Ree Ree is very sweet! We hate to have to let her go. She is 18 weeks old. She loves to play! She loves all people. She has a very unique eye color. One is blue and the other is brown! Just so beautiful! Her skin color is gorgeous! She doesn’t mind baths and being groomed. She’s very obedient and submissive. She loves to lay on her back, chase her tail, chase butterflies, and definitely loves doggie treats! She has been so much fun the weeks we’ve had her. She will truly be missed! ❤️

Meet Henry! He’s a loveable, 76lb, neutered male, border collie mix who is about 3-5 years old. He loves going on walks, exploring in his yard, cuddling with his people, and is shameless about asking to be petted with a head nudge. He knows basic commands (sit, shake, down), enjoys his kennel, and is house trained. While he is fostered in a home without other pets or children, he has interreacted well with other dogs and would be best with older children. Lucy was found as a stray in a beautiful wooded neighborhood in NW Houston, likely dumped. This is unfortunately a common occurrence in this area. Lucy may be a purebred dog but we have no way to confirm this. She is a Smooth Coated Border Collie. Her age is also in question, so we are guessing she is about 5-6 years old. Lucy comes from a working breed and lives up to this reputation. She is not a dog companion. She does however like to keep all the dogs in the household in line. Lucy is a low energy dog enjoying lounging in her favorite spots on the stair landing or in front of the window where she can monitor all activity inside and outside. Other things she really enjoys are her daily walks (verbalizing her excitement), watching tv with you (and getting a back scratch), and crawling in bed in the morning to say hello. Lucy is very loving and affectionate, and would do really well as an only dog to a person or family with no small children. She does not mind children, but has a delicate back leg that should not be climbed on. She has been on a good joint supplement for this and it should be continued. Lucy is raw fed and has blossomed on this protocol. It helps her joint issue and keeps shedding from her silky coat to a minimum. We are looking for adopters that would continue this diet. She is house trained and extremely reliable. Lucy does not chew or destroy items left out. She is HW negative, spayed and up to date on her rabies vaccine. Meet Pesto!! This gorgeous boy was rescued as a stray a couple years ago and moved to MA to be adopted. Unfortunately, once a baby joined the family, Pesto needed a new place to go. So he hit the road and is now back in his home town of Houston. He's a friendly guy who loves treats and getting attention. He wakes up with his big smile everyday. He's currently in boarding, so he's working on his leash skills while there. He's really excited at the beginning of his walking adventure and may pull some, but settles in nicely. Pesto is listed at about 3.5 years but we think he could be a bit older. He weighs about 55lbs. Pesto does have longer hair so that requires a bit of beauty maintenance. We think Pesto would be best in an adult only home. He tends to get mats on his tail if not properly cared for, and this makes his rear end very sensitive. He can get upset if you try to touch him there when he has a mat. If you would like to meet Pesto, please reach out! Est dob: 1/22/2019 Drax is a calm, friendly, affectionate, and very easy going guy. He’s about 4 years old and is an Australian Shepard mix. He is in a home with other dogs and has been with teenage kids as well. Drax is house broken, but always expect an adjustment when any pet enters a new environment. Unfortunately, Drax was fed way too much by his previous owners and has become a little overweight. He currently weighs in at 160 lbs which is way too much for him! He is on a vet supervised caloric diet which he has done very well with and has already started to lose some of those extra pounds! He is becoming more energetic as 4 year old dog should be, by playing more with his current foster's dog and toys. He would be a great addition to a family wanting to help him on his journey with starting off with slow short walks as he works towards his goals. Melo will be two years old I’m November 2024. She’s smart, affectionate, and energetic. She loves to run, play fetch, chase anything on a rope or string, play tug of war, play in water, and learn new tricks and skills. She needs lots of love and attention and exercise and we just aren’t able to provide that for her. She’s been to obedience school and knows many basic commands and skills. She gets very excitable when new people are around and sometimes needs a few minutes to settle down. We hate to let her go but we just can’t giver her the attention and exercise she needs.
