Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Lulu is a really sweet dog and wants a home of her own. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. This has been a very difficult decision for us. We are expecting another child and moving, and we know we won't be able to give Leo the attention and activity he deserves. Our goal is to find him a safe, loving forever home where he can thrive.Leo is a Aussie/Red Heeler mix. He is extremely loyal, loves pets, belly rubs, and cuddling with his people, and has a natural protective instinct that makes him a great watchdog.Leo would do best with someone who can provide regular exercise and mental stimulation. Like many herding breeds, he thrives when he has activities to keep him engaged. He does pull on the leash during walks and has some mild separation anxiety, though both improve when he receives enough exercise and attention.Leo is dog-selective and tends to bark at most adult dogs, so he may do best as the only dog in the home. He is a good dog with a lot of love to give and deserves a family that can provide the time and companionship he needs.Please consider Leo for your next pet!

Australian Shepherd/ Lab is the closest breed we can guess on her. Sorry we don't have good photos of sweet Sally. She was in foster in Texas since a puppy! She is totally trained with playing with a playgroup of dogs several times/day. Finally her turn at about 2 years to be adopted. ! House and potty trained!!! woof woof. Super affectionate sweet loving dog. She is a little shy at first, but opens up quickly. Has done great with other all other dogs even young puppies when done with proper introductions. She is with a rescue that is friends of Lufkin TX Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter friends. loving sweet sweet pup t is nearly impossible to say the breeds but her brother did have some Great Pyrenees in his DNA test. All of her siblings were adopted as puppies, its long been Sally's time to find her FOREVER home. https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ If interested we would have you speak with her rescuer. Many dogs are impossible to say the breeds but it is anyone's guess. As we know, mutts statistically speaking will live longer and have less vet bills!. All of our Lufkin Kurth Texas dogs were hand selected and are literally their favorites. Everyone who has adopted adores their dogs. She will totally win you over. , Please do apply!!! All our dogs are spay/neutered, current on DHPP and rabies shots, microchipped, tested hw negative, so all of that is done. Our adoptions include professional dog rescue transport to WA and health certificates (vet visit just prior to coming to WA). Musso is currently still in Texas, available to pre adopt. We offer a 5 day trail so please ask us about that! We work with an amazing volunteer at that shelter who sends up the BEST dogs. You can see some of them and/or reviews on our fb page Shayne's Fosters He was living with several other dogs. He and all the other dogs ended up at the shelter:( He is so wonderful! Super friendly with dogs and humans, we believe 100% house trained but on occasion we could be incorrect, so please understand about that If you need him cat tested, please just ask us shaynesrescue@gmail.com Yes we have amazing dog rescue professional transporters who bring them in air conditioned vans to all over the 48 states of course including WA state.

Elsa is a doll! Yes we paid for her eye removal and she is all healed ready to adopt. Great with dogs and people and cats (Peep the video of her being nonchalant with the kitty!). She was in foster in TX with a family with children and dogs, and one child is a toddler! In foster in Tumwater, WA She is pretty darn good on a leash, she is pretty quiet but sometimes will make some noises to communicate with you ! lol it is absolutely adorable Cat tested great. ' She will be here next week! This is Miska! She is a loving dog and a great partner for any pet lover. She loves to cuddle and sit next to you. Hope your bed is big enough lol. She's a Husky, aussie mix with a pretty and fluffy coat. She is well trained and can do some tricks. Good with dogs, cats and young children. Make sure you have plenty of treat on hand shes a sucker for em. I dont want to see her leave but if im honest I dont have the time nor money to give her the care she really needs and deserves like regularly grooming and vet care. It really pains me to say it but its the truth and she deserves so much better. She really is the sweetest puppy out there and I would love to see her go to a home that can fulfill these needs.
