Meet Sweet Dolly! Dolly's story didn't start the way every puppy's should. She came from an Amish puppy mill, where her interactions with people were very limited. But now, in her loving foster home, Dolly is discovering just how wonderful the world-and people-can be. Dolly is looking for a patient and understanding family who will give her the time she needs to continue learning and gaining confidence. In return, she has SO much love to give! Once Dolly gets to know you, there is nothing she loves more than settling in for a good belly rub. She absolutely loves other dogs! Playing outside is her favorite thing ever! She is working hard on her potty training and doing well. Her crate is her safe space when she feels unsure or overwhelmed. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night, although I have a feeling that with time, she may decide sleeping next to her favorite human is even better! Dolly may need a little extra patience, but watching her blossom is incredibly rewarding. She is learning that hands can be gentle, people can be trusted, and life can be filled with love, belly rubs, playtime, and a family of her very own. If you have room in your heart for a sweet girl who just needs someone to believe in her, Dolly might be your perfect match. When he arrived in foster care, the world felt scary and unfamiliar. In just one month, though, he has made incredible progress and continues to gain confidence every day. Kenny loves pets, especially when you're sitting down. Standing people and being picked up can still make him nervous, so he'll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time to build. With reassurance, kindness, and consistency, Kenny continues to come out of his shell. This sweet boy enjoys chasing his sister, eating treats, and shredding empty Amazon boxes. She’ll nudge your hand with her nose until you pet her, and if you sit down on the floor, she’ll climb right into your lap and roll over for belly rubs.She’s a quick study, too. Her foster family taught her to head to her own room on cue, and she was fully house-trained once she settled into their routine. They even took her on walks downtown, and she handled the traffic and the crowds like a pro. Storms are the one thing Rowan can’t shake. Thunder frightens her so much that she’ll do anything to get away from it, so she needs someone ready to help her ride it out. She takes a daily medication plus extra before a storm, and that routine makes a real difference for her. Her person will want a storm plan, like being home with her when the weather turns and keeping a heavy-duty crate for the times they can’t be.Rowan likes to take her time getting to know someone new, so she’ll be happiest in a quiet, low-traffic home. She’d rather say hello on her own terms. Gus is 11 years old. He has quite a bit of energy for an 11 year old. He is fully house trained and can sit, shake, and lay down on command. Falling on hard times, we had to move to an apartment complex. This complex does not allow German shepherds in any sort. They will not let us keep him. I have asked family and friends but no one can afford a pet right now. This is my second to last option before I send him to a shelter. Gus loves to be outside and run around. He loves to play with other dogs and gets along great with just about anyone. He has a protective side as well. He has been very loyal to our family.

I am looking to re-home our 4-year-old Border Collie/German Shepherd mix, Mack. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention (all completed 8/26). We are making the very difficult decision to find him a loving family where he can be the only dog or with other dogs that don't mind his herding instinct. Our special needs daughter has had worsening behaviors over the past year and qualifies for a service dog, but Mack has a strong herding instinct and keeps trying to boss everyone, lol. We have spent six months working on this, including training and daycare, but have decided this transition is best for everyone.Mack is:• Neutered/ microchipped• Up to date on all vaccinations• House trained• Great with young and older children• Very patient, loving, kindMack is absolutely wonderful with people!
