Story
Meet Peach, an 8 year old border collie ready for her next assignment! Peach can be shy at first, and seems to be faster warming up to woman over men, but is very sweet once she knows you. She loves to be by your side and enjoys gentle massages or petting. Peach has VERY strong herding instincts and was likely a working herder in the past. She is very smart and seems to know commands that would be used in herding like `down/place` and running to where you point. We have not tested her out with actual livestock so are not sure how she will actually work them. Peach would do best with no other dogs, as she gets overstimulated or jealous when they are around her people and will redirect her frustration onto them. She likely will not do well with young children in the home due to her herding behavior. If not a new herding job, Peach would likely enjoy some other type of work such as agility. Peach is a sweetheart and ready to find her perfect new home today!

Story
Hi, I'm Marnie! I'm a 7-month-old female Border Collie mix with a personality as big as my adorable ears!I'm a sweet, affectionate girl who loves making new friends. As a young Border Collie, I'm smart, curious, and always ready for the next adventure. I love to play, learn new things, and spend time with my favorite people. I've pretty much mastered sitting for treats- I'll do anything if snacks are involved!I'm looking for a family that's ready to help me continue learning and growing into the amazing dog I know I can be. With plenty of love, playtime, and positive training, I'll make a loyal, fun-loving companion for years to come.If you're looking for a clever, playful pup with lots of love to give, come meet me at Woods SLO. I can't wait to find my family! Primary Color: Black/white Weight: 37.7 Age: 0yrs 7mths 0wks

Story
Hi! My name is Mason but folks around here call me Einstein. The only thing that outshines my intelligence is my goofy and sweet personality. I love spending time with my people and can’t wait to head out on an adventure with you! I love exploring whether it’s a brisk walk in the neighborhood or a hike in the forest. Something else I love is snacks! I’m eager for you to show me which behaviors you like by rewarding me with a little something yummy! At the shelter I’ve learned “sit” and I’m practicing “down,” “stay” and “touch.” I’m happy to learn other new things and love when my brain is engaged. Some of my human friends say I probably have a herding breed mixed into my DNA so it would be awesome if I got a family ready to tap into all the wonderful things that brings. I’m ready to learn, I just need a family of my own to show me what to do!
