  Our pretty girl is called Danvers and she is a highly intelligent and smart Border Collie girl that is looking for someone that understands how her brain works. Our handsome young Border Collie mix boy is not a puppy but not yet a mature adult either.  His name is Quincy is only eight months old and weighing in at 40 pounds.  He is so good and wonderful with children and other dogs too.   He is thriving in his foster home after coming from a very neglectful situation as a younger dog. Now he feels the joy of being loved.  He’s affectionate, loyal and very smart with having mastered his housetraining and crate skills.  Quincy is not a needy boy nor is he demanding or pushy.  He certainly does enjoy having his ears stroked.  He is fully vetted and microchipped and neutered and oh so healthy. We think that Quincy would be an extremely fun dog to raise if you are looking for a smart, good energy for hiking, running, speed walks or just hanging out with you on the sofa.  He is going to be an ultimate 45 pound dog when fully grown.  He is not a dog for a no exercise family or person.  He  is not a Basset Hound. JoJo is a 1.5 year old Border Collie who loves to have fun. This handsome boy is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is also HW tested negative and microchipped. Jojo was surrendered to us because he killed a neighbors chicken, so a no chicken home is a must. He lived outside all day and came in to a crate at night. JoJo is a sweet, happy boy that would love to be part of an active family. Obedience was a breeze for him and his recall is improving every day. JoJo likes to fetch a ball and swim every chance he gets. He is highly intelligent and athletic and would excel in any dog sport especially agility, flyball, dock diving, and frisbee. Although he does not potty in the house, he should be supervised until he can be fully trusted indoors on his own. Meet Duke and Daisy! These beautiful siblings have found themselves in need of a new furever home with lots of land and room to run around, could that be with you? They are Border Collie/Spaniel mixes around 5 years old and have been together since birth. These sweetiepies made their way to us here at PK due to no fault of their own - their original dad loved them so so so much. Mojo was found as a stray and we made every effort to find his owners but to no avail. He is an Aussie mix and of course with the breed comes high activity. I will say that he loves his down time though! He is NOT an apartment dog. He needs a good sized fenced yard. He is not great in a crowd of dogs but will do well with a sister or brother to play with. He hasn't been tested with cats so we don't know about that. The vet believes his age to be about 6 years. He's neutered, vaccinated, crate trained and heart worm negative. He is more than ready for his forever home! Meet our boy Best Friend Pete!   This handsome boy has a ready smile that says that he wants to be your friend.   Pete is an Aussie mix boy that is one year old and 55 pounds.   He came from a sad home situation where There are too many dogs, cats, farm animals and not enough food to go around to feed them all.  The first year of his life he was tied to a broken down pickup truck bumper and had to crawl under the truck for shelter in the hard clay dirt where with no grass grew. He was so shy and timid when we first brought him to the foster home and he just didn’t know about all these sights and sounds of the outside world that he was experiencing.   He has come to love the time and loving attention and inside comforts of a home. He is a blessed dog that was able to escape a very poor and sad living situation.
