APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 4 yrs old (est DOB 7/23/2021). He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. JACK needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. He deserves a second chance…he needs someone who believes in him! Check our You Tube Video: https://youtu.be/zawD9-77Oxs This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Hes a very loveable dog however we just dont have the room for him in our apartment which is why we're rehoming him because we feel so bad. He wants to run and play fetch. Hes very good at hearding... we only know that because he loves to heard our trouble maker child to her room lol. He hasnt found interest in snuggling yet but hes only 1 year and almost 4 months and hes been around alot of noise and kids. With the right home and time he will be a great dog for the family. Hes very protective of his loved ones and wants to snuggle where he feels comfort.

Story
Coco is a sweet, energetic puppy who brings joyful curiosity wherever she goes. While she’s a little more independent than her siblings, she still loves being part of the action and keeping busy. Coco has all the classic Aussie-mix traits—smart, alert, and eager to explore the world. She is very food-motivated and gets extra excited at mealtime, so treats should be offered on a flat palm to keep fingers safe. Coco will do wonderfully with positive reinforcement training and enrichment activities that engage her mind as much as her body. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DHPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), and Strongid (wormer). Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
Teddie is a bright, bouncy little girl with a heart full of love and energy to spare. As an Australian Shepherd mix puppy, she’s curious, smart, and always ready for her next adventure. Teddie adores attention and will happily soak up every cuddle and belly rub you offer. She’s also a certified foodie—mealtime is her favorite event of the day! Because she gets a little too enthusiastic, treats are best offered on a flat palm (think: feeding a friendly zoo animal). With consistency, training, and lots of love, Teddie will thrive in an active home that’s ready to keep up with her puppy energy and growing brain. The dog adoption fee is $90.
