Story
Lucy was found as a stray in a beautiful wooded neighborhood in NW Houston, likely dumped. This is unfortunately a common occurrence in this area. Lucy may be a purebred dog but we have no way to confirm this. She is a Smooth Coated Border Collie. Her age is also in question, so we are guessing she is about 5-6 years old. Lucy comes from a working breed and lives up to this reputation. She is not a dog companion. She does however like to keep all the dogs in the household in line. Lucy is a low energy dog enjoying lounging in her favorite spots on the stair landing or in front of the window where she can monitor all activity inside and outside. Other things she really enjoys are her daily walks (verbalizing her excitement), watching tv with you (and getting a back scratch), and crawling in bed in the morning to say hello. Lucy is very loving and affectionate, and would do really well as an only dog to a person or family with no small children. She does not mind children, but has a delicate back leg that should not be climbed on. She has been on a good joint supplement for this and it should be continued. Lucy is raw fed and has blossomed on this protocol. It helps her joint issue and keeps shedding from her silky coat to a minimum. We are looking for adopters that would continue this diet. She is house trained and extremely reliable. Lucy does not chew or destroy items left out. She is HW negative, spayed and up to date on her rabies vaccine. Please contact Kelly at No One's Dog Rescue to meet Lucy or for more information on this sweet girl.

Story
Rusty is a rescue from a rough neighborhood in South Houston. We believe that he is about 6 years old, but his age may have been determined by his teeth, which may not give an accurate reading as they are quite damaged. He is a good, sweet boy who mostly keeps to himself, but secretly loves attention. He is very loyal and loves to spend time outside. Rusty had stage 3 heartworm when we rescued him, and were not expecting him to survive the treatment. Luckily, he is a very strong dog and pulled through! I love this little guy more than anything, but am having a baby soon and will not be able to give him the love and attention he deserves anymore. Looking for a family who will love him as unconditionally as he will love you!

Story
Pickles is an amazing dog. Polite, gentle and well behaved. She loves skateboarding, Frisbees and balls for fetch and water. The girls were splashing in the river and we learned that Pickles would swim out to "save" them when they would grab her harness! Shoes not a huge barker. She should have been named Wiggles! She's a loyal companion. We are in our 60's. My granddaughter was supposed to take her back to Washington state with her so she could run and do what she loves. That didn't happen. We are rehoming her for her benefit. We don't have the room for her to run, nor the ability to do the things that she loves. I have videos so you can see her in action! She loves to cuddle and be brushed and bathed. She has 2 quirks. Thunder and fireworks. Good luck trimming her nails!

Story
My foster parents have been calling me Paula for now because of my white paws. I’m such a sweet girl and was found dumped in the rain where I was seen dodging traffic until my foster dad pulled over to get me. I immediately rolled over for a belly rub and was carried to safety. I am great with other dogs, potty trained and approximately 7-8 months old. I enjoy going on walks and walk beautifully on a leash and am well behaved when taken out in public around other people and pets. I have a mild activity level so I am not overly rambunctious as many puppies can be. I enjoy being near my people and am happy to curl up near you and watch a movie. Feel free to message my foster parents with any questions so that I can find my forever home!

Story
A friend of mine had an emergency situation and could no longer care for Maddie so I brought her to my house and have had her about 2 weeks and found out my landlord does not allow pets at all. She's had all of her shots and boosters. Doesn't bark a lot and she is pretty much housebroken. Other than that well-behaved as far as puppies go. I have a crate that she sleeps in at night as well as food and harness and everything she needs. Just needs a home or a family

Story
My wife has a huge heart and brought home this fun puppy. Meanwhile I am allergic to dogs. As much as I wish we could keep her we just cannot have a dog in the house. She is very playful and loves to hang with my in laws dogs. She plays fetch, loves sitting for treats and to cuddle!
