She is looking for a semi to active kind family with a securely fenced yard. She will enjoy having being be the only pet to be doted on in the home. She is currently in petsitters home, but small dogs stress her out with their barking. She will be fine with kind children over age of 9 yrs old. She is very affectionate with humans, loves dog beds, toys, walks and treats. She is crate trained, house trained, likes car rides, leash trained and knows commands sit and come. She just loves her humans! Great companion for someone. She was abandoned by owner when very cold. Loves hanging with his people where ever you at. Likes car rides. He will do best in a home with another dog his size and energy level where someone is home, has children and a securely fenced yard. Meet Hamlet Hamlet is an approximately 7-month-old Border Collie mix and the brother of Romeo who just came up on our 2/14/26 transport. He has been waiting far too long at the kill shelter for his chance at a forever home. Hamlet is a sweet, friendly, and happy boy who loves people and does well with other dogs. He is so thankful for any attention he can get at the shelter and would love a family of his own. Like many young pups, Hamlet will need guidance with potty training, crate training, and leash manners, but he is young, adaptable, and eager to learn. His playful and affectionate personality makes him a wonderful companion for the right family. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
