Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Lulu is a really sweet dog and wants a home of her own. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. Betty is a friendly and well-behave dog who gets along with all animals and loves children. She enjoys playing with balls, taking walks, and car rides, she can get in and out of cars if they are not to tall. Betty is comfortable both on and off leash, staying close to her owners. She loves cuddling and spending one-on-one time, and she's happy to sleep in the living room on the floor or the couch.Battey has allergies that require an allergy shot Cytopoint every five weeks: she has started to take Apoquel to help reduce the amount of shots. Betty is slightly over weight and suffers occasionally from joint problems for which she takes relax chews and cosequin , she does not like fireworks and she is given relax chews and drop to reduce her anxiety.She is comfortable being home alone and gets along well with a small dog and two cats she's played with. Betty has been part of the family for three years, and her owner feels she just doesn't get as much attention as she deserves.

Australian Shepherd/ Lab is the closest breed we can guess on her. Sorry we don't have good photos of sweet Sally. She was in foster in Texas since a puppy! She is totally trained with playing with a playgroup of dogs several times/day. Finally her turn at about 2 years to be adopted. ! House and potty trained!!! woof woof. Affectionate sweet loving dog. She is a little shy at first, but opens up quickly. Has done great with other all other dogs even young puppies when done with proper introductions. She is with a rescue that is friends of Lufkin TX Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter friends. loving sweet sweet pup t is nearly impossible to say the breeds but her brother did have some Great Pyrenees in his DNA test. All of her siblings were adopted as puppies, its long been Sally's time to find her FOREVER home. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ If interested we would have you speak with her rescuer. Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs. She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA). Musso is currently still in Texas, available to pre adopt. We offer a 5 day trail so please ask us about that! We work with an amazing volunteer at that shelter who sends up the BEST dogs. You can see some of them and/or reviews on our fb page Shayne's Fosters He was living with several other dogs. He and all the other dogs ended up at the shelter:( He is so wonderful! Super friendly with dogs and humans, we believe 100% house trained but on occasion we could be incorrect, so please understand about that If you need him cat tested, please just ask us shaynesrescue@gmail.com Yes we have amazing dog rescue professional transporters who bring them in air conditioned vans to all over the 48 states of course including WA state.

Sydney is a great dog . great with cats, dogs and people. In foster in Tumwater, WA. Originally saved from Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter in Lufkin, TX. Her adoption fee includes all of her medical, spay, shots, transport on professional dog rescue transport, health certificate etc. To adopt please apply at Shaynesrescue.com on our website. She has a great personality so supervised children should work well with her, but of course all parent(s) should always supervise children around all puppies/dogs. We believe she is house trained, but moving to another home we can never guarantee!

Elsa is a doll! Super loving and she loves to be near you. She is amazing and adores children! She has spent two nights with an infant/toddler and older child in WA as well. Yes we paid for her eye removal and she is all healed ready to adopt. It is all healed. Great with dogs and people and cats. In foster in Tumwater, WA She is pretty darn good on a leash, she is pretty quiet but sometimes will make some noises to communicate with you ! lol it is absolutely adorable. We have had her in three homes in WA where she did great with everyone. Cat tested great. ' She is ready to adopt from our wonderful rescue parner Saving Kurth Memorial Shelter pets and come up on our fantastic professional dog rescue transports.
