Everyone loves a Boston Terrier and so do we!  This girl is not one of those well bred BT's but one of those that needs the most help!  Our girl is called Jettie and She is a 22 pound,  9 year old mostly black female Boston Terrier girl that is healthy and happy and looking for a home.  Feisty and confident like most Bostons, this girl has alot of spunk, and alternatively really enjoys napping by your feet. Her story is that her owner died and the owner’s son took her to live with him. It was not he happy time and situation for Jettie.  This innocent and lost little girl was put at that time, and only 17 pounds, in the back yard with his Pit Bulls.  HORRORS!!!!!   OF COURSE things went wrong and based on the fact that animal control was called, she was surrendered with so many wounds on her body, neck and tail. Despite the nightmare, she is still loving and trusting and just wanting to BELONG.  This girl has been in foster care for the past month and the wounds are healed on the outside but emotionally she is constantly looking over her shoulder to see if she needs to protect herself. Can you help Jettie?  She is not a shrinking violet and out of survival instinct, a girl who will be appreciative for whatever is done for her.  Since she has always been 'defending' herself, we are asking for an ONLY DOG HOME for her.   We don't want her to always be looking over her shoulder at another dog coming to hurt her.  I think she learned to growl and act like an alpha to thwart the constant aggression she was living with. Because of that, I feel that she has earned the right to belong to a living family who has no other dogs…She respects the cat and dogs in the foster home because they show her no malice, but on  occasion she will growl and posture if she feels threatened. If you can handle that tension for while till it subsides then fine....but it is there.  She is a loving dog who longs for walks, cuddles and the love of a human(s) in a safe and loving environment!  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at 20, 2024, 9:05 am

Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size.  He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence.  He doesn't like cats and doesn't like having his nails cut. Up to date on shots, heartworm negative, crate and house trained.  He's a great dog. Please send your phone number to learn more about Zeus. Thank you for your interest in Carly! Carly lives in an Alabama foster home and will transport to Her home when she is adopted. Adopters speak to the foster family, can FaceTime to see their puppy in real time, and request more pictures and video. Carly is spayed, rabies, a full series of four puppy vaccines, Bordetella, microchip, multiple deworming, and she has started flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She is 100% vetted. Carly was born to a stray dog that showed up and had her puppies the next day. She is the smallest in her litter at 3 1/2 months old and only 10 pounds. We do not think Carly will ever grow over 25 pounds, maybe not that big. We have pictures of her mom, a smooth coat white terrier mix, about 33 pounds and a little on the thick side from her generous Foster Carly lives in a foster home with a family and their teenagers, her mama dog, and her littermates. She is familiar with the crate and stays dry all night. Adoption fee for Carly is $585 total. That fee includes the $175 that we have to pay to the Transporter. We do not own the van service and have to pay for every dog that we send out of state to home. Carly will also see the vet before she transports for a health check and a health certificate, at $65 at the vets office. We have been sending dogs to New England homes for over 15 years. Adopter should fill out the application online and we will be in touch with you. Thanks again for your interest in adopting!
