Rexx was found abandoned on local turnpike with another dog and a litter of puppies. He arrived at the shelter very scared and needed a few days to understand his situation. He is a sweet guy that has a gentle soul. He has come a long way since his arrival at the shelter and would love to find out what a loving forever home is all about! He did test positive for two tick borne diseases: Anaplasmosis and Lyme and is currently on an antibiotic course and is doing well! He did well with the tester cat here at the shelter and does not seem to mind the company of other dogs. Rexx must meet all family members that reside in the home. He will need someone that understands the border collie breed and that will give him time to come out of his shell in a new home! Bubba was much loved in his previous home but due to his owner`s health they could no longer care for him. He is a 7-year-old Cattle dog that weighs in at 50 pounds. Bubba is a happy guy and loves to go on walks! He can sit, shake, give both paws, lie down, speak, back up, jump, and can ring a bell for when he needs a potty break! Bubba has done well around cats and while he never lived with other dogs does not seem to mind them. He has never lived with or really been around children so a home with older children or adult only would be best for Bubba. Bubba is a herding breed and does tend to herd so a knowledge of herding breeds would be helpful for his potential adopters Bubba is on a special food due to a sensitive stomach but is doing very well on it. Bubba is a great guy that would love to be spoiled in another home soon!
