Story
I would like to introduce our Land Before Time Litter We were told this adorable litter of 5 are Beagle mix pups about 12 weeks old. They definitely sound like Beagles so I do not suggest them living in an apartment with neighbors. They will also need an active home or another pup in the home to keep them busy. We do not know their other breeds but I was thinking maybe Lab or Pointer. I feel Ducky and Petrie will be more like the size of a Beagle the other 3 a bit bigger. All will be medium size. They are very sweet babies not shy at all. They are being fostered with other dogs , cats , bunnies and children. Ready to go home or be fostered starting January 29th. Get your applications in. You must have an approved application to come and meet them. Once you submit an application, please reach out to us in text or email. We text people, so make sure your phone is not blocking unknown callers. Please do not submit an application and then ignore us when we contact you. Story
Poor Spike !!! I have no idea why he is the last of his litter. He is absolutely gorgeous and unique looking. He is not overwhelming and in your face when first meeting people. He has a Beagle bark for sure so if you love that hilarious sound he's your man ! He will be bigger than a Beagle more like a small Lab size We were told Spike and his siblings are Blue Tick Beagle mix. We are unsure of the other breeds but think maybe some border collie. They are being fostered with other dogs , cats , bunnies and children. Ready to go home or be fostered starting January 29th. Get your applications in. Story
At 7 years old, Floppy found herself at a high kill shelter. The staff reached out to us for help and we could not say no to Floppy. Floppy is very sweet and affectionate. She loves to be by your side on the sofa or in bed - and is a velcro dog. Though not a total coach potato (but mostly), she has little spurts of energy where she collects toys (not really to play with, lol), explores, then plops back down for a nap. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash. Floppy has the softest fur and really loves pets and attention. She is pretty easy to care for and loves people. Floppy would not mind being your one and only - she is good with most other dogs but may need time to acclimate in a home with other dogs. We do not know what she thinks about cats. Floppy has been to the vet and brought up to date on her shots, spayed and has had a recent dental cleaning. She weighs 23 pounds. Please help Floppy find the loving home she deserves. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event.
