Story
Hello, My name is Bucky and I'm an 11 month old collie mix puppy looking for my next place to call home. I love to jump and play, toys and chews help me get all my puppy energy out. I have met all kinds of people and even lived with a dog, I am just a pup who's still learning and would do anything for a treat. I'm pretty fast, quite athletic, so no bird friends for now but if you want a buddy to play with I'm your guy. Come stop by Woods Humane SLO if you want to spend time with a cool guy like me, I'd love for a chance to find my next home. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 45 Age: 0yrs 11mths 1wks

Story
Reba is a 4-year-old spayed Border Collie who is friendly but appreciates a slow introduction. She was surrendered through no fault of her own—Reba was being picked on by the other two dogs in the home. Reba has lived only with those dogs and will need slow, thoughtful introductions to new canine friends. While she did chase the cat on the property, a cat-free home or careful management would be best. Reba was gentle and appropriate with her previous owner when introduced to older children. This sensitive girl would do best in a calm, structured home with someone who understands her breed and can help her build confidence. With patience and stability, Reba will likely blossom into a loyal and loving companion.

Story
Hi! My name is Daisy. I am a 3-year-old female, Border Collie Queensland Heeler cross. I was surrendered here to the shelter because I have a passion for herding small animals - cats and small dogs. I love big dogs and have made some friends here at the shelter. At the shelter, I come off as a bit shy and aloof. However, that is probably just because this place is a bit overwhelming. Away from here, I am sure I will open up and be your best companion. I like to take walks - I am a bit overweight and would benefit from a few nice long ones. I also love water - beach trips or any body of water will do. I am crate trained which makes me an easy keeper from the start. Anyway, I am also adorable, as you can see. My profile does say I am not potty trained so we can work on that - crate, walks and treats for good behavior and I will be potty trained quickly- I am a smart and willing girl. I want to be your best friend and will do just about anything to make that happen.

Story
Rosie is a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog with a gentle heart and a quiet strength that grows a little more each day. Naturally shy, Rosie has made tremendous progress thanks to the patience and dedication of our staff and volunteers, but she’s now at a point where she truly needs a home (or committed foster) to continue blossoming. In the right environment, Rosie’s soft personality begins to shine. She thrives on consistency, kindness, and trust, and once she bonds, she forms a deep connection. While she does well with other dogs, Rosie’s favorite place is right beside her person. She’s the kind of dog who chooses you, and when she does, it’s incredibly special.Rosie would do best with someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to move at her pace, celebrating the small victories that lead to big transformations. A calm, loving home or a dedicated foster willing to keep building her confidence will make all the difference in her journey.Rosie isn’t looking for just any home, she’s waiting for the one where she can feel safe, loved, and finally home
