A family member passed away in August. As Brody was her only animal, he is not used to being around other dogs/animals. He definitely likes to be the center of attention. Once he is acclimated, he is a very sweet dog, loves to go on walks, and loves to have a job to do. Brody went through professional training that will help when walking on leash, or around the house to correct common behavioral issues as they arise. Should any adopter like to continue the training the trainer has offered a free class to assist with the reinforcement of Brody’s initial training.

Story

Sophie is a sweet, gentle, and friendly Border Collie mix who also happens to be a tripod. At about 1–2 years old and 42 pounds, Sophie has a lot of love to give. Sophie’s journey hasn’t been easy. Her right front paw was caught in a coyote trap, and despite the shelter’s best efforts, the injury was so severe that her leg could not be saved. Sophie recovered beautifully from surgery and adapted remarkably well to life on three legs. Even so, she spent two long months waiting at the shelter for someone to give her a chance. Thankfully, Sophie is now enjoying life in a wonderful foster home, and she’s making the most of every day! Watching her run and play in the yard with the resident dog, you might hardly notice she’s missing a leg. She can be surprisingly fast! Although she wouldn’t be your choice for a jogging partner, she loves her daily walks to the local park, where she has made lots of human and canine friends. Sophie is also a wonderful houseguest. She’s housebroken, sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and has mastered the doggie door. She enjoys playing with toys and even seems to like watching TV! Car rides are no problem, either. But Sophie’s favorite thing may be spending time with people. This affectionate girl loves everyone she meets. She’ll happily sit for pets and roll right over for a good belly rub. And when it comes to treats? Sophie is very food-motivated and takes them ever so gently. What more could you ask for? Sophie has overcome a difficult start in life and is ready for her next chapter—a loving forever home where she can be cherished for the wonderful dog she is. She may have only three legs, but she has a whole lot of heart! Orphan Annie is a super nice medium size dog possibly McNab and/or Border Collie. She's very sweet, & she's house trained, sits, heels, & she's had some sort of care/training. We think Annie might be around 7 years old. It seems she gets along with other dogs with proper introduction, although she would not mind being an only dog in her new home. Annie was found as a stray—skinny, covered in fleas, and clearly in need of some care. But despite everything she had been through, Annie was never scared. From the very beginning, she was friendly, trusting, and eager for human attention. Annie is an absolute love bug with people. She adores attention, cuddles, and being around her humans. She has such a sweet, loving personality and makes friends wherever she goes. After all she’s been through, Annie is ready for the part of her story she deserves most: a loving forever home where she can be safe, cherished, and spoiled. She is ready to match your energy and is happy to be both a couch potato as well as full of energy. Raindrop loves walks, playing with other dogs, couch time, and fetch. Her favorite toys are any rubber toys, including kong toys, and any kind of ball. Raindrop can be a little unsettled when first meeting a new dog or person, but settles in beautifully with some patience. She is mostly cautious when meeting new strangers, and may bark in fear at new dogs or people. She has improved greatly in our group training class and is feeling more comfortable meeting new friends. Raindrop does not currently live with cats but we suspect she might do fine with them. Raindrop is a loyal, smart, face-licker ready to help your life start fresh with her joining your family. She would love to meet you and change your life for good. Raindrop is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption. Poppy was found as a stray, she is not chipped and is around 10 months old. All of the shelters nearby are either full or are a shelter that euthanizes (I did not want to place her somewhere where that was an option). Due to our landlord, we are unable to keep her (we have one other dog, but she is a service dog)She is so sweet and playful, she gets along great with children and other dogs.She knows how to sit, lay down, is kennel trained (if you want her in her kennel at night) and is mostly potty trained (she can pee when overly excited-that is to be expected since she's only 9 months old)Poppy is energetic and loves to run around. She also loves bones and dog toys (I have NOT had an issue with her playing with kids toys or chewing anything)I really hope she finds a great home, she is wonderful ❤️I am keeping the adoption fee low since she is not fixed or vaccinated :)

Hi this is Willow, she is a red merel. She is crate trained and likes to hang around in it during the day. She is a skiddish pup, loud noises, cars, kids playing all cause her to become very anxious and run for a dark spot to curl up in. She is just a love bug, love to chew on toys, play fetch and cuddle up. She is trainable if she is in a quiet environment where she feels safe, and she absolutely loves having a big yard. I also think she would do best in a home with no kiddos (only because of the noise) no other pups (she asserts her dominance pretty quickly). I have had some drastic life changes happen over the past year and had to make the horrible decision to look for a new home for Willow. I live in a small place with no yard, this environment causes her extreme stress (even while being taken out on leash for the bathroom). I am looking to find a home for her that will give her the most comfortable, stress free life that I am heartbreakingly unable to provide her with.
