Meet Katie — a 6-month-old possible Border Collie mix with puppy energy, a sweet soul, and a playful personality that keeps life fun. At around 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and supervising the household full-time. Katie was found tied to a tree in a busy area, but despite her rough start, she’s remained incredibly loving and gentle. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once she knows she’s safe, she turns into a total affection addict who wants nonstop pets and attention. She loves chew toys, gets along great with other dogs and cats, and has fully embraced her self-appointed role of “cat herding specialist.” Katie is also doing wonderfully with crate training and is already showing how smart and eager to learn she is. Katie is looking for a patient, loving family who will continue helping her build confidence and give her the happy ending she deserves. In return, she’ll provide endless laughs, loyal companionship, and plenty of puppy entertainment.

Mom is now being spayed to prevent such future outcomes from happening again and now 5 girls and 2 boys are literally the puppies of the week looking for new homes. Mom is a fluffy black and white border collie mix and of course, Daddy is unknown. The puppies are all social, fun loving, playful and happy babies who get along with kids and other dogs. We do not know how they are with cats. They are about 3 months old and 9-10 pounds. Please help Monday find the loving home she deserves. "Puppies of the Week: litter: Girls are Sunday, Monday, Tues, Wednesday & Friday. Boys are Thursday & Saturday. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** "Puppies of the Week" litter's adoption fee is $550. For puppies that have not been able to be neutered/spayed yet (due to being too young or small) we charge $550 with the condition that when they are fixed $50 is refunded. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

Ruthie Ann lived most of her life tied to a chain in the yard. This sweet pup is now just learning what it's like to live inside with a family, go out to play and then come in for cuddles. She is friendly, playful and good with other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Ruthie Ann is about 9 months old and 28 pounds. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
