  Our pretty girl is called Danvers and she is a highly intelligent and smart Border Collie girl that is looking for someone that understands how her brain works. She is a 3.5 year old female that is a little higher on the weight chart than she should be…..40 pounds now and should be more like 35 pounds. She is living in an apartment setting and needs a totally new environment.  She would thrive happily in a place with a fenced yard, a relaxed owner who knows how to be her alpha and who is a confident dog owner.  She does great on a leash and she is typically good with other dogs but she needs an owner who is not anxious on new meetings of dogs.  Danvers is picking up on some anxiety and she doesn’t need to, but Border Collies know what is happening all around them.   She is totally trained on all the commands that you want a dog to know.  She is with an owner who has gone through a big life transition and she cannot keep Danvers by herself as a single person in the home.   This girl is so smart and so willing to learn and absorb a good leader in her life.   Could that be you!?    If so please send us an email at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 7, 2023, 5:35 pm

Our handsome young Border Collie mix boy is not a puppy but not yet a mature adult either.  His name is Quincy is only eight months old and weighing in at 40 pounds.  He is so good and wonderful with children and other dogs too.   He is thriving in his foster home after coming from a very neglectful situation as a younger dog. Now he feels the joy of being loved.  He’s affectionate, loyal and very smart with having mastered his housetraining and crate skills.  Quincy is not a needy boy nor is he demanding or pushy.  He certainly does enjoy having his ears stroked.  He is fully vetted and microchipped and neutered and oh so healthy. We think that Quincy would be an extremely fun dog to raise if you are looking for a smart, good energy for hiking, running, speed walks or just hanging out with you on the sofa.  He is going to be an ultimate 45 pound dog when fully grown.  He is not a dog for a no exercise family or person.  He  is not a Basset Hound. Our pets are physically located and fostered in Mt.Airy, NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or one of our other northern delivery locations. We have a transporter who goes north ever other week. He is very affordable and very professional to work with. Adopt fee $425! This pup is a border collie and appears to be purebred. His birthdate is 1-12-23. This pup is sweet and very willing to please. He is good with other dogs and seems to be ok with cats. He does like to chase but he is a border collie. They herd things...including small children if not supervised. We have started potty training and crate training. This pup needs a home with an experienced adopter. One who has experience with working dogs. This dog will not do well in a home with a person who is NOT active. This pup needs an owner who understands that a border collie needs a job and training. This dog will not do well cooped up in an apartment or a home all day. This boy would excel in training. He is so smart. This pup is neutered, had ALL of his puppy shots, bordetella, rabies and microchipped. He will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health by my vet prior to transport. He will probably be around the same size as his mom. Hes loves to be held And follows you around attentively. Hes so handsome with his blue and white coat And bluish Is gray eyes To match. He's just dreamy. And such a sweet fun loving personality. He has a very calm demeanor.  We rescued mama after she was surrendered to a local shelter for euthanasia. Just before she went into labor. She had eight puppies unfortunately one was still born period. Mom is a young border collie australian shepherd mix. The sweetest girl and such a good mom. These puppies have been in our care since the day they're born 1/3/23 We do not know what dad is However we have a DNA test pending. We believe he is Much larger Then mom. Because these puppies are going to be big!    At just over 8 weeks old they have had 2 sets of vaccines. Excelsis is a beautiful Shepherd/Border Collie mix who is about 11 years old and 65 lbs, looking for her forever home. Celsie, as she is lovingly called at EHR, would be a great companion for a dog savvy owner. She needs a family that will work with her on manners. She is playful and energetic, but has a timid side around people she doesn't know. Celsie has learned "sit" and "off" and is currently working on leash manners. She is dog friendly but not good with cats. Celsie would do best in a home with adults who are willing to give her the one-on-one attention she has been waiting for. FOREVER HOME NEEDED!! Kubo came to us in 2020, and was adopted relatively quickly! Unfortunately, his owners could not handle Kubo and it led to them needing to return him. He was terrified upon being back at the kennel, a completely different dog than what had came to us originally. We found Kubo a wonderful foster home where he has been for 2 years! He never receives ANY interest We are now desperate. Kubo's foster is returning to work and will not have enough time to care for him. This poor boy needs his FOREVER home ASAP!!! Kubo is a very smart 5 year old cuddle bug. He LOVES to cuddle on his person and be around them. He has been undergoing training and has come such a long way. Kubo is good with other dogs but can be very vocal when seeing them outside which is part of what his training has consisted of.
