Story
🐾WALLACE🖤 Wallace is a loving, handsome, 1.5 year old border Collie/husky mix. He is amazing with other dogs & lives with a bunch of them! He does well with cats as long as a clear expectation is made of how he should behave. 🐱 Wallace is house trained and kennel trained, and he walks/runs well on leash! He would do well with older children as long as they are familiar with the breed & ok with potentially being herded. 🐶 This sweet boy thrives with consistency. He has a hard time adapting to change but has gotten better and will continue to improve with the right amount of training. Wallace can get very excited and just needs someone calm and consistent in these times to help him be the best boy!🖤 Is Wallace the pup you’ve been looking for? PINTO IS IN A FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE ADOPTED. Meet Pinto! Pinto is really affectionate and a smart pup. He has an wonderful personality and temperament. Pinto is a genius pup! Pinto is a very social and loving pup. He is house trained, crate trained, and leashes trained. He does great with a routine, but honestly, Pinto can just go with the flow. He is an easy puppy and would do great in a family or solo owner —if you’re home all day or if you work all day, he really just wants someone to love on and really really loves to play fetch. He loves toys and balls and will tire himself out just fetching toys across the living room. He’s my lovely little bean! His adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to PA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Pinto up north to his new family. If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Pinto here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PETVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2024, 8:51 pm

Bree is a sweet, loving gal that is crate trained, leash trained, rides well in a car and is good with other dogs.  She is however shy and timid and needs time to acclimate and come out of her shell.  She is doing better with her Foster mom and is not submissive peeing when being touched as much as when she first arrived the the Foster home.   Bree needs a home with no small children, and adults that will be patient and loving to her and help her build her confidence so she can be a loving and loyal companion that we know she can be. Story
“One of the most intelligent breeds, challenging to live with, intensity and obsessive zeal of working, sharp-eyed, quick-thinking, fanatical workaholic” That’s what you think about when considering a Border Collie! Well, hate to BURST YOUR BUBBLE, “That’s NOT ME!” Hey all, I’m Shadow, a 6 month old gal weighing in at approx. 40#. Thought to be Border Collie Mix that is mixed with a much more docile, fun loving and goofy breed. Maybe a lab? Who knows, but I am intelligent, good with dogs, kids, adults and do have a bark that is heard at times (but not excessive). I don’t run around like a crazy girl, try to herd or show intensity. My best things in life are playing with toys, my fellow kennel mates, running/jumping in a pack or trying to return affection to my person. Yep, I’m eager to please and even tempered. Daily activity is good for all us 4-leggeds. Being young, I do still have some normal puppy training needs, but having some Border Collie in me, I know together we can tackle anything. Daily exercise is also needed, a few good walks, playing ball, frisbee or taking a ride will do. All these things will help me grow strong, gain experience and bond closer to you, my future mom/dad. So maybe my Border Collie cousins are into herding live stock, jumping like an acrobat for a frisbee, That’s not me. I’m a true, down to earth, loving girl that just wants to have a “Normal Good Time” with my family. How about it? Are you Game???? I’m Shadow and I want to be your “Inseparable Companion” by your side!  To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update 3.8.2014 Buddy is now 2 years old and will be a work in progress. Buddy needs an experienced dog person, he cn not be allowed off leash EVER, he needs someone willing to get him out ofhis shell.  Posted 1/14/13 Buddy was in a very bad situation, born in a barn and not socialized or fed on a regualar basis.  He is very shy and with a little work can become a wonderful companion,.  He is about 10 months old and weighs 38lbs so he will be a meduim sized dog.  He is slowly getting used to being in a house since it is all foreign to him.  He is much more comfortable outside and PLAYS like a champ! This dog does need a fenced yard!!   His adoption fee is $200, BUT remember he needs a little work to be your BEST BUDDY!!  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee along with an adoption kit . Application REQUIRED. We take the applications in the order that we receive them. Adoption fee required. Story
We rescued Max from a horse show this past winter. He gets along great with our cat and older Labradors (after they established a relationship). My husband was diagnosed with stage 3 mouth cancer in April and is going through radiation treatments now. We have not been able to give Max the active and stimulating household he deserves since then. This was never our plan and he is truly loved. We feel what is best for him is land to run and owners that have time to exercise with him daily. He gets along great with our kids 5 and 2.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!Image growing up in a yard with a human throwing you food over a fence and pouring water in your already dirty water day after day.  The human never touched you or the other three dogs in the yard and you lived outside like this summer, winter spring and fall until finally 8 years into your life someone reported your owner to the authorities and they finally came to save you!  You found yourself placed in a box separate from the only friends you had ever known.  Taken to a noisy shelter, poked, probed, bathed and then stuck in a kennel alone.  WOW SCARY right???  Well that was the experience for Max's, his best friend Moose and his 2 other fur buddies.  Unfortunately the oldest of the 4 was quite ill and passed away :(   The other one was adopted and seems to be doing well.  Max's was very shut down until the shelter staff placed him with Moose and then they saw Max's come back to life!   We couldn't allow Max's to lose the only friend he has ever had on this earth so we are taking both boys and they will only be adopted as a bonded pair with a contract signed that they will NOT be separated!! Max's & Moose will have to learn to live in a home, walk on a leash and understand what it is like to be valued and actually LOVED by a human.  If you would like to be considered for the boys please fill out an adoption application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!July 10, 2024, 7:52 pm

Story
Roxxie and Codie are ready to build the perfect relationship with their forever families.❤️ These beautiful heeler mixes are around 18 months old and around 55lbs. They are the perfect size for snuggles and very respectful with their weight! They had a rough start to life, but their foster mama has been working hard on confidence building and now they are ready to find a wonderful home of their very own!🐾 Codie and Roxxie are timid upon first meeting new people due, but once they warm up all they want are snuggles and loving from their people! They are both athletic and love to zoomie around the yard, and they will tell you how they feel with a bark or a howl. 🤪 These beautiful pups are crate trained and house trained. They sleep great in their crates at night! They are good with other dogs after appropriate introductions and love to go for walks and play with the pups in their foster home.🐶 Their foster mom has a few requests for their forever home! They want a home with a fenced-in yard where they can run and play, a furry sibling or two that have manners and will show them the ropes in their new home, and a family that is there more often than not so they can get comfortable with their new people. They take a little while to warm up, so a patient family is a MUST!🏡 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and anywhere along our transport route to Rhode Island. All animals are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, dewormed, and have a canine heartworm test if over 7 months or feline leukemia/combo test. All animals are microchipped and receive a interstate health certificate prior to transport. Adoption fees help towards this vetting, normal foster expenses, preventatives and sometimes boarding.
