Bronx was adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (HSSV) on April 23, 2023. He was 11 weeks old and weighed 9.20 lbs. and presumed to be a Border Collie Mix but staff was unsure what he was mixed with. Since his adoption he has completed the required Puppy Training course provided by HSSV while also receiving continued training by his family. Bronx is potty trained, knows the basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc..) but could benefit from more extensive and regular training and strong leadership from pack leader or family. Bronx loves to run, fetch and socialize with other dogs and people. He has been trained to be both on and off leash and responds to commands when off leash; but keep in mind he's still a puppy and sometimes gets distracted and may need commands repeated. Bronx also can get a little over excited when it comes to meeting other dogs and people and may jump on them or at them to greet them. BRONX IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA.

She has been training to be a service dog, unfortunately she is simply too friendly. She’s never met anyone she doesn’t want to be friends with which is a ‘no no’ for service dogs. She thrives when she has a job to do and would be ideal in an active family with lots of activities. She is extremely smart and trains easily. My father recently passed away and Duke was his dog. We live out of state, do not have a fenced yard and we already have an indoor dog and cat. Duke truly is a fantastic dog. He is super friendly, smart, loving and always happy. He loves to play with balls and in the water. He is potty trained and will come lay at your feet. He does well on a leash. You can hug Duke and he doesn’t care if you are in his face, he will gently eat out of your hand. When you brush him there are no areas that are off limits, where he will snap at you. He is truly a happy go lucky dog. My dad had cancer so Duke hasn’t had the attention he deserves in the last 6 months. If you are remotely interested, just come and meet him and you will see everything I have said is true. He is not a barker unless something is in the yard that doesn’t belong. I will be willing to pay half the bill if you get him neutered.
