Story
Meet Pepper (Gypsophila) This gorgeous girl is every bit as sweet as she looks — smart, athletic, and absolutely beautiful inside and out. When Pepper first came to us, she was a shy, unsure pup. With time, patience, and love, she’s blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion who’s ready to find her forever home. She’d love to have another dog in the family to help her continue to build confidence and share playtime adventures. Pepper is just under a year old, healthy, spayed, and microchipped — ready to start her next chapter! If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle soul to add to your home, Pepper will steal your heart. #BellesBudsRescue #AdoptPepper #RescueDog #FallInLove ##2513654##

Story
Divinity is a sweet, gentle girl who’s just waiting for the right person to help her truly shine. She may be a little nervous at first, but her kind nature shows through - especially when she comes trotting over the moment she sees a leash, ready for a walk and some one on one time. She’s good on a leash and walks nicely by your side without pulling. Divinity has a soft spot for affection and will happily stay close, soaking up pets for as long as you’re willing to give them. She does get a little excited at times and may jump up for attention, but it’s all part of her learning how to express her love. She’s not much into toys, but she’s perfectly content amusing herself - trotting around, sniffing, and taking in the world at her own pace. She`s done well meeting other dogs, but she`s not much for playing. She just prefers to coexist nearby. With her medium energy level and easygoing walking style, Divinity has so much potential to blossom into a loyal, loving companion. She just needs a patient home to help build her confidence and show her she’s safe, loved, and home for good.

This is Freya. I got her when she was a pup. She was a rescue, I trained her she’s a very good girl. She was my hunting and fishing buddy as well as my copilot while I ran hotshots during Covid. so she’s accustomed to travel and loud noises. I retired her and now she’s old and fat very happy. She’s amazing with kids she was around both my kids as newborns and she was very gentle and loving towards them. She’s anxious in backyards being fenced in. She likes small areas so she enjoys being in crates. Unfortunately I’m having to move and cannot keep her, less and less people are allowing big dogs in rentals. I’d really love for her to goto a sweet loving home it will break my heart if I have to surrender her.

Story
Meet Bam Bam, a young, vibrant soul wishing for a home where he can really spread his wings. He was given up because he was not suitable to living in an apartment and needs a house with a fenced yard so he can explore and burn energy as his foster saw. His days are filled with bursts of energy, showcasing his curiosity and confident spirit. He weighs 59 pounds and likes agility, fetch, running, tugging, toys, water, chase and especially long walks where he can lead the way. He knows the sit, stay, come and no commands but is still working on house training so please be patient with him. He needs to be let outside right after eating to avoid accidents inside the house. He is used to sleeping in his bed in the main bedroom and likes to keep an eye on his humans even while exploring the yard. Always curious, Bam Bam loves exploring every nook, making him quite the nosy companion. He`s not just about fun and games; his protective nature makes him a great watchdog. Despite his jumpy and noisy demeanor, Bam Bam is a true cuddler at heart, always ready to snuggle into a lap. He might chew a bit, so hard rubber Kong toys and chew bones keep him busy. He`s a social butterfly, thriving in lively environments. He loves interacting with other dogs and shows an easygoing curiosity towards cats. He comes alive in the company of dogs and adjusts very well to the other dog`s playstyle. With children, he`s always friendly but a bit jumpy so he`ll need to live with kids at least nine years old. Bam Bam is smart, goofy, affectionate and loyal, and will make a wonderful companion for a patient and active family. Adopt Bam Bam for a lifetime of adventure and affection. Please contact his foster, Ram at CAPdogfoster@gmail.com for more details. Story
Hi there!! My name is Oliver - The name Oliver is derived from the old Norse name Áleifr, meaning 'ancestor's descendant.' The most common nickname for Oliver is Ollie. I LOVE to be called Ollie...well that's what my photographer likes to call me anyway ;) So I used to belong to an awesome member of our wonderful military. He got me as a pup. After awhile like many of our wonderful soldiers, he was deployed and unable to care for me anymore. He found someone to adopt me, but that didn't work out either. I was abandoned and left alone to care for myself. I sure was missing my soldier :( So now I'm here at Lucies and making friends fast! These volunteers are absolutely amazing. Most of the dogs here are as well. Our pack leader KJ, usually keeps most of us in line ;) I'm now ready for a PERMANENT home of my own. After being left twice, I'm afraid no one wants me. I'm a good boy and I love to run and play or just cuddle and snuggle. Won't you please, please inquire about me? I'd love to meet you!!! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****May 22, 2026, 12:16 am

Story
Hi there! I'm called Carlee. The original meaning of this name is 'free man'. Well in my case it's free woman - woohoo!!! I was abandoned and finally picked up by the PoPo when I was found roaming the streets. A nice police officer assumed a not so happy fate for me, so he decided to take me into his home for safe keeping until I could be turned over to Lucies. That day finally arrived!! I am here and meeting kinds of new friends and learning all kinds of new things. The peeps here are super duper nice and sweet, and they always have treats in their pockets. Can you believe that??!!! Now that I've been here a bit, I've seen a few doggies go and more come! While that saddens me to lose a friend, it also makes me happy to have new ones. What I would really like though is to have a family and home of my very own. Won't you please inquire about me? *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home.
