Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. The fee includes adoption fee and transportation fee.

Best family dog! I am so sweet! Why do I not have a home? Likes dogs, humans, cats, walks and car rides!  Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com I would like a family looking for a Austrialian Shepherd mix. My owner had a medical issue and could no longer care for me.  Rusty Bubbles is a ma le 5 mos old and 25 lb Austrialian Shepherd mix.  I love people, toys, car rides, dogs etc.   I am a semi energetic, very affectionate lad that likes playing with toys and hang out with my people.  I am an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks and some dog training.  Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
Chris is a purebred Australian Shepherd, 70lb lap dog who will snuggle with his humans in bed and on the couch. He loves his family and has the sweetest demeanor at home. He will play fetch for hours, loves the water and his daily 2 mile walks. Chris needs a home that doesn't have small children as he does jump and nip. He received professional training, but we did not see much improvement in curbing these behaviors. The main reason we need to rehome Chris is his aggressive behavior towards other dogs. We were never able to take him to a dog park without him getting into a fight and he recently bit our neighbor's dog.:( He should be in a home where he is the only pet, has a lot of space to run, has humans who have time to spend playing fetch and would love snuggling up to this handsome blue-eyed guy. We truly love Chris and he's a great, loving dog with adult humans.

Story
This dog was abandoned by his owner. Ozzie is a good boy, he is very active and needs a lot of attention. He is crate trained for sleeping at night. Does not do well with cats. My apartment does not allow pets so I can't keep him. He would do well with a yard to run around. Could use training.

Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in W WA ROXY is an exceptional dog...DOB: 10/30/23... not very old but the sweetest ever. She has a magic touch that whoever looks at her falls in love. She was initially found tied to a post outside a trucking company in the heat of the day with no water or food. A good Samaritan found her and had to do something about it. She took her to the vet and they treated her for heat exhaustion. From there good food and medical care turned her into a very special dog. She does very well in a crate if not in it for much of the time; and totally leaves my cats alone. She is barely curious about them. We think she is fairly house trained, she has not pottied in her crate. Roxy is happy and playful. She will probably get up to about 30# when grown. Roxy will make a great family dog. We would NOT recommend her for YOUNG children, she is nervous around them. She does need some leash training but she is very trainable and wants to please. She is a typical puppy with puppy energy, she is NOT a couch potatoe! Check out our YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/6rVPxmU7Emk Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. SAM is the most outgoing of this litter. He was the chosen one to go with the Foster to her Yoga class and get handled by all the ladies. He loved every minute. He loves to be held and cuddled and especially to get tummy rubs. This is the sweetest litter of possible Australian Shepherd mix. DOB is 2/28/24. We expect them to be about 30#s when grown. They all love to play with each other, toys, and people. They are crate trained and they are getting accustomed to a collar and leash. These will make great family pets. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
