Story
Eden / Female / 2 Years / 60 lbs / Border Collie-Black Lab Mix / Good with Dogs / Good with Kids / Unknown with Cats / From Mississauga According to her foster momma, Eden is a “perfectly polite angel.” Unless you’re her stuffie, then she’ll tear out your guts and eat it. But beyond this one curious quirk, Eden is the perfect dog and would be the perfect addition to almost any home. As a two-year-old border collie mix, Eden has energy to spare. She’s playful, affectionate, and expressive, but has just a splash of timidness that makes her easy to walk despite her size. She’s in her happy place when she’s in her bed chewing on her many toys, or when she’s out exploring the world. When it’s time for cuddles, she’ll gently place her head in your lap and look up with those big puppy-dog eyes. She’s shy with strangers, both dogs and people, but she’s always curious about newcomers, and she quickly warms up when given a positive response. She loves to play with other dogs she’s gotten to know, and the perfect home for her might include another furry friend to help her burn off some of that energy. Otherwise, dog-savvy children would be a good match for her playfulness. At 60 lbs, Eden is a little big to be cooped up in a tiny apartment. Unless you live near a decent-sized dog park, a home with a backyard is a better fit for Eden. Two good 30-minute walks are essential for Eden’s energy level. She takes walks with excited enthusiasm, but she doesn’t try to pull on her leash; instead, she focuses on the many smells of the outdoors. Eden knows all the basics of dog training, including sit, stay, lie down, and paw. She’s fully potty-trained and doesn’t seem to require a crate as she readily settles on her doggy bed when left alone. She doesn’t chew furniture, she doesn’t jump on counters, and she doesn’t go looking for trouble. While Eden may love her toys, she should only be given hard chew toys and not soft stuffed toys. This is due to her aforementioned quirk; if given the chance, she’ll tear a stuffy apart and eat whatever’s inside. Proper training may be able to break her of this bad habit, but the simplest solution is to just keep her away from soft toys. Eden has a condition called luxating patella, or in human terms, a dislocated kneecap. She seems to have adapted to her condition, and it doesn’t cause her pain or discomfort, but you may see her hop, limp, or hobble while walking sometimes. Just let her walk it off, and she’ll be back to being a perfect, polite angel. If you are interested in adopting one of the puppies, please fill out an application at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form The adoption fee is $850. Adopters must pay the fee at time of approval to hold the puppy until they are ready to go home. Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 ♡ 🧡 Meet Ma-eum A gentle soul learning to love again Ma-eum spent his early years tied outside on a farm, living in fear. He was abused by a male owner and frightened by children who threw balls at him. Because of that, he is still afraid of men, loud playground sounds, and the sight of bouncing toys. But despite all this, Ma-eum has the gentlest heart. For the past two years, he has been living in a patient and loving foster home. He has made slow, steady progress — on his terms — and is now ready for the next chapter of his life. 🧬 Personality Ma-eum is a quiet, thoughtful boy with a soft energy. He feels safest around gentle women with warm voices, and he truly thrives in calm, peaceful homes. He may keep his distance from men indoors, but sometimes shows more courage when outdoors. He isn’t the kind of dog who will run into your arms — but with time and patience, he’ll follow you anywhere. He enjoys peaceful walks, nosework games, gentle pets, and long naps by your side. He doesn't bark much, and he waits quietly when left alone after a short adjustment. 🏡 At Home ✅ House-trained (prefers peeing on vertical surfaces — his foster can provide wall-to-floor pads) ✅ Good with calm dogs (interested and social but may growl at overly excited dogs) ✅ Neutral to cats (no strong prey drive) ✅ Tolerates children (nervous around fast movements but never aggressive) ✅ Excellent in the car ✅ Loves brushing and gentle touch 🚫 Afraid of balls and squeaky toys — he prefers games with treats instead 💛 Ma-eum is looking for… A family who will let him set the pace. Someone who doesn’t expect instant cuddles but understands how meaningful it is when a shy dog chooses to stay close. Ideally, a female adopter or a quiet household with gentle energy. 📦 Foster home can provide pee pad setup 📍 Adoption includes interview & home check 📩 If Ma-eum’s story touched your heart, we’d love to tell you more. He’s been waiting a long time for someone who sees past the fear — and into his true, beautiful heart

🐾🖤 Meet Collie 🖤🐾 A quiet mama who deserves her own forever home 💫 ────────────────── 💕💕A special dog 💕💕 🏷 Profile 🐶 Name: Collie ⚖️ Weight: 13 kg (28.6 lbs) 🎂 Age: Approx. 3 years 🚺 Gender: Female (Spayed) 🐕 Breed: Border Collie + Laika mix 🎨 Color: Black & White ────────────────── 💔 Her Story Collie was rescued from a large illegal breeding facility while pregnant 🤍 She had spent her life confined in a small cage and was separated from her puppies shortly after giving birth. Because of long-term confinement and frequent relocations, she began showing stress-related repetitive behaviors. Since moving into a stable foster home, she has improved so much 🌿 She feels safest resting in small, cozy spaces and has learned what it means to live in a home. Collie doesn’t demand attention or constant affection. She is quiet, gentle, and low-maintenance 🕊️ We are looking for a family who can love her just as she is. ────────────────── 🐶 Personality & Social Skills ✔️ Good with other dogs 🐕 ⚠️ Chases cats 🐱 ⚡ Medium energy 🤲 Can be handled 🔕 Rarely barks (and even then, softly) 🚪 Escape caution needed — secure home required ────────────────── 🏡 Training & Lifestyle 🚽 Outdoor potty trained (can use pads if urgent) 🏠 Comfortable in a crate 🦮 Walks nicely on leash 🎗 No leash reactivity to people or dogs 🚗 Rides well in the car 🧸 No destructive behavior 🍽 No appetite issues ────────────────── 🏠 Home Environment 🏢 Apartment living: Possible 🌿 Yard: Would be nice, not required 🐾 Only dog or multi-dog home: Both okay She may not show big, dramatic affection, but she loves treats 🍪 and even comes to greet her foster in the mornings ☀️ Her puppies have already found their families. Now it’s Mama Collie’s turn 💛 All she needs is a warm corner of a home and someone willing to give her quiet understanding 🏡✨ Please give Collie the chance she has never had 🖤

Story
Oreo is a 3-year-old male Border Collie/Jindo mix who was rescued from a shelter just before he was scheduled for euthanasia. Sadly, and for unknown reasons, before finding himself abandoned and alone at the shelter, his teeth had been deliberately ground down. Amazingly and despite this, he remains a lively, energetic, and otherwise healthy dog who is remarkably intelligent, craves human interaction, and is very loyal to his guardian. Oreo has the exceptional intelligence typical of Border Collies, fully understanding various commands such as "sit," "wait," and "house." He is also deeply loyal to his guardian and has a strong capacity for forming deep bonds typical of the Jindo breed. He is truly a remarkable dog who has the capacity to grow into an even more amazing companion through continued obedience training and by establishing a trusting relationship with his guardian. Oreo is incredibly affectionate and loves people. He is also very social and gets along well with other dogs. However, he has a habit of jumping when excited, which requires caution when a person is interacting with him in a low position. With consistent training, this behavior can be corrected. Being highly energetic, Oreo possesses excellent jumping ability. At the training center, he has been known to leap over fences—not out of a desire to escape, but due to his curiosity and strong attachment to his guardian. In fact, he has demonstrated behavior where he jumps over a fence when he hears his guardian's voice outside, only to return shortly after. For this reason, families with yards should ensure proper supervision, and a high-fenced environment may be more suitable. The Ideal Family for Oreo is: ✔️ Someone who understands the high intelligence and energy levels of Border Collies, the exceptional loyalty of Jindos, and can provide sufficient mental and physical stimulation ✔️ Someone with experience in training or handling large dogs ✔️ Someone who values bonding with their dog and is ready to build a deep connection ✔️ Someone who can provide ample space for Oreo to move and exercise freely Despite his heartbreaking past, Oreo still loves people and finds his greatest happiness in being with his guardian. With so much intelligence and energy, he has limitless potential to become the perfect lifelong companion if he meets the right family, one that understands him and is ready to provide him with love, care, and proper training. Oreo is waiting for his new family! ❤️

I’m comfortable being picked up, and I’m a quick learner too! I picked up the command “sit” in no time and love earning treats while learning new tricks. · With Dogs: I love my dog friends just as much—I’m always excited to meet new pups and play. I’m still a young boy learning my manners, so my happy energy can sometimes get a little enthusiastic and pushy, but it’s all coming from a friendly, playful place. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I’m a high-energy, fun-loving boy who thrives on adventure—I love exploring, playing, and staying active. Once I’ve had a good chance to burn off my energy, I settle down beautifully and relax calmly indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I get super excited for walks and may pull at times, but I do follow my handler’s lead overall. I’m still building my confidence and can feel a bit unsure around busy streets, though I’m improving with guidance. I have great manners around people and don’t guard my food, but I can be a little sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtime. I settle nicely in my kennel, am comfortable using both pee pads and going outdoors, and while I may mark in a new environment at first, I adjust and settle in quickly.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands I’m still a young pup and willing to guide me with patience and continue with basic obedience training   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a joyful, happy boy who truly deserves the very best, and any family would be so lucky to have me. I’ll be starting socialization training soon, and I’m ready to grow into an even more well-mannered little gentleman. As a young pup, I’m eager to learn and just need a family to guide me—I have so much potential and so much love to give.   Seoksam's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2689898##

QUICK FACTS Name: Nelly Age: About 3 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Border Collie – Jindo Mix Color: Black Weight: 13kg / 28.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at the city shelter. Now I’m safe and ready to start a new chapter with a loving family of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Nelly, a sweet and loving little dog with a big heart. One of my front legs didn’t fully develop from birth, but it doesn’t slow me down or stop me from enjoying life. In fact, many people don’t even notice it at first because of how bright and happy my personality is. I truly love everyone I meet—every person feels like my favorite person! I greet people warmly and happily follow along wherever they go. I’m also very polite with other dogs and enjoy playing without ever starting trouble. I’m well-mannered and already know some basics like sit. I also love toys, especially playing fetch and bringing them back to you. I’m a dog with a wonderful temperament and lovely manners. I’m a truly perfect little companion ready to fill a home with love.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a loving and friendly pup! Not only with people I already know — I’ll happily walk up to new people too, rub against them, and let them hold me in their arms and pet me. Once we become close, I’ll roll over and show you my belly — that’s my way of saying I feel safe and would love some belly rubs! I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, but I believe I’ll get along great with them! · With Dogs: I like walking up to both familiar dogs and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. I am a gentle dog. Even when another dog tries to provoke me, I usually choose to walk away instead of getting into trouble. I prefer to keep things calm and friendly. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities like walks and exploring, and I’m always happy to spend time outside. After some fun outdoor time, I’m also very good at settling down and resting quietly at home. I have a nice balance between playtime and relaxation. I have lots of experience going on walks, so I’m a very polite walking companion. I don’t pull on the leash and I follow my person nicely. I love calm, enjoyable walks where I can stay right by your side and explore the world together.     TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food — not from people and not from other dogs. I’m very easygoing at mealtime.I’m generally a very quiet pup and rarely bark. When I’m placed in a kennel, I stay calm and settle down nicely.I’m mostly used to going potty outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES One of my front legs has a disability. It’s believed to be a congenital condition, which means the leg didn’t fully develop as I grew. Even though my leg is a little different, I still get around in my own way and enjoy life just like any other pup. All I really need is a loving family who sees how special I am.    Nelly's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2684215##
