster home can provide pee pad setup 📍 Adoption includes interview & home check 📩 If Ma-eum’s story touched your heart, we’d love to tell you more. He’s been waiting a long time for someone who sees past the fear — and into his true, beautiful heart

Story
Banjo is a smart and very treated motivated dog. He loves his training sessions and trying out new tricks and does great on leash with a little encouragement. He is the ideal dog for someone with an active lifestyle that wants to take Banjo on all their adventures. Banjo is a silly dog that gets the zoomies, loves crunching on ice, and can independently play with his toys. He is crate trained and is currently working off a schedule that he does well with. He is a high energy dog that benefits from walks, play time, and training. He sometimes resource guards his toys and has basic puppy issues like mouthiness. Banjo does well with dog adjusted cats and although he has not met any children yet, it is suspected he would do fine. Banjo also does well with dogs. Banjo is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to ensure a successful adoption. If you're interested in meeting Banjo, fill out an application and a volunteer will be in touch. betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application
