To be considered for adoption, pls submit an application in advance.     Adoption fee: $700 Meet Fame!   Fame is a 1–2 year old Terri-Poo (Terrier/Poodle mix) who came to DPS from the shelter along with his brother, Fortune. He weighs 17 lbs. This happy, affectionate boy has quickly settled into home life and shows off the perfect mix of playfulness and sweetness every day.   Fame’s mornings start around 7am with breakfast, followed by a full day of fun and relaxation. He loves lounging on the couch, zooming around the yard with his foster dog buddy, and playing with toys— especially a good game of tug-of-war. When he and his canine foster sibling get going, they have the best time playing “keepaway,” taking turns chasing each other around the yard. Fame is curious about the cats in the home and would love to make them playmates, too!   This slightly Velcro pup enjoys knowing what everyone’s up to and likes to be in the middle of the action, though he’s just as content snuggling up on the couch once playtime is over. He absolutely adores the family’s 11-year-old child and loves spending time with her. Fame fits right in with an active household full of laughter, movement, and companionship.   He’s a very well-behaved boy who only barks when his foster brother dog does and hasn’t had any accidents since his first few days in the home. Fame will chew on shoes if left within reach, but otherwise sticks to his toys. He does pull and sometimes chew the leash on walks, so he’ll need a little continued practice there.   Fame eats dinner around 6pm and happily settles in afterward, enjoying time with his people or curling up for a nap. What stands out most about him is his joyful spirit—he greets his foster with the same happiness whether it’s been 10 minutes or all day.   Fame would love a home where he can be part of the daily rhythm, enjoy playtime with another friendly dog or kids, and soak up all the love and attention he so easily returns. He’s sweet, social, and ready to bring his boundless cheer to his forever family.December 1, 2025, 2:13 pm

Story
Murph was adopted when she was four months old. She is high energy and loves hard. She loves to cuddle and be around her people. She does get along with other dogs once she gets to know them. She needs more training while walking, as she pulls on her leash. She can bark while inside if she isn’t getting attention or needs to let her energy out. She responds well to a vibrating collar which we have and can provide. She is unique and has a very silly personality. She will do well somewhere where she can run around and play with her family.

Story
Meet Willow — A Sweet, Sensitive Soul Ready to Bloom Willow is a 1.5-year-old, 10-pound white terrier mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit just waiting to shine. Though timid at first and easily overwhelmed by busy or loud environments, once she feels safe and bonded, she blossoms into a snuggly, affectionate companion who will excitedly jump up for attention and melt into your arms. Her silly and confident side truly comes out when she's with other dogs — she absolutely thrives in the company of playful canine friends. Willow has a strong need to play and would do best in a home with a well-matched, active dog companion and a secure yard where they can run and romp together. She’s dog-door potty trained and enjoys the independence to go outside to play as she pleases. Willow also rides well in the car using a booster seat and walks nicely on leash, especially when she has another dog to follow. Because she can be fearful of children, Willow is best suited for an adult-only home. While she hasn’t lived with cats, we have no reason to believe she wouldn’t do fine with a calm feline friend. Willow will need an adopter who is experienced with nurturing shy or sensitive dogs. Patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement will be essential. A clear post-adoption transition plan tailored to her needs — including time to decompress, daily structure, mental enrichment, and continued socialization — will set her up for success. If you’re ready to earn the trust of a timid pup and watch her blossom into the joyful dog she’s meant to be, Willow may be your perfect match. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Our team will carefully review it to determine if you are a suitable match for the dog you are interested in. If deemed a good fit, the foster parent will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or seek additional information. In the event your application isn't accepted or might be a better fit for another dog, we will provide feedback and suggest alternative matches. Your application remains active for 90 days, allowing consideration for other dogs in our care. Simply email us if there is another dog you would like your application to be applied to. [Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application) For application forwarding requests or any specific inquiries, you can contact us at adopt@underdogca.com. This email is also the preferred channel for additional information submissions or document uploads. All our dogs undergo comprehensive vetting, including spaying/neutering, microchipping, DHPP, flea treatment, deworming, and Rabies vaccinations. Additional vet care is provided as needed based on their requirements. The adoption fee for this dog is $250 serving as a non-refundable donation.
