Poncho is one happy dog! He loves to smile and show off those cute teefs. Poncho was picked up as a puppy in the fall of 2024. His siblings were picked up several weeks before, but he would not come to people until his mom was hit by a car. He absolutely adores people now!! He's so good with kids. Poncho is great with other dogs, takes treats gently, is house trained, and LOVES to be outside! He really loves swimming amd romping in the pond. Poncho may have some border collie in him because he loves to run cows. He will need a fenced-in yard because he will chase cars. Poncho is medium size and at 18 months old as of December 2025, he shouldn't get much bigger. He's fully vetted and ready to hang out with you! 🐾💙 Meet Finn — Your Thoughtful Trail Buddy 💙🐾 Finn is a 6-year-old purebred Border Collie with soulful eyes and a heart full of quiet devotion. This handsome boy is looking for a peaceful home where he can truly shine. 🏡 Finn is house trained, kennel trained, and walks beautifully on leash. He’s been working hard on calmly passing other dogs on walks and would be the perfect hiking or walking companion for someone who enjoys a little adventure with a loyal shadow. 🧠 True to his breed, Finn is smart, intuitive, and deeply connected to his people. He thrives in a calm, consistent home and prefers to be the only dog. He’s great with cats and older children but isn’t a match for loud, chaotic households or young kids. 🎯 Loud noises like gunshots startle him, so a quieter, rural, or suburban setting would suit him best. Finn isn’t high maintenance—he just wants a person to bond with and a peaceful space to relax in. If you’ve been searching for a steady, affectionate companion who will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty, Finn may be your perfect match. 💙 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
My husband have had our border collie since he was 8 weeks old, and he just turned 5 in January. He’s has issues with resource guarding and reactivity. He does well at doggy daycare and warms up to people once he has a few moments to sniff and bark at them. The issue is that we now have a baby and our dog is just not happy. His resource guarding has gotten worse and he’s constantly stressed. My husband and I also just no longer have the time to devote to his needs. Our dog would thrive in a home with experienced collie owners. He needs a home with no children. He has never been around cats, but he has shown prey drive towards other small animals like squirrels and rabbits. He will likely do best as a singleton animal. Our dog is so sweet and goofy. He’s got that classic border collie neuroticness. He loves car rides and playing fetch. In the summertime, he likes to chill out in one of those kiddie pools. We are based in the Harrisburg area.

Story
Meet Addy, a bright and playful 2-month-old Border Collie mix ready to learn and grow with her new family. Currently weighing 11 pounds and full of cheerful energy, she loves people and enjoys entertaining herself with all kinds of toys. Addy is working on mastering her basics like house and crate training and is being introduced to walking on a leash. She does well with other dogs and shows a curious interest in cats, though a proper introduction is still needed. An apartment would be suitable for her, provided she receives plenty of outdoor time for play and learning. A quick study, she is already responding to simple commands. True to her puppy spirit, Addy can be squirmy and isn’t quite a lap dog yet, but she calms when held close. She is making wonderful progress and seeks a patient, active home for her adventures.Addy is located in Houston, TX. Transport to most states is available for an additional fee of $300.

Meet Hazel 💕 Hazel is the total package—sweet as can be, affectionate, and ready to be your loyal sidekick. With her warm amber eyes and soft chocolate coat, she’ll steal your heart in seconds… and then happily curl up in your lap to keep it. This cuddle queen loves being close to her people. Whether it’s movie night on the couch or a quiet morning with coffee, Hazel is happiest when she’s snuggled up beside you. She also enjoys getting out for walks and does wonderfully exploring the neighborhood with her foster sister. She’d likely thrive in a home with another friendly dog to show her the ropes—or be perfectly content soaking up all the attention as your one and only. The best part? Hazel is already crate trained and house trained, so she’s ready to settle into her forever home with ease. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will adore you endlessly and happily join you for both adventures and downtime, Hazel is your girl. 🐾💕 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
Bella 🐾 Meet Bella! 🐾 Bella is a 5–6 month old pup with a heart full of love and a personality that’s equal parts playful and cuddly. 💕 ✨ Fun Facts About Bella: 1. Potty trained — no accidents since day one! 🚽👏 2. The biggest cuddle bug 🛋️ 3. Loves car rides (as long as she can touch you) 🚗❤️ 4. Super playful, floppy, and full of puppy energy 🎾 5. Smart girl who already knows “sit” 🐾 Bella’s favorite things? Sunbathing after potty breaks 🌞, flopping down leash and all, and “talking” at her reflection with the cutest little howl-growl combo. 🐶 She’s had a tough start to life and can be timid with men and kids, but she is never aggressive. She does great hanging out in a bathroom with her bed and toys, but a crate makes her very anxious. She’s working hard on puppy manners like “sit before pets” and “sit before food,” and she takes direction well. Bella is both a couch potato and a playmate — she loves walks, playtime, and then snuggling close. She just wants to be loved, reassured, and never left behind again. 💙 🏡 Ideal Home: Bella would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and get plenty of affection, exercise, and continued training. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll make you laugh, keep you company, and love you endlessly, Bella is your girl. 🥰 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
