This lad loves people, children, dogs that are gentle with him and want to play with him.  He is a very happy, outgoing and energetic lad that loves to play with toys, crate trained and leash trained. Loves hanging with his people where ever you at.  Likes car rides.  He will do best in a home with another dog his size and energy level where someone is home, has children and a securely fenced yard.  Lots of activity farm would be great too for him,  No apartments please!    L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. JACK needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. I got Basil when I was in high school when she was just about 8 weeks old. She’s been an amazing dog, and is a very sweet girl. Within the last 1.5 years, shortly after having my daughter, Basil has experienced severe skin issues and weight loss. Her skin sheds everyday, all day long, as she scratches herself until told to stop. Then gets right back to scratching… I’ve changed her diet, given her different medications prescribed by a vet, along with an allergy shot and a steroid shot. Nothing I’ve done has helped, and I cannot afford to care for her anymore. It saddens my family and I to say goodbye to Basil, but for her health we have to let go. Whoever adopts Basil needs to understand there WILL be vet testing and medication cost for her.
