Story
Eden / Female / 2 Years / 60 lbs / Border Collie-Black Lab Mix / Good with Dogs / Good with Kids / Unknown with Cats / From Mississauga According to her foster momma, Eden is a “perfectly polite angel.” Unless you’re her stuffie, then she’ll tear out your guts and eat it. But beyond this one curious quirk, Eden is the perfect dog and would be the perfect addition to almost any home. As a two-year-old border collie mix, Eden has energy to spare. She’s playful, affectionate, and expressive, but has just a splash of timidness that makes her easy to walk despite her size. She’s in her happy place when she’s in her bed chewing on her many toys, or when she’s out exploring the world. When it’s time for cuddles, she’ll gently place her head in your lap and look up with those big puppy-dog eyes. She’s shy with strangers, both dogs and people, but she’s always curious about newcomers, and she quickly warms up when given a positive response. She loves to play with other dogs she’s gotten to know, and the perfect home for her might include another furry friend to help her burn off some of that energy. Otherwise, dog-savvy children would be a good match for her playfulness. At 60 lbs, Eden is a little big to be cooped up in a tiny apartment. Unless you live near a decent-sized dog park, a home with a backyard is a better fit for Eden. Two good 30-minute walks are essential for Eden’s energy level. She takes walks with excited enthusiasm, but she doesn’t try to pull on her leash; instead, she focuses on the many smells of the outdoors. Eden knows all the basics of dog training, including sit, stay, lie down, and paw. She’s fully potty-trained and doesn’t seem to require a crate as she readily settles on her doggy bed when left alone. She doesn’t chew furniture, she doesn’t jump on counters, and she doesn’t go looking for trouble. While Eden may love her toys, she should only be given hard chew toys and not soft stuffed toys. This is due to her aforementioned quirk; if given the chance, she’ll tear a stuffy apart and eat whatever’s inside. Proper training may be able to break her of this bad habit, but the simplest solution is to just keep her away from soft toys. Eden has a condition called luxating patella, or in human terms, a dislocated kneecap. She seems to have adapted to her condition, and it doesn’t cause her pain or discomfort, but you may see her hop, limp, or hobble while walking sometimes. Just let her walk it off, and she’ll be back to being a perfect, polite angel. If you are interested in adopting one of the puppies, please fill out an application at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form The adoption fee is $850. Adopters must pay the fee at time of approval to hold the puppy until they are ready to go home. Max is 9 years. He's very active and loves to play fetch. He's better with women. He would do better with someone who is familiar with Border Collies, as they are very smart and active. My brother's new landlord won't let him keep Max so we're looking for a new home for Max.

Story
Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 ♡ 🧡 Meet Ma-eum A gentle soul learning to love again Ma-eum spent his early years tied outside on a farm, living in fear. He was abused by a male owner and frightened by children who threw balls at him. Because of that, he is still afraid of men, loud playground sounds, and the sight of bouncing toys. But despite all this, Ma-eum has the gentlest heart. For the past two years, he has been living in a patient and loving foster home. He has made slow, steady progress — on his terms — and is now ready for the next chapter of his life. 🧬 Personality Ma-eum is a quiet, thoughtful boy with a soft energy. He feels safest around gentle women with warm voices, and he truly thrives in calm, peaceful homes. He may keep his distance from men indoors, but sometimes shows more courage when outdoors. He isn’t the kind of dog who will run into your arms — but with time and patience, he’ll follow you anywhere. He enjoys peaceful walks, nosework games, gentle pets, and long naps by your side. He doesn't bark much, and he waits quietly when left alone after a short adjustment. 🏡 At Home ✅ House-trained (prefers peeing on vertical surfaces — his foster can provide wall-to-floor pads) ✅ Good with calm dogs (interested and social but may growl at overly excited dogs) ✅ Neutral to cats (no strong prey drive) ✅ Tolerates children (nervous around fast movements but never aggressive) ✅ Excellent in the car ✅ Loves brushing and gentle touch 🚫 Afraid of balls and squeaky toys — he prefers games with treats instead 💛 Ma-eum is looking for… A family who will let him set the pace. Someone who doesn’t expect instant cuddles but understands how meaningful it is when a shy dog chooses to stay close. Ideally, a female adopter or a quiet household with gentle energy. 📦 Foster home can provide pee pad setup 📍 Adoption includes interview & home check 📩 If Ma-eum’s story touched your heart, we’d love to tell you more. He’s been waiting a long time for someone who sees past the fear — and into his true, beautiful heart

🐾🖤 Meet Collie 🖤🐾 A quiet mama who deserves her own forever home 💫 ────────────────── 💕💕A special dog 💕💕 🏷 Profile 🐶 Name: Collie ⚖️ Weight: 13 kg (28.6 lbs) 🎂 Age: Approx. 3 years 🚺 Gender: Female (Spayed) 🐕 Breed: Border Collie + Laika mix 🎨 Color: Black & White ────────────────── 💔 Her Story Collie was rescued from a large illegal breeding facility while pregnant 🤍 She had spent her life confined in a small cage and was separated from her puppies shortly after giving birth. Because of long-term confinement and frequent relocations, she began showing stress-related repetitive behaviors. Since moving into a stable foster home, she has improved so much 🌿 She feels safest resting in small, cozy spaces and has learned what it means to live in a home. Collie doesn’t demand attention or constant affection. She is quiet, gentle, and low-maintenance 🕊️ We are looking for a family who can love her just as she is. ────────────────── 🐶 Personality & Social Skills ✔️ Good with other dogs 🐕 ⚠️ Chases cats 🐱 ⚡ Medium energy 🤲 Can be handled 🔕 Rarely barks (and even then, softly) 🚪 Escape caution needed — secure home required ────────────────── 🏡 Training & Lifestyle 🚽 Outdoor potty trained (can use pads if urgent) 🏠 Comfortable in a crate 🦮 Walks nicely on leash 🎗 No leash reactivity to people or dogs 🚗 Rides well in the car 🧸 No destructive behavior 🍽 No appetite issues ────────────────── 🏠 Home Environment 🏢 Apartment living: Possible 🌿 Yard: Would be nice, not required 🐾 Only dog or multi-dog home: Both okay She may not show big, dramatic affection, but she loves treats 🍪 and even comes to greet her foster in the mornings ☀️ Her puppies have already found their families. Now it’s Mama Collie’s turn 💛 All she needs is a warm corner of a home and someone willing to give her quiet understanding 🏡✨ Please give Collie the chance she has never had 🖤

Story
Oreo is a 3-year-old male Border Collie/Jindo mix who was rescued from a shelter just before he was scheduled for euthanasia. Sadly, and for unknown reasons, before finding himself abandoned and alone at the shelter, his teeth had been deliberately ground down. Amazingly and despite this, he remains a lively, energetic, and otherwise healthy dog who is remarkably intelligent, craves human interaction, and is very loyal to his guardian. Oreo has the exceptional intelligence typical of Border Collies, fully understanding various commands such as "sit," "wait," and "house." He is also deeply loyal to his guardian and has a strong capacity for forming deep bonds typical of the Jindo breed. He is truly a remarkable dog who has the capacity to grow into an even more amazing companion through continued obedience training and by establishing a trusting relationship with his guardian. Oreo is incredibly affectionate and loves people. He is also very social and gets along well with other dogs. However, he has a habit of jumping when excited, which requires caution when a person is interacting with him in a low position. With consistent training, this behavior can be corrected. Being highly energetic, Oreo possesses excellent jumping ability. At the training center, he has been known to leap over fences—not out of a desire to escape, but due to his curiosity and strong attachment to his guardian. In fact, he has demonstrated behavior where he jumps over a fence when he hears his guardian's voice outside, only to return shortly after. For this reason, families with yards should ensure proper supervision, and a high-fenced environment may be more suitable. The Ideal Family for Oreo is: ✔️ Someone who understands the high intelligence and energy levels of Border Collies, the exceptional loyalty of Jindos, and can provide sufficient mental and physical stimulation ✔️ Someone with experience in training or handling large dogs ✔️ Someone who values bonding with their dog and is ready to build a deep connection ✔️ Someone who can provide ample space for Oreo to move and exercise freely Despite his heartbreaking past, Oreo still loves people and finds his greatest happiness in being with his guardian. With so much intelligence and energy, he has limitless potential to become the perfect lifelong companion if he meets the right family, one that understands him and is ready to provide him with love, care, and proper training. Oreo is waiting for his new family! ❤️

QUICK FACTS Name: Seoksam Age: 8 months old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Collie, Jindo mix Color: Golden, Beige Weight: 15kg / 33lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound just in time, after being at risk due to limited space. Thanks to that second chance, I’m now safe and ready to start my next chapter with a loving forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a cheerful, happy-go-lucky boy who absolutely loves both people and dog friends—everyone I meet instantly becomes my new best friend. I’m even more adorable in person, with the softest, fluffiest golden-beige fur you won’t be able to resist.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people and get so excited to greet everyone I meet—I’m always ready for pets and affection. I’m comfortable being picked up, and I’m a quick learner too! I picked up the command “sit” in no time and love earning treats while learning new tricks. · With Dogs: I love my dog friends just as much—I’m always excited to meet new pups and play. I’m still a young boy learning my manners, so my happy energy can sometimes get a little enthusiastic and pushy, but it’s all coming from a friendly, playful place. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I’m a high-energy, fun-loving boy who thrives on adventure—I love exploring, playing, and staying active. Once I’ve had a good chance to burn off my energy, I settle down beautifully and relax calmly indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I get super excited for walks and may pull at times, but I do follow my handler’s lead overall. I’m still building my confidence and can feel a bit unsure around busy streets, though I’m improving with guidance. I have great manners around people and don’t guard my food, but I can be a little sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtime. I settle nicely in my kennel, am comfortable using both pee pads and going outdoors, and while I may mark in a new environment at first, I adjust and settle in quickly.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands I’m still a young pup and willing to guide me with patience and continue with basic obedience training   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a joyful, happy boy who truly deserves the very best, and any family would be so lucky to have me. I’ll be starting socialization training soon, and I’m ready to grow into an even more well-mannered little gentleman. As a young pup, I’m eager to learn and just need a family to guide me—I have so much potential and so much love to give.   Seoksam's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2689898##

Story
Marco is a purebred, Australian cattle dog a.k.a. blue heeler. He was born with a bilateral cleft lip. This birth defect does not stop him from doing anything. A normal dog would do. He eats just like a normal dog would eat. You just have to brush his teeth a little more often in that area to get the food out and check for grass or sticks that may get stuck in there. Please note this is not the same thing as a cleft palette. This is just a cleft lip and he can eat any type of food completely fine. Marco may look a bit different but he is a gorgeous boy. Marco is currently 5-8 months old 17 pounds. Male Heelers are typically 40-50 pounds fully grown. He is very timid and shy and under socialized but a gentle, nervous boy who has a huge heart and a beautiful soul. He does nervous pee so we are working on this and I do not think this will be forever I think once he gain some confidence, he will be perfectly fine. He gets very nervous with new people, dogs, and places. He needs a committed adopter willing to socialize him, be patient, loving , kind, and start on some basic puppy 101 training when he is ready. He is a nervous nelly but has the absolute sweetest soul. Please give him a chance !!
