Story
Meet Pepper (Gypsophila) This gorgeous girl is every bit as sweet as she looks — smart, athletic, and absolutely beautiful inside and out. When Pepper first came to us, she was a shy, unsure pup. With time, patience, and love, she’s blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion who’s ready to find her forever home. She’d love to have another dog in the family to help her continue to build confidence and share playtime adventures. Pepper is just under a year old, healthy, spayed, and microchipped — ready to start her next chapter! If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle soul to add to your home, Pepper will steal your heart. #BellesBudsRescue #AdoptPepper #RescueDog #FallInLove ##2513654##

Story
This beautiful golden girl is calm, friendly, and confident, with the kind of easygoing personality that makes spending time with her a joy. She’s great on leash and already knows how to sit on command. She`s gentle when taking treats from your hand and is always happy to soak up some affection and pets. While toys don`t seem to be high on her priority list, Julie is perfectly content finding her own ways to stay entertained and doesn’t need constant attention. Julie has done well with other dogs in shelter playgroups, and would love to find a home with canine companions. She strikes a lovely balance between being social and independent – she’s happy to spend time with you but confident enough to make her own fun, too.If you`re looking for a sweet, steady friend who is past the puppy chaos and ready to settle into family life, Julie may be the perfect match.

Story
Benji is 11 year old. I adopted him from a shelter. I've had him since he was a puppy. He is easy going and get along with other cats and dogs. When on a leash he does bark at other pets, but he's just excited and wanted to say hi. He does get very anxious to loud sounds like raining, thunderstorm, fireworks or smoke detector and smoke detector battery low. He would hide in tight spaces and scratch at the ground non-stop. This is the biggest reason why I have decided to re-home him. He has this anxiety behaviors since he was young. Due to my recent relocating, I am unable to care for his needs. He is looking for a home that has the patience, care and compassion for his behaviors. Please reach out if you are that family for him.

Story
Hi there!! My name is Oliver - The name Oliver is derived from the old Norse name Áleifr, meaning 'ancestor's descendant.' The most common nickname for Oliver is Ollie. I LOVE to be called Ollie...well that's what my photographer likes to call me anyway ;) So I used to belong to an awesome member of our wonderful military. He got me as a pup. After awhile like many of our wonderful soldiers, he was deployed and unable to care for me anymore. He found someone to adopt me, but that didn't work out either. I was abandoned and left alone to care for myself. I sure was missing my soldier :( So now I'm here at Lucies and making friends fast! These volunteers are absolutely amazing. Most of the dogs here are as well. Our pack leader KJ, usually keeps most of us in line ;) I'm now ready for a PERMANENT home of my own. After being left twice, I'm afraid no one wants me. I'm a good boy and I love to run and play or just cuddle and snuggle. Won't you please, please inquire about me? I'd love to meet you!!! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****July 6, 2026, 1:55 pm

Story
Hi there! I'm called Carlee. The original meaning of this name is 'free man'. Well in my case it's free woman - woohoo!!! I was abandoned and finally picked up by the PoPo when I was found roaming the streets. A nice police officer assumed a not so happy fate for me, so he decided to take me into his home for safe keeping until I could be turned over to Lucies. That day finally arrived!! I am here and meeting kinds of new friends and learning all kinds of new things. The peeps here are super duper nice and sweet, and they always have treats in their pockets. Can you believe that??!!! Now that I've been here a bit, I've seen a few doggies go and more come! While that saddens me to lose a friend, it also makes me happy to have new ones. What I would really like though is to have a family and home of my very own. Won't you please inquire about me? *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home.
