Gucci is 4 yrs old and weighs 20 lbs. He was an unclaimed stray. But he certainly was a house pet as he is familiar with being in a house. He is a total love bug, loves everybody so he was certainly loved by his owner (who most likely was a man as he is so affectionate towards men). He is sweet and so gentle, such a happy little guy, tail forever wagging, calm, obedient and responsive, he comes right away when called. He is housebroken, walks on the leash like a champ, so good and quiet when crated (although he is non-destructive and does not require to be crated). He is a pleasure to groom, extremely patient: he sat quietly, without moving for more than 1 1/2 hour while giving kisses to his new foster mom when she brushed and detangled his coat the day following his arrival in rescue. He was just as good and well behaved when bathed afterwards. He gets along with other dogs Gucci is definitely a “designer” dog! And he is without a doubt an awesome family dog, a true gem, well balanced, confident, so easy to care for. Gucci is estimated to be 4 yrs old and weighs 20 lbs. Gucci’s name is perfect because he is a designer dog!

I was once in a shelter, facing an uncertain future. On the very last day before my time was up, a kind rescue group stepped in and saved me. There was even a mix-up where another pup was rescued in my place, but in the end, everything worked out, and now I’m safe and ready to find my forever home! I have a calm and balanced personality, and I enjoy both outdoor playtime and relaxing at home. I love meeting other dogs and will happily say hello to new furry friends! Oreo is a 3-year-old male Border Collie/Jindo mix who was rescued from a shelter just before he was scheduled for euthanasia. Sadly, and for unknown reasons, before finding himself abandoned and alone at the shelter, his teeth had been deliberately ground down. Amazingly and despite this, he remains a lively, energetic, and otherwise healthy dog who is remarkably intelligent, craves human interaction, and is very loyal to his guardian. Oreo has the exceptional intelligence typical of Border Collies, fully understanding various commands such as "sit," "wait," and "house." He is also deeply loyal to his guardian and has a strong capacity for forming deep bonds typical of the Jindo breed. He is truly a remarkable dog who has the capacity to grow into an even more amazing companion through continued obedience training and by establishing a trusting relationship with his guardian. Oreo is incredibly affectionate and loves people. He is also very social and gets along well with other dogs. However, he has a habit of jumping when excited, which requires caution when a person is interacting with him in a low position. With consistent training, this behavior can be corrected. Being highly energetic, Oreo possesses excellent jumping ability. At the training center, he has been known to leap over fences—not out of a desire to escape, but due to his curiosity and strong attachment to his guardian. In fact, he has demonstrated behavior where he jumps over a fence when he hears his guardian's voice outside, only to return shortly after. For this reason, families with yards should ensure proper supervision, and a high-fenced environment may be more suitable.
