Oh sweet little Carl!  Please don't tell the others but he is our favorite.. He is the sweetest gentlest little soul and he is the runt of the litter. He will probably. He will probably be around the same size as his mom. Hes loves to be held And follows you around attentively. Hes so handsome with his blue and white coat And bluish Is gray eyes To match. He's just dreamy. And such a sweet fun loving personality. He has a very calm demeanor.  We rescued mama after she was surrendered to a local shelter for euthanasia. Just before she went into labor. She had eight puppies unfortunately one was still born period. Mom is a young border collie australian shepherd mix. The sweetest girl and such a good mom. These puppies have been in our care since the day they're born 1/3/23 We do not know what dad is However we have a DNA test pending. We believe he is Much larger Then mom. Because these puppies are going to be big!    At just over 8 weeks old they have had 2 sets of vaccines. SMILING VINNY, is a stunning 5 year old Border Collie, who lost his home and found himself up at a kill shelter.  His critically ill owner had to admit he would never be able to care for his two dogs again and now Critter Cavalry Rescue has stepped in to help them find homes and forever love. Vinnie is a solid 53 pound boy who is shy when you first meet him, but quickly warms up.  Vinny is extremely intelligent, and would graduate with honors from any dog training classes if enrolled. Like most Border Collies,  Vinny is very alert, loves his daily brisk walks and enjoys play time. His eyes light up when you toss a ball. He thinks he is a player in the major leagues.  Fully aware of good dog manners, he is a great house guest and gets along well with the other foster dogs in his home. Although a herding dog by nature, he has adapted well to living in a home.  So for the active family, those who like to run or jog, Vinny would make a great partner.  He’s fully vetted, UTD on shots, microchipped and on heartworm prevention.  If you are interested in adopting, please write to ccrnewengland@gmail.com. This stunning 3 year old, 50 pound Border Collie girl is called Evee and she is looking for a home where she can be herself.  This girl needs an active person or family or couple to take her on hikes, jogs, walks and just a lifestyle filled with experiences that are stimulating and challenging mentally.  Border Collies are so very smart and it is not good for them to be bored or ignored.  We are looking for a situation with perhaps older children, empty nesting couple that wants a strong minded and loving dog that will be devoted to them.  Evee would like to be the only dog in the home.  She is housebroken, crate trained and needsto be out and about experiencing new things in her life, so that she is less nervous meeting new people and going places. She has led a very limited life so far and we want to see her have more FUN!  She is a beauty that is striking with her shiny black coat with snow while accents.  She is the definition of 'Black and White' coloring.  It would be ideal for her to be in a home with a secure, fenced yard.  If you are interested in our girl Evee please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   She is ready for a happier new chapter in her life. Excelsis is a beautiful Shepherd/Border Collie mix who is about 11 years old and 65 lbs, looking for her forever home. Celsie, as she is lovingly called at EHR, would be a great companion for a dog savvy owner. She needs a family that will work with her on manners. She is playful and energetic, but has a timid side around people she doesn't know. Celsie has learned "sit" and "off" and is currently working on leash manners. She is dog friendly but not good with cats. Celsie would do best in a home with adults who are willing to give her the one-on-one attention she has been waiting for. FOREVER HOME NEEDED!! Kubo came to us in 2020, and was adopted relatively quickly! Unfortunately, his owners could not handle Kubo and it led to them needing to return him. He was terrified upon being back at the kennel, a completely different dog than what had came to us originally. We found Kubo a wonderful foster home where he has been for 2 years! He never receives ANY interest We are now desperate. Kubo's foster is returning to work and will not have enough time to care for him. This poor boy needs his FOREVER home ASAP!!! Kubo is a very smart 5 year old cuddle bug. He LOVES to cuddle on his person and be around them. He has been undergoing training and has come such a long way. Kubo is good with other dogs but can be very vocal when seeing them outside which is part of what his training has consisted of. Shaun Lonestar is an adorable little 6 month old puppy! Shaun's sibling got adopted and now it's his turn!  It is important to note that Shaun is super duper smart. Like really really really smart! He has mastered "sit," and is working on "shake" and "lay down."  He would do best in an active home that potentially has another dog or a family who will give him all the exercise and stimulation he needs. Shaun loves all people, children, and other dogs; especially play time with some pup pals or play time independently by himself. He is house trained and is working on his crate training, although he doesn't do well in one for more than a few hours.
